**Video Edited** Hello everyone! I'm really sorry but I had to edit and remove a portion of the video that shows me flipping through my craft books. It has come to my attention that showing contents of the craft books could cause copyright issues. I thought it was ok to show a few pages but that might not be the case. So to avoid any potential problems, I have removed that part of the video that shows me sharing my new craft books and flipping through them. I'm really sorry for causing any inconvenience and disappointment that may have caused. 🙏😞
Hello Kiko, I am Brazilian, the daughter of a Japanese father and a mother of Portuguese descent. I am 64 years old, married and have no children or pets. I lived in Japan more than 30 years ago and now I live in the largest capital of my country. Today I am retired from my former job in the administrative area, so I can dedicate myself to some hobbies such as crochet, knitting, small sewing, painting and drawing. I am your follower, I really admire your work and your lifestyle inspires me, in addition to feeling a lot of peace and comfort. Congratulations! I always wish you health, love and peace. I will enjoy meeting your kitty. Your garden is beautiful, I love flowers and nature. Thank you, a big hug.🌷🌷🌷🌷🌼🌼🌼🌼🙏🙏
I live in Russia, in Moscow. I am 56 years old. I have six children, a dog, two cats and a street dog. I do various hobbies: felting, knitting, embroidery, sewing, drawing. I really like the whole channel ❤ thank you very much
Thank you very much for watching! We have similar hobbies! I almost tried felting a long time ago but stopped myself because I have too many hobbies. But I still think about it from time to time. 😅
Hi, so you know I was excited to see Sashiko. I bought a starter kit with printed grid on the fabric. It came with all the accessories and some iron on patterns but no book with instructions. So I’ll follow yours to begin while my book arrives. I also fell in love with the Japanese culture because my family and I hosted Japanese students in our home here in CA. I had 2 girls each term and they are so lovely, respectful and excited to learn American living. Love your color palette, I also choose soft colors and buy what I need. I’m also in introvert and homebody and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. We find joy in what we love. Thanks for sharing sending you ❤❤
Thank you for watching! I'm so glad there's sashiko kits available so more people can enjoy this craft! There are some really nice kits with delicate patterns that I want to get and try! I think its a great thing that there's homestay/exchange programs for students to experience different cultures and for the hosts too! These are forever life changing experiences and I'm glad you hosted some students! ❤️
Thank you for sharing your life with us. I love the fact that you force me to stop and watch rather than listening and crafting in the background! As for a cat definitely get one! I have three and love them all! They are more self sufficient/reliant than dogs so enable you to do more without having to rush home or plan dog friendly venues. If you have never had a cat I would go for an older rescue cat to ease yourself in. So many are rejected and finding a home with no children or other pets is perfect for them. You would give each other so much love and joy xx
Kiko you have been so kind and gracious doing a Q & A. Your quiet and gentle nature speaks through your crafts and the way you present them. Keep doing things as you are, it is so much enjoyed by many. People will always be curious and ask questions but you share so freely your knowledge and beautiful creations, that is all that is required. Bless you and thank you 😊
Dear Kiko I want to thank you for the absolute best videos I have ever seen. I love everything about them. Both the way you record and the fact that you don´t speak and only have text - and at the same time have such a fine and calm movement in your hands. I feel the videos bring me into my own inner space and at the same time inspire me to enjoy all the stages of my own creative process. Thank you so much taking the time to make these wonderful videos and sharing parts of your life🙏🏻 And thank you vers much for being you⭐️ With love from Gitte ( Denmark🇩🇰)
The most important art you're enjoying is....the art of living..... following you from few months n realised there is much more to discover when you are in your own company......in love with your spirit.....loads of love n wishes from India ❤
Oh I missed your post saying you were doing a Q&A. Hello fellow Canadian! As a person with 5 cat fur babies living with me my advice would be to keep your pin cushions etc hidden. If there are needles, especially with threads on them, they may try to chew the thread and accidentally ingest the needle. Also, of course as a plant person ypu probably already know this but watch for toxic plants in your home. The cats I had when I was younger would never touch my plants but now I have 2 that chew them so I can only have non toxic plants so I have orchids and lots of Christmas cactus as they have broken them so I keep propagating the broken stems lol. Wonderful video and thank you for letting us get to hear more about you 🌷
I just found your channel. Thank you for all the beautiful things you share 💞 Don't apologize for not wanting to speak or show your face, i get that and encourage you to be you. There are way too many channels out there that are about peoples faces, hair, basically way too much "look at me" , mentality. What you do is a gentle distraction in a crazy world. Its soothing and encouraging and inspiring.💛🧡
Thank you so much for watching! and for the kind and encouraging words! I'm very thankful my viewers are so supportive! It really means a lot to me! Thank you! ❤️
Aloha Kiko from Canada 🍁 I’m from Hawaii and love love love watching your vlogs. I seem to want to stitch during the colder months ❄️ Thank you for sharing, I know it takes a lot of time and effort and we really appreciate it
Hey Kiko, first of all, I would like to thank you for your relaxing and heartwarming videos! They bring a lot of joy into my life and inspire me to do new things. My boyfriend and I have two bengal cats, so maybe I can give you some advices regarding the life with cats :D 1. Don't buy cat food with grains or added sugar. They don't eat anything like that in nature either. 2. Cats must not eat raw pork! 3. Sufficient scratching opportunities are very important. 4. It's best to have a good vet in your neighbourhood. 5. You do not need to trim the claws. As long as the cat has enough scratching opportunities, it will groom its claws itself. 6. Our cats like toys with valerian and boxes that they can sit in. 7. Sometimes cats vomit to get the fur out of their stomach. This is no reason to panic. 8. Cats should not drink normal milk as they are lactose intolerant. However, they can have a tiny piece of butter or a piece of cheese from time to time. 9. If cats only wag their tails, they are annoyed. Then they need their peace and quiet. 10. Just love and cuddle them, if they want to! I hope this helps. Warm regards! :)
Love this Q and A! We thought you are Japanese because you have all those Japanese craft books. I have done boro, but want to do some sashiko, You have a lot figured out when it comes to hobbies, choosing a color palette, etc; good for you. My daughter adopted a 17 year old cat and it's been great. He's almost 21 now and has been pampered the whole time. She just couldn't deal with having a crazy kitty running around the apartment being wild. So maybe you could find a rescue cat that is just a bit older than a kitten, maybe one that is a little more calm? Kittens are pretty fun, though. Have fun getting a cat.
Thank you very much for watching! I can totally see that! I love collecting Japanese craft books. 😊 I'm hoping to adopt a calm chill adult cat. I think kittens have too much energy for me. 😅
I just discovered Sashiko and it really appeals to me. I sew & draft my clothes, hand quilt, do embroidery, knit and crochet. Sashiko seems like a natural progression of skills. It is helpful watching your process.
Thank you for watching! If you are into mending clothing, sashiko is a great way to do it!❤️ I've seen some really beautiful garments with sashiko stitchings!
As a huge cat lover and have rescued many kittens my best piece of advice is to try and adopt siblings (2) that way they entertain each other as well as love each other ! I just rescued a dying kitten 2 years ago and she has to stay indoors and she is slowly overcoming her trauma now plays with my older indoor/outdoor cat and they have become great friends! Happy ending when you can work with a rescue organization 😘
Hello Kiko! I want to say I really enjoy your videos and thanks for letting us have a bit of a peek into the person behind the camera, it feels like getting to know a new friend who shares some of my hobbies and who I can just craft silently with. I live in the US and love to sew, I started getting back into it for making my own costumes but lately I am trying my hand at vintage fashion patterns. I also love to thrift things, I’ve been collecting vintage tablecloths lately and plan to use them for my vintage wardrobe along with some modern fun patterned fabrics because who doesn’t love awesome cat prints. I have two cats of my own that I raised from around two weeks old so I had to bottle feed them, it was very labor intensive since they needed feeding every couple of hours but it was definitely a labor of love. My boy shadow he loves to lay on my clean clothes and he loves laundry day when it’s piled and sorted in the living room because he loves to lay in the dirty towels. Sunshine is sister (both from the same litter and abandoned by their mother) she is my supervisor when it comes to my sewing, she always makes sure my fabric is laid out flat by laying down on it. They did try to get into my needles a few times when they were younger, but I keep that stuff well locked up now and they don’t bother it now that they’re older. My advice to a new cat owner is this, first be prepared to find cat hair everywhere and on every thing it’s just gonna be part of life from that point on, long haired fluffy cats require a lot of grooming to keep from being matted so keep this in mind if you do not want to invest a lot of time into grooming it or paying for regular appointments. Second is cats are going to have their own distinct personalities just like humans do, some love to be held others may be more aloof and not be a lap cat you may find the kitty bonds more to your husband than you and that’s okay, they can and will have preferences towards the people in their homes. Third, when you bring the kitty home be aware it’s going to take time to adjust to its new surroundings, I don’t remember any brand names off the top of my head but there are wall plug in that release cat pheromones that can help them calm down maybe look into this when you guys find a kitty and get ready to bring them home. Maybe make the kitty a dark little cave someplace where it has a good vantage point of the whole room and you can easily set up some food and water near it while the kitty adjusts to your home. If you have questions, I am sure if there’s any rescues or fosters in your area they can help, your vet will be a big help too! Oh and make sure to get the kitty chipped along with making sure to keep their shots up to date. Please don’t declaw them if you are worried about them scratching up your furniture look into the claw caps or get them used to having their nails trimmed regularly!
Thank you so much for watching! and taking the time to provide all the wonderful cat advice!! 😊 I will definitely put away my crafting/sewing things that could be dangerous! I think cats having their own personalities is what I love about them! I think it will be a fun experience to learn and observe their likes, dislikes and boundaries...and just let them do their thing! I would never declaw...its so cruel! I rather get scratched a lot then to do that...but I want to learn to trim their nails. If my future cat will let me, that would be amazing!
Hi Kiko, thank you for another lovely video and thank you so much for answering so many questions. It’s lovely to get to know you better. I feel like you are a kindred spirit! I love making quilts, especially hand sewing, crochet, embroidery and various crafts. And, I am just learning Sashiko myself. I’m really anxious to try some indigo dyeing to make some of the lovely Japanese style fabrics. I’d really love to garden more and your flowers really inspire me. I really love your color palette. Mine is different, but yours is such a pleasure to look at and very soothing. Gives me some food for thought. I think your videos are a type of ASMR . They create such a lovely relaxed, pleasant feeling to watch. Thank you again for a lovely channel! Can’t wait to see your next video and how your garden blooms! Oh, and I live in Utah in the US.
Wow! We have very similar interests and hobbies! I've been wanting to try indigo dyeing! There's local classes that I've been thinking of attending. Maybe this is a sign! 😅 I'm glad to hear you find the videos relaxing! Thank you for watching! ❤️
@@kikosabi We do like a lot of the same things which is probably why I like your channel so much! 😊 Taking a class sounds wonderful. If you do, it would be nice to see you show the process in one of your videos . It would be nice to learn from somebody who’s had some experience, especially with all of the different ways you fold or tie the fabric to get different patterns. I wish there was a class around here. I’ll have to look online. I also love to cook and have been studying Japanese and Chinese cuisine. So it’s fun to watch you cook. I’m going to try to make dumplings from scratch making the wrappers myself. I’ve done it with the one’s purchased from the store, but your video about the dumplings gave me the inspiration to give it a try.
I recently discovered your channel and I really enjoy Watching your videos. This holiday I’m going to try sashiko for the very first time. After years of sewing, this Will be entirely New for me. We’ll see. Enjoy your day.
For a long time I have had a book "Handheld Patchwork Treasures" watching your hands has given me the confidence to try one of those projects - thankyou for your beautiful and calm videos
Thank you for answering all those questions - I totally love your videos and site and its my go to place when my world gets me down - thank you for the beauty you create
Thank you for your lovely videos. The Irish mother of a Canadian daughter, I too am enamoured with Japanese culture, crafts and tools. I really appreciate your excellent tips on colour choices, I suspect they’ll prove very useful in my future purchases. I look forward to watching many more of your thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing video diaries. Until next week.
💖💚💙❤ Hello Kiko, hello from France You're the first person that I watch who doesn't speak. So relaxing, just the music and so many wonderful things. I discover, not long ago, sashiko and I bought a kit. Really cool. I have 2 cats. If I may suggest few tips, from the very beggining prepare its space for sleeping, eating and pooping. With time, take your cat outside with its pooping thing and it will take the habbit of doing it outdoors. Don't buy toys, because it 's gonna play with every thing and nothind in particular. Cats love empty box. Never play with thread or wool. At home, I 've got wool and fleece everywhere and they don't touch it. Play with your cat, cuddle, speak and brush. Don't force them if they don't want to be cuddle . With time, you will understand their speach and body language. Try not to change its area because cats are creature of habbit and it could be stressful. But such is life if you have to. And oh yes, from the beginnig, teach your cat not to bite and if it scratch gently tap its pads and say no fermly. It will understand. Cats are very intelligent. Voilà, sorry for this looooong message. Take care and thank you for sharing your hobbies. See ya 🧡💜🖤
Hello Kiko, a lovely surprise to see your video. Most enjoyable as always. Your sewing today was lovely and I look forward to seeing how your dying of the threads turns out. What fun. I have been busy finishing up little projects since your last video. As well as completing the extending of the apron straps. I have decided, regarding the front pocket, to use a previously made FPP piece. Which did not turn out quite as expected but I love it all the same. I am now going to do another piece with different fabric colour combos. It will be interesting to see how this turns out. I think both will complement each other well. I enjoyed your Q & A's. I totally understand you keeping your privacy. I think your videos are lovely as they are. Relaxing and visual. I look forward to updates regarding your new kitty as and when your family increases with this little ball of fur. :). How cute. I am sure it will lovely all your wool :) So, until your next video Kiko take care and enjoy your crafting and gardening. Oh yes, the weather here is still unpredictable and not the norm for a summer. :(. Still like you I am happy to craft and so happy in my own little world of happiness. With the very best of wishes and thank you for the video. :)
Thank you very much for watching as always! I love that you surround yourself with different crafts and projects! They all sound very interesting and fun! 😊 I'm glad you enjoyed the Q&A! I've been wanting a cat for a long time so I'm really excited I finally got the ok from my husband!
Dear Kiko, thank you very much for an again lovely video. Especially I do enjoy that you put the craft on the center stage and not yourself, in times where everybody wants to present themselves this is a very welcome alternative format and very enjoyable, for both, yourself ( I believe so ) and us out there too. More wabi-sabi and slowness and less ego would be wonderful to the world, so go on as you do, it is great! lots of greetings from Germany - happy crafting!
Thank you very much for watching! I'm really shy so it would really stress me out if I have to film myself and talk to the camera 😅 I just want to share my passion with you all and I'm glad it's been well received! ❤️
Thank you for the video. It was very well done and so enjoyable. I like all the sewing and sashiko videos. I love your crocheted baskets but i can't crochet - I'd make one if I could. Thank you for sharing some information with us. I understand why you'd want to keep some of you private. I love your videos very much!
I’m so pleased you did Sashiko today as I bought a kit a few months ago to try to repair the holes in the knees of my jeans. But I don’t really like sewing and didn’t get far with it. You’ve inspired me to try again as I’m determined not to buy a new pair of jeans!
Really enjoy watching you sew, so relaxing and love that purple shade of fabric!❤ I have 2 rescue cat/kitten. The 2nd was adopted when he was 4months old and I noticed, he understands commands while our first would ignore you 😅 And when I sew, I do watch if they chew on my pins and etc, when I leave my sewing temporarily, I cover it with fabric or my clothes, because it would be harder for them to play with it. And after sewing, I ensure all needles or pins aren’t littered around 😅 My cats do love watching me sew and snuggle near me ❤ Thanks for sharing amazing videos. Would you be able to show how you set up your cameras? I would love to learn too 🙏
One of the best investments I made for my kitty was the purchase of a Litter Genie Waste Disposal System. It makes daily litter pan cleanup so easy. Also, I used to have two cats and had a separate litter box for each one. When my older cat passed on, my younger cat, Bindi, started using one box for peeing and the other for solid waste. This actually made the cleaning process easier for me, and I thought it was a genius decision on her part.
Thank you so much!! I just watched a tutorial on the litter genie and I will definitely be getting one! Thank you! 😊 I'm sorry about your older kitty. Your other kitty is really smart for doing that! ✨
Me gusta todo lo que haces, me siento muy identificada contigo, adoro las labores y la alfarería.Llevo unos 3 años interesada en el sashiko pero no e dado el paso, hoy viéndote lo intentaré. Gracias por enseñar.❤
Thank you very much for watching! It makes me happy that I have similar hobbies and interests as my viewers and that I can share my learning journey with you all! ✨
I really enjoyed this Q&A! It's so interesting to get to know this inspiring human behind the camera 😊 Thank you for your videos, they really inspire me! Greetings from Germany 💫
I get so much enjoyment from your video's they are so relaxing and a joy to watch. Also your work is beautiful.and the music is lovely as well. I am going to have a go at sashiko soon. Thank you from Australia. Take Care.
I have to say. Thank you for the way you do your videos. It relaxes me as well as inspires me to try something new. You just gave me an idea to make a needle holder book 😅 sometimes when there's a lot of talking, it becomes too noisy. I work in and live in a noisy environment. So videos that you make with music relaxes me. Thank you😊
💜🪻gracias kiko por compartir tan bello video y parte de tu vida!! ¿ Podrías enfocar más de cerca la puntada que haces para unir las dos telas ? ...quiero aprenderla ....gracias 🥰💜🪻
I really love hobbies like you 🥰 You are inspiration to me 😊 thank you for beautiful videos. I very happy to watch your videos and take my hobbies too.💗
Thank you very much for watching! That's a interesting approach to teaching/learning! Everybody's way of learning and pace is different. Some people do better with instructions, some better with visuals. But I think learning by looking helps you improve on your observation and problem solving skills...and that's a great thing! 😊
❤🙏arigāto, thank you for kind and subtle video!💕 I follow your chanel quite long time, but likely, introvert person, rare write comments. I am from Latvija🇦🇹(Lettonie, Baltic), in Canada lives some of my relatives, Toronto. Canada is similar to small Latvija in some way.... I like the mood you spread, i often take my knitting and see your video, being inspired in my way... 🌸🌿🌼
Thank you very much for watching! I really appreciate you leaving a comment! 😊 I looked up Latvia and the images of the natural landscape is so stunning! and I like the characteristics of the older city buildings! Such a beautiful place! ❤️
Hello Kiko! My name is Catherine, I’m from Russia and I also work in the wedding and event industry as a designer and relax through my hobby, because this work really is an area with a lot of stress. And I noticed that most of my colleagues, like me, like you, prefer neutral colors and minimalism in real life. I think we are saturated with colors and emotions in our work) by the way, I am also a homebody and an introvert. 😅 I wish your hobbies bring you even more joy!
Thank you very much for watching! I'm so glad to know someone in the same industry as me from a different part of the world! Yes it can be quite stressful and doing hobbies definitely helps! 😊
Thank you Kiko, as usual another wonderful and relaxing video I learned a lot in this one. I have been wanting to try sashiko for a while but I am not very good with drawing now that you mentioned that there are kits I can maybe get that. Thank you for your guidance.
Thank you very much for watching! There's kits that comes with pre-printed patterns or grids that comes off from water/heat. There's also different stencils that you can draw the patterns on the fabric too! I think the kits are great especially with patterns that are kind of hard to draw 😊
Hello 👋. I have always wanted to learn Sashiko. I am definitely going to find a class or hopefully I can find a beginner start kit. Thank you so much for sharing. ❤
Beautiful video , l love your sashkio I have never seen it before . So you gave me an idea I was in hospital for a while and wonted to give the lovely nurse something nice I thought I would make lavender pouches and use your pattern if you don’t mind . I grow my own lavender so it good to make things with . Have a lovely week . ❤
You are so talented. Do you think you could ever share with us some of your favorite pieces you’ve created over the years. Thank you for sharing with us.
Thank you for the kind words! I've only made a couple of simple pieces so far but I will continue to learn and hopefully later I'll have better ones that I can share with you all! 😊
Love the fact you only do your hobbies for yourself if you had to sell them it puts more pressure on oneself. Have you tried taylors chalk to mark things out on dark fabrics. X
Yes I think that will stress me out and hobbies shouldn't give you stress. 😅 I've seen Taylor's chalk pens and wondered if they will work for sashiko. Will they smudge on the fabric?
Love you colors which is how I landed on your channel and subscribed. You have great skills in all your hobbies. I am in California and enjoy watching all your videos and I quilt, and do Sashiko, and want to make clothes.
My advice for a first time cat owner is to try training them using a clicker device. It might make it easier to get them to do what you want when they grow up. Cats are very smart and can be trained with determination and consistency. It’s better to do that than to use a spray bottle to control them. That instills fear which is not really helpful. Another tip is to start any habits young. For instance, clipping their claws, handling their mouth, ears, paws, legs, tail so that when they go to the vet they are docile. If you plan to bathe them do that as a kitten too. Everything will become normal to them and they won’t react badly if these things need to happen as adult cats.
Thank you very much for the advice! I'm hoping to adopt an adult cat that is ok to being handled. I would love to be able to brush its teeth, trim nails, clean ears, etc. 😄
I don’t know what sashiko is; looks like a kind of embroidery but I love what you made! I’d love to try it! I’m also in Canada, and I love the meaning in your channel name.
I am so excited. My granddaughter is going to Fukuoka for 10 days as an exchange student in November. Wish I was going with her. Will be so different from New. Walland.
wow! I hope your granddaughter will enjoy her stay there! Japanese have great hospitality and what she will experience there as an exchange student won't be anything regular tourists can experience, more localized everyday life. 😊
Me agradó tu alma japonesa.
Hi Kiko, I recently did some sashiko on a little project but it was completely freehand as I saw a design on Pinterest, only now am I finding out that there are books and gris to follow😅 at least it looks good, so no one will ever know 😂😂 thanks for sharing ❤
Thank you very much for watching! Freehand is impressive! The grid is created to make it easier to achieve the design you want to create, helps with the consistency of the stitches, etc. but if you can do it without, then that's completely fine! Enjoy sashiko how you want! 😊
Yes, Kiko I will be trying sashiko. I’m curious how you will be using your pieces. They were lovely. I’m unclear on the thread. Do you need sashiko threads or can you use something else? Thank you for your lovely videos❤️🦋
Thank you very much for watching! I don't have any plans for them yet 😊 It would be better to use sashiko threads if you have access to them if not darning threads or embroidery floss?
Thank you! I was really influenced by my ikebana sensei, embracing and using imperfect flowers and materials and bringing out their beauty. I try applying that to other aspects of my life and the things I do and make. ❤️
Hello, the name of the pretty flowers are Penstemon maybe Pocahontas or Dark Tower, they are so much varieties. They are North American flowers, they tolerate many expositions full sun, part shade, hot summer and cold winter 😃
Besides, i should say, the latvian concept of natural beauty, in some points is on the same page with wabi/sabi concept.. there is one japanese women, who lived in Latvija, a years ago, and research for latvian mittens, after she writes a book in Japan, including patterns, and recently one japanese women open the restaurant of latvian foods in Tokio... if that interests, all is welcome❤ and as for embrodery, we have a traditional embrodery folk blouses, maybe some will be interest in😊
wow! That's interesting! It would be nice to learn about different culture's concept and appreciation of natural beauty and old traditional crafts and techniques in creating things. ❤️
If I could give you one advice on cats it is to not allow them on the surfaces where food will be prepared or eaten. It’s just not sanitary having them walk, hop, and have their heads, paws in our food. Fur in food is disgusting!! We always gave our past cats this limitation. Cannot wait to see your new addition 😊❤
You can treat it as a patterned fabric...which you can turn into dish towels, coasters, placemats, bags, pouches, decor piece, garments, etc. Anything that you can make with a regular fabric! 😊
my dear *kiko* 🌼 thank you so much for always make me fall in love to your beautiful life 🌺 we always love you 💕 take good care for your health 🙏 sending my big hug for you and all your dearest family 🤗
I cannot mention a store name but will say there is one that advertises a lot out here and they have all sorts of things including bobbins. In fact, that may be where she purchased hers.
Thank you for watching! I got the book from Amazon Japan. I think you can find it on Etsy as well. There's many great sashiko books with lovely patterns so I hope you will find one you like! 😊
Hi Kiko, I've been enjoying your videos; they're relaxing and calming and I enjoy your variety of subjects. If you would still like some information about having a cat; the Cat Daddy, Jackson Galaxy on youtube is a wonderful source. He absolutely loves cats and has had them for many many years and can answer your questions on and about cats; everything about them. I've been wanting to try sashiko myself; thank you for this demonstration. Thank you for sharing; take care.

Bless you and thank you 😊
Thank you so much for your kind words! I really appreciate it! ❤️
Dear Kiko
I want to thank you for the absolute best videos I have ever seen.
I love everything about them. Both the way you record and the fact that you don´t speak and only have text - and at the same time have such a fine and calm movement in your hands.
I feel the videos bring me into my own inner space and at the same time inspire me to enjoy all the stages of my own creative process.
Thank you so much taking the time to make these wonderful videos and sharing parts of your life🙏🏻
And thank you vers much for being you⭐️
With love from Gitte ( Denmark🇩🇰)
These were words straight from my heart. Birgit (Germany)
Thank you so much for watching! This comment made my day! Thank you for such kind words! ❤️
@@kikosabi you are so very welcome❤️
The most important art you're enjoying is....the art of living..... following you from few months n realised there is much more to discover when you are in your own company......in love with your spirit.....loads of love n wishes from India ❤
Yes! The art of living...finding little joys in life, enjoying the things that makes you happy 😊
Wonderful video and thank you for letting us get to hear more about you 🌷
Oh my 5 cats?! 😍🥰 Thank you for the advice! I will definitely hide all my sewing stuff! and will try to cat proof my house 😅
I just found your channel. Thank you for all the beautiful things you share 💞
Don't apologize for not wanting to speak or show your face, i get that and encourage you to be you.
My boyfriend and I have two bengal cats, so maybe I can give you some advices regarding the life with cats :D
Awesome! I love cats but a heads up ⬆️ my cats love to supervise my hobbies^^ 😂 they are always watching what I do so that nothing will “hurt” me 😂😂😂
im so glad i came across your channel. i just love watching your videos, please never stop making it.
Thank you so much for watching! ☺️
Taking a class sounds wonderful.
Thank you very much for watching! I hope you will enjoy sashiko! 😊
For a long time I have had a book "Handheld Patchwork Treasures" watching your hands has given me the confidence to try one of those projects - thankyou for your beautiful and calm videos
That's a lovely book! I hope you will try a project from it! Thanks for watching! ✨

Thank you for this video💕. The more I watch, the more I love Japanese crafts. I’m going to try Sashiko for visible mending. How beautiful!
Thank you for watching! I've seen some really beautiful sashiko mending on garments! 😍
Thank you very much for watching and subscribing! 😊 I'm so glad to hear we have similar hobbies! Happy that you enjoyed sashiko too!

💖💚💙❤ Hello Kiko, hello from France
You're the first person that I watch who doesn't speak. So relaxing, just the music and so many wonderful things.
I discover, not long ago, sashiko and I bought a kit. Really cool.
I have 2 cats. If I may suggest few tips,
from the very beggining prepare its space for sleeping, eating and pooping.
See ya 🧡💜🖤
I’ve been watching video with Sashiko for a whole week and your video inspired me even more.
Your handicraft is excellent!
Thank you so much!! 🙏❤️
:). How cute. I am sure it will lovely all your wool :)
So, until your next video Kiko take care and enjoy your crafting and gardening.

Thank you so much for watching! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it!✨
I’m so pleased you did Sashiko today as I bought a kit a few months ago to try to repair the holes in the knees of my jeans. But I don’t really like sewing and didn’t get far with it. You’ve inspired me to try again as I’m determined not to buy a new pair of jeans!
Thank you very much for watching! I think I would do the same! Mending my jeans instead of buying a new pair! I hope you will try again! 💪❤️
Really enjoy watching you sew, so relaxing and love that purple shade of fabric!❤
I have 2 rescue cat/kitten. And after sewing, I ensure all needles or pins aren’t littered around 😅 My cats do love watching me sew and snuggle near me ❤
Thanks for sharing amazing videos.
You're videos are so comforting ❤. Thankyouu for your efforts for making such amazing videos✨️❤️🔥.
Thank you so much for watching them! ❤️

Thank you😊

@@kikosabi Thank you for responding.

Добрый вечер!Замечательное видео!
Thank you very much for watching!
Thank you very much for watching! I'm glad to hear you enjoy the videos! Happy crafting! 😊
So amazed at how you could manage so many different hobbies 💕 Wonder what’s the size of the sashiko squares?
Thank you very much for watcihng! The finished squares are 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" ❤️
I see you from Gijón a little town in northern Spain. I love the way you make and share your beautiful visual diaries.
Hello! Thank you very much for stopping by! 😊

I have those threads your using, they are heavy but beautiful thankyou
I don’t know what sashiko is; looks like a kind of embroidery but I love what you made! I’d love to try it!
I’m also in Canada, and I love the meaning in your channel name.
Thank you for watching! Sashiko is used for mending and strengthen clothes but they can be enjoyed like embroidery! ❤️
Amazon US has Sewline pens in white. Thanks for posting. Well done!
oh! I will look into that! Thank you for letting me know! 😊
I really love that book, would you happen to have a link to it by chance?
Precioso el sashiko, no lo conocia quiero probar, intentare encontrar materiales en la red, gracias kiko por tus bonitos videos, son inspiradores❤
Thank you for watching! You don't need much to start sashiko and there's a lot of resources online to help you get started and enjoy the craft! 😊
Very beautiful fabrics
I live in Australia but travel to Japan every couple of years . I love Sashiko and wondering the name of the book is . Looks amazing
Hi. Happy to watch your videos. We must create our space of joy. I do this too. Thank you for sharing. Best wishes!
Thank you very much for watching! 😊
Thank you very much for watching! Sometimes its hard to find certain items locally in stores. I do try to find them locally before looking online. 😊
Bonito todo

Yes! Definitely! I wouldn't want it on the kitchen counter or dining table. Hope I can enforce that! 😊
When the Sashiko is finished, what projects do make out of them?
You can treat it as a patterned fabric...which you can turn into dish towels, coasters, placemats, bags, pouches, decor piece, garments, etc. Anything that you can make with a regular fabric! 😊

Do you have a video on how you made your needle holder
Yes I do! I have one for the pin cushion and one for the needle holder book. Both videos are a few weeks old. Please check them out on my channel! 😊

Thank you very much for watching! 😊
do you have any suggestions for kits? I would love to try sashiko.
There's some really nice ones on Etsy! Some including threads or without. 😊
Where did you get your wooden thread bobbins? They are beautiful
I cannot mention a store name but will say there is one that advertises a lot out here and they have all sorts of things including bobbins. In fact, that may be where she purchased hers.
I got them from a Etsy seller. I think her shop name is called youaretheunique 😊
Your work is very beautiful. Where can I order the book pattern? Thank you
Thank you for watching!
