great video Derek! I would like to see a video about the front row width, how to adjust it and what effects it comes with. is there, for example, a difference in the sizes of the fusee (between narrow and wide) or can I just place rings that are on the inside on the outside?

Hey Jordy, thanks for tuning in bro. Great suggestion! are you talking about the front track width and moving the wheel in or out?

Hey, what would you recommend if you feel like there is too much travel on the throttle? I’ve noticed when I’m driving, my boot starts to ride up the heel rest at full throttle so when braking, I have to make sure my heel comes back and sits correctly on the heel rest otherwise I run the risk of inadvertently carrying throttle into the braking zone? Any tips?

And don't forget to check for throttle cable stretch after the first stint on track and adjust as needed.

Hey Mate, all good, you'll be fine. maybe contact your local club race secretary and tell them.. they might be able to pair you up with another competitor dad and he can help you through the first meeting.

I put a plastic tube around where the cable goes around the accelerator pedal that will stop fraying at that point

Hello, So I'm new to gokarting and I've been wondering how tight my throttle cable should be on my tonykart nordix
Could you please shed some light on this for me?

its better for me if there is some slack at the pedal so when we go around corners that are bumpy we don't knock the throttle on with our heel by accident. if yo dont have this problem then you can keep it firm.

Hello, my Tonykart has 3 different loops for putting the accelerator cable, I couldn't figure out what is the difference between the 3. Can you shed some light ?

    • @PowerRepublic

Hey Filipe, they are short medium and long travel settings. the higher you go, the shorter travel the A pedal has till full throttle.

@@PowerRepublic so I think I’ll prefer the top one. I’m small driver and I have difficult reaching the full throttle! This is very helpful. Thanks
