Ficou muito lindo! Parabéns!
Ciao Kiko al prossimo video 🎉
I just love watching you make beautiful, useful things. It inspires me. Thank you. ❤
The thimble looks great! I’ve been eying your previous one and thinking of making one but not quite sure how to, so thank you for sharing the making-of. ❤
I really like your choices of colors on all your projects Kiko. They're very soothing and warm and Mochi blends in perfectly. She is becoming such a beautiful cat and I am a huge kitty lover. 🐾. I have been without internet service for a couple of days but was very happy to see a new video from you once it came back on. Thank you for making my day!😊
You should be a graphic designer, your drawings are so perfect. You must have incredible eyesight and see things perfectly. So precise!
I love the colors and your fabric , can’t wait to see what you do next.
Lovely❤
Is there a reason you did the pieces of th thimble individually instead of just sandwiching the 2 pieces of card with the fabric and then just sewing the fabric like you would regularly see two pieces together? Or was this just a different way to do it?
❤VIVE KIKO SABI ! ❤
Thank you from France ! I bought a sashiko book thanks to you... I didn't know this type of art ! And thank you for the ring !! You changes our sewing life Kiki Sabi. ❤ Really... Now its impossible for me embroydering or sewing without your vidéos... Even if i.dont watch while im sewing, i know you are sewing with us ! As if you were close ! With Mochi !!! We lov you ! Really ❤
Hi Kiko, I love the wide variety of colored threads u have for sashiko. The ones you show in the clear boxes and the ones in spools. Could uoi share what they are and where to buy them? I don’t live in Japan and it’s quite expensive to buy proper sashiko thread
Mochi is getting big!
More beautiful items. I’m surprised that Mochi didn’t want to play with the stuffing. Please tell us where you buy your fabric? The fabric you used to stitch the pincushion didn’t even fray!
Always enjoy the garden, your (painstaking, meticulous) crafting, cooking, snacks, and, of course, Mochi! All so soothing with the background "ballet class" piano music.
the coin was ingenious, although I'm sure it made your prior thimble heavier than the new one w/cardboard will be!! I adore the fabric you chose for your pincushion, & with the sashiko, it turned out too cute. I enjoy everything you do, so am looking forward to seeing your new desktop mat. Here's to warmer days to work in the garden soon!! 😍
I love your dishcloths but how big are thy? In other words how many rows of front and back post double crochet did you do?
💐x
Its nice i love it.
Love the items you made today. The thimble is very nice.
Leuke dingen heb je gemaakt🤗dankjewel voor het delen 🙏🍀groetjes uit Nederland 🇳🇱
Beautiful stitching. You are so talented. 🙋🏼♀️🇦🇺
Beautiful stitching. You are so talented. 🙋🏼♀️🇦🇺
Beautiful video - I love your sashiko pin cushion - your running stitches are so even. Can you please tell me - is that a linen fabric and DMC eco vita wool?♥
We always just plant cat grass, nip, etc, is what we call an azalea pot. It is wide and sort of shallow. Our cats love to lay in the stuff. We found this our years ago when we first planted it in a 12” pot. They constantly laid in it. This is why we went to a wider, more shallow pot. They are so funny sleeping in it and rolling around in it. We did not plant it in the ground since it is part of the mint family. She will have such a good time when it starts coming up. We also have to plant several pots. Thank you for your videos. They are enjoyable and informative
Hi from Canberra Australia. Sashiko enjoys great popularity here. ❤
Another beautiful video, thank you
Beautiful 😊❤
🌹🌹🌹
ME ENCANTA!!!😊
Thank you for sharing this wonderful tutorial ❤️
Looks great! I made a lot of those pin cushions (they are called Biscornu) and you could stuff them a bit more :) I'm always surprised how much stuffing you can get in those little projects :)
That pincushion is too precious to use!
The pincushion style is called biscournu which i believe is french. I've made larger ones as pillows with embroidery on top. I like the sashiko look! Blessings!!
😻😻😻😻😻 The Pin Cushion turned out beautifully! Looking forward to the next episode.🤸🤸♂🤸♂
❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing the thimble making. This will definitely save on pokes. 😊
Beautiful things 😍😍
Thank you so much for watching! ❤️
Hello Kiko, I just love your videos. I’m inspired to try Sashiko for myself. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work and adorable Mochi with us. Today the beautiful boxes for your scraps and your sewing tools caught my eye. Please can you tell me what they are called and where I might find them or something as beautiful? Again thank you for your videos. They bring me joy and relaxation and inspiration. ❤
Thank you so much for watching! 😊 The Japanese lacquerwares are from my mother in law. They are originally meant to hold food items but I'm repurposing them to hold my craft supplies. I'm not sure where she got them from.
@ thank you for your reply! Wow, I looked up lacquerware, so beautiful! It’s a lovely repurposing, great idea.
That is exactly like Mochi!! 😂
I loved this video very much. I will be making the thimble and another pin cushion and add sashiko on it. Yours is so beautiful and inspiring. I’m looking forward to your new mat and seeing if you will machine or hand stitch. 💕💕
Thank you so much for watching! I'm looking forward to making the mat. It's gonna be a lot of fun. 😊
That's really nice!! It's a nice feeling to be able to make something that you enjoy and like! I hope your friend will cherish the case you're making her! 😊
Bless Mochi😻 Love the needle cushion! Can’t wait for the next episode to see how the desk surface ends up!❤
Thank you so much! I'm expecting the desk mat to take a while to complete but I'm looking forward to making it! 😊
@ Definitely. A king sized quilt took me 4 1/2 months. But you’re working with tiny ones, adds more time. 😊
Thank you very much for watching! For subtitles, please turn on CC and under settings, select Auto-Translate. There should be a list of available languages that you can choose from. ✨
I made the same-style pin cushion, but a big one, like the one that fits in the lacquer bowl you transferred your scraps to. I needed a cover because I didn't want our furry thief to pull out the pins. And hide all rubberbands. She stole it from two bottles I banded together. The bottles were on the floor but we couldn't find the rubberband. My other daughter's cat ate a whole bunch and had to get it surgically removed. You know the idiom about curious cats, it's true. They get into everything. I can't wait for your next project and to see if Mochi will eat the grass. If it works I may purchase one.
Mochi likes to steal things too. I'm always worried she might swallow something she shouldn't. She's training me to be more mindful of the things I leave out and to put things away right away. 😅
❣️Me encanta el sashiko pero no se como hacer los patrones. Es hermoso y elegante 😊
Thank you so much for watching! I have sashiko books that I use for patterns. It's a little more work than pre-printed cloths but its more customizable. 😊
