Destroy All Guitars and Doug Rappoport present the Reeves Super '78
Recorded with an SM57 into an MBox 2 into Pro Tools. Delays, EQs (just a little on the Master Fader)and compression added in post.

Had to come back for more of this... Besides the amazing guitar playing, it's hard to believe this amp gets these tones without drive pedals.

Everything bonamassa plays sounds the same. There’s no denying his skill but.......he’s a bit boring. Plus his voice is so ‘try hard’ in my opinion.

As a longtime Guitar player, I think you are one of the most tasteful soloist out there. I also like smoking Joe and I notice both of you guys use similar pentatonic phrasing ( Eric Johnson influence maybe ). You also incorporate sweeping. Very tasteful soloing.
The problem I have with a guy like you demoing gear = G.A.S. You make all the gear sound so good that now I don't know what to buy.

Excellent playing! As always from Doug. A bit too much overdrive in this amp's pre-amp for me, but diggin' Doug's playing as always.
You have to try the new Landry M100L. It is supposed to be more Dumbley. Between the Landry's and a few of the Reeves I am having a hard time deciding which I want next.

+MegaMoose777 Thanks, man!!! The Landry is a more "Marshall" style amp. The Reeves is its own thing.. Not exactly Marshally.... but has its own upper-mid voicing that is unique... and cool! A bit more grind and front end- distortion.

Could you recommend some fuzz pedal taht gives sound similar to sound at beginning? really really really big fan !!!
Don't really know Fuzz pedals that well. Analogman makes a Sun Face Fuzz that is true to-vintage pedal. also check out BOSS. Super Fuzz s a cool
pedal and isn't finicky about where it sits in the chain.
