I had to smile this morning when your video came on. I was working on hexagons for a quilt I am making. Felt like I was stitching along with a friend! Really do love your videos, they are so lovely. You’re the kind of person I would want as a friend. We share so many common interests. I just watched your travel journal set up video a couple of days ago and was really taken with the style of it. I love stationary and planners and was really intrigued with this style of notebook, so I followed your link and got myself a journal and some accessories.! It was fun to see you covering that again today. The smaller passport style is very charming and would be great for taking in your bag like you are. I swear I was just on the same wavelength. Can’t wait till I get mine! Now I’m thinking about a bag because I know that leather cover could get scuffed up. I love how yours turned out! Oh, and Blackberry is absolutely darling. When will you be getting your kitty? I’ve had them my whole life and every cat is different. I currently have a long haired, fluffy, gray and white tuxedo, cat. He is a chonky boy and is very sweet and lovey. I’ve often had black cats. They’re probably my most favorite.
Thank you very much for watching! I'm so glad to hear that!! ❤️ I don't know anyone that I can share my hobbies and interests with so it makes me happy to be able to share them here! We're planning to adopt a cat sometime this year.😊
Amo todos seus videos.posso passar horas vendo.Tudo oque voce faz e lindo.Tambem faço patckwork,os tecidos sao meu hobby.obrigada por subir seus videos❤❤❤❤❤
Good evening Kiko, another lovely video. Thank you. I thought Blackberry very cute and the name is so in keeping with her colour. Your sewing today was lovely. The hexagons, as you say, always look so lovely together and give a neat finish. I love your new travellers notebooks. The way they are wrapped makes them a joy to open. As well as watching someone open. Yes, once you compared the two covers I could see your new one was a dark olive colour. Your snack was very delicious looking. I so could have shared that with you. I enjoy food with some spice to it. The weather, unlike yours, is not hot with me. More like autumn in the feel of it. Very difficult to know what to wear. The darker, rainier days make me feel more tired andsleepy than normal and not so enthusiastic to get up early for extra crafty time. I am missing the lovely early morning sun. However, I just go with what my body tells me it wants to do with regards sleeping patterns. This week I have done some more organising and labelling of crafty bags. As well as sorting out a yarn box. It is surprising how much is in there as it is only an A4 sized box. I think I need to make some more pom poms and do some more mini weaving. Since your last video I have been doing some paper crafting and water colour painting. Following a little on line course I am taking. Very relaxing and nothing too taxing. I have also been colouring some FPP patterns. I only have a black and white printer. So send off the front copies for colour printing and colour my printed areas. I plan to make a start on some FPP next week. So hope to be able to update you with that in your next video Kiko. I hope you have some cooler weather ahead. Do take care of yourself and hopefully you will manage some lovely crafting time. With thanks as always for your lovely calming video and take care until next time. :)
Thank you very much for watching as always! Sometimes when its a little more gloomy outside its hard to find motivation to do things and I think its ok to just go with the flow and take it easy. Organizing craft supplies is a lot of fun! I love going through my storage boxes, tidying up and seeing how much room I have left for potentially new supplies. 😅 I've made it a habit to not buy more than I can fit in the designated storage boxes. It's always nice to do more laidback crafting and art like watercolor painting. I find it very calming 😊 I'm happy to hear you're keeping busy with your hobbies but very relaxed! Happy crafting and take care!
I only recently discovered your channel & really enjoy your crafting & sewing videos. I too sew, quilt & garden. Also, enjoy cooking & baking. When you mentioned you’re enjoying Mexican foods I immediately wanted to share one of my favorite chefs on UA-cam- Rick Bayless! He’s an American chef who specializes in traditional Mexican cruising. Although he’s authored many cookbooks, he shares his recipes on his UA-cam channel cooking most of the time at his home.
Thank you very much for watching! Yes! I've been enjoying Mexican food a lot lately! Thank you for introducing chef Rick Bayless's UA-cam channel! I will definitely check it out! ❤️
Love your Patchwork Project, it takes time, but relax ... with your good choice of Background music!!! I do love hexagon , but make a lot pincushions only....
Very nice. I am working on a hexagon quilt right now, the kind where you put batting in each one. You probably wouldn't like it, I don't use muted colors like you. Mine is all floral fabrics, I'm trying to make it look like a garden. I am sewing it all by hand. My fingers are sore because I won't stop haha, it's too fun.
my dear *kiko* 🌼 I always pray that you always health and happy 🙏🏻 with all your dearest family 💕 thank you so much for always inspiring us 🌟 my little happiness when I see your healing life 🤗
I love your videos. They’re so relaxing and at my old age you teach me so much. Thank you. I loved the bag/cover you made to protect your book. Beautiful 😍
I Loved seeing your pretty hexagon pouch come to life! I am currently doing some hexagons at the moment and I also really enjoy stitching them too. Your fabrics are beautiful! Thank You for sharing. I enjoyed seeing your brother in laws kitty who is very sweet. I have a kitty that is very pretty and she is really cute but naughty she has blue eyes that make her look so innocent but she is not lol.
Exquisite! ❤😊… I’m pretty sure there is another term for what you are calling “Patchwork”…. I’ve seen quilts made like this being called “English Paper Piecing…. No matter what it is called, it’s wonderful! 😊
Congratulations on your channel. You do an excellent job of not rushing the video. Thank you! I love your content; please keep posting. And will you share your nail polish choices? (I also prefer something that may be found in nature.)
I just love paper piecing! This was so inspiring - even though I have far too many WIPs to start something new, I just might have to raid my scrap stash...
Eu estou amando seus vídeos.🌻 Gostaria muito de aprender a costurar a mão, pra que meus pontos fique bons. Obrigada por compartilhar. Um dia feliz para você.🌷
Very lovely, video and patchwork. I like english paper piecing, although I never tried it. Here in Northern Italy is very hot too... around 35-36 C and going to get even worse next week. Have a nice day!
I reall do enjoy watching your videos. I know you used the hexagons in one of your earlier videos and I just wanted to know the size. The strips looked like they were just under an inch. I was thinking of getting back into patchwork and you have inspired to do so. I enjoy it more than making clothes where I have been struggling with in the sense of when too many enough?😃
Blackberry is so cute!! I love how the bag was a continous pattern and even the bottom! When you cut the fabric for the lining do you cut it a bit smaller than the pouch?
He is really cute and sweet! For the lining, the length is the same but I made the width (side) 0.5" wider (0.25" for the seam) because the patchwork sides are continuous and the lining is not. After I sewed the lining sides together, the width is the same as the patchwork and I was able to sew the tops together. 😊
Thank you for a relaxing and inspirational video! So neat! I liked and subscribed. Did you cut your own hexies? If you didn’t, would you share source to purchase? I am yet to make my 1st paper piecing project, just trying to get materials together. Take care. 🌸tess
Thank you very much for watching and subscribing! I made the hexagons on photoshop, printed them out, and hole punched each one. There's hexagon stencils, rubber stamps, and pre-cut templates that you can get online as well! 😊
New sub here, your crafting area looks calm and well kept. You work through the steps with gracious ease, very admirable. A while back I purchased a hexagon project kit from Kate on UA-cam @thelasthomelyhouse, love her channel too. I hope to start her kit soon.
Oh my goodness...I hope you can stay cool somehow! Ours is not that hot this time but we've had one like that few years back and it was really bad....it caused power outage around the city..😩
Thank you very much for watching! It's just my personal preference, I like earthy and muted tones. 😊 In my previous video I did a Q&A while doing sashiko. I answered a question about my color choices. If you are interested, please check it out!
Thank you very much for watching! I used the original notebook pouch as a reference for size and lined up the hexagon pieces with it and it came to 8 rows of 10. 😊

You're so neat and careful when you create. It looks like a bomb has gone off, or I got kidnapped, and there was a struggle by the time I finished. 😂
😂 I know if I don't try to keep things tidy, it will easily get out of hand. It has happened far too many times...lol
