I have been enjoying watching your sasiko videos. I do product reviews for Amazon and got a Sasiko kit. As I looked through everything, I realized even though I had never done any I knew I could have written better instructions from what I have read about it. You covered sashiko so very well and proved to me that I was right. Now I need to try it and practice this technique. I like all the many hand sewing things that we can do to beautify our lives. Thank you so much.
Watching this video makes me feel that I can do it and that I want to do it! Thank you. I love your designs and your gentle, relaxed way of showing us.
I'm so thrilled to try this. I have linen fabric comin from Amazon. I was going to,order traditional Japanese sashiko embroidery fabric but I am a poor 74 yr old lady who cannot afford 31 US dollars for 10 yards of fabric which I will never ever use all of it. Yes I could give to my daughter upon my death but she has severe RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS and she will not do this type of embroidery or any type for that matter
Hi, I always encourage people to use whatever they have in the house. Linen and cotton are great fabrics to stitch on and are good for the environment. Have fun with your new projects!

I been really enjoying your videos! I'm assembling the supplies to try my first sashiko project. The threads I'm finding offer a light, medium and heavy weight. Which weight would you recommend for the thin cotton like you're using in the video? thanks
You definitely can. Just remember: sashiko thread is designed to be durable, breathable, and water-absorbent. It also blends into the fabric quite well. Choose based on your project needs! 🧵💪
Omg you are phenomenal so glad I found your channel. Where do we get the pattern because you click on it and it’s not there. Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us. Fan for life hello from Ohio
Utterly gorgeous for something that looks so simple. Much respect. Although I am watching your videos to learn basic mending, it's also so relaxing to see, and the music is inspired.
