One is an accident. The other is on purpose, and you are obstructing other skaters. Why is that so hard for you people to understand? Also, most places will have different lanes for beginners to experienced skaters.
Y’all must have not been skating long or are young. I go skating all the time. Kids are going to be there and they are going to make mistakes and get wild. Do two things: either go on adult night, the skate park or learn to skate.

At most we have an adult song where only adults can skate for like 3 mins but where I’m from 80% of skaters are adults so that’s crowded too. My skates can’t be used outdoors. I’m looking to buy some skates for outdoors but park skating is not in my interest. You can say we’re inexperienced or to go skate somewhere else all you want, but I personally can dodge 99% of skaters- it only takes one reckless kid (or adult) going too fast and not looking where they’re going to ruin your day, not that I let it ruin mine. You act like we aren’t allowed to discuss annoying things. They’re allowed to be there and so are we. Don’t tell us to go away. That’s just toxic behaviour and makes skating exclusive.

8 : Don't swerve through people at high speeds. I once fell back because someone swerved through me and my friends. Was not a fun night. At all. Had to sit out the rest of the time. If you're going at high speeds, swerve a couple feet back 9: Don't fall backwards when you're purposefully falling. You're gonna have to get used to falling on your knees. Please. I almost rammed into a kid and dropped on my knees literally a foot away from her, usually people just forcibly fall back but it's a lot safer to fall on your knees if you're about to run into anyone. 10: DONT PUT YOUR KIDS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RINK AND FUCKING LEAVE THEM AND THEN GET MAD WHEN THEY FALL OR SOMEONE REMOVES THEM FROM THE RINK AND BRINGS THEM TO STAFF.
You sound like a Karen if everyone followed the rules you wouldn’t have this problem if your a beginner you should be in the middle and if you plan on going slow don’t stay near the walls or try to make wide turns at the ends the outer most part of the rink is for people going faster who have to take wider turns but typically scared people are always there

and follow the flow of everyone, if they’re going clockwise, don’t go the other way, there are often signs telling you which way to go, don’t ignore them, it’s annoying and dangerous

Im a not even an adult, and i know every single, one of these some other stuff I suggest [1:] Do not go straight to wall when you are exiting. You might make someone fall. Better to slow down and wait for them to pass then exit. [2:] Do not stand in the middle. Someone might run into you, and it's annoying. [3:] Try not to cut if you go through the middle. you're most likely gonna get cut off or fall. [4:] When you are going fast try to stay a foot away from everyone, or you can go the long way and not turn immediately better to let the speed run out so then your at a good pace. [5:] DO NOT be on your phone. You might trip or fall into the ground, and it does not feel good. [6:] If you fall down more than 6+ times. When you're done skating, expect some pain wherever you hit yourself. [7:] DO NOT bully people exceptionally when they have a guard/Skate mate or whatever you call it [8:] DO NOT take the guard/Skate mate away from them its, really annyoing and they might avoid you from then. [9:] If you're gonna talk to your friends DO NOT do it in the rink or the walls better to do it near the tables or the benches [10:] Do not lean on the walls in the rink its annyoing and can cause accidents with other skaters. [11:] Try not to be close with others skaters try to be a foot away from them to be safe and not cause any accidents. what about being in a group of ten people all holding hands taking up the entire skate floor. i understand they’re having fun and we all did it when we weee younger while hanging out with friends, but it becomes a block and people can’t get around. leaves major risk for injuries, especially for those of us who speed skate lol.
Another rule to add. Do Not be on your phone while skating. Was helping my son skate and a teen about my height was too busy paying attention to his phone and crashed right into us. Thankfully his phone broke after falling so he wasn't able to continue playing on it.
My mom used to work at a rink, owned by her best friends and their parents, and I was really annoying. Sadly, the rink shut down because the ceiling was collapsing, and they didn’t have enough money to repair it. It’s now a storage shed.

Anyway they ended up falling and having a hard time getting up even with my help and we were in the way of some people, I pulled her out of the way to help her up and the owner of the place, who was some old guy, comes and starts yelling at us and wouldn’t let me explain that my friend fell and I was trying to help
At my roller rink they play any song and the dj just plays the clean versions of inappropriate ones. Also I feel like laying on the floor would result in ending up with your fingers or legs getting run over-
The fact they filmed this at the place, I normally rollerskate, and it blew up 😭 (the place is called forest family fun center you should go it's amazing!)
when i was like 8 my best friend's step dad owned my local skate rink so i got free food, got to go to the vip and staff only rooms and got to tell the dj what to play next.
I once had to climb over a wall in rollerblades to get help from the employees because some dude decided not to use his brakes nor watch where he was going. He crashed into my then four-year-old sister and lay on her, laughing. She ended up breaking her arm, and nobody would help. We ended up getting banned for breaking the rules and causing a scene.
My kid does all of these but in all fairness they've known her her whole life, we're like family, she is respectful and always stays safe, and we pretty much live there.

I can confirm my dummass was holding another friend's hand and all hell went lose so we both sat it out until we left

You can pick up dirt and small gravel outside. The your wheels bring it inside to dirty pr potentially damage the wood floor.

when i was like 8 my best friend's step dad owned my local skate rink so i got free food, got to go to the vip and staff only rooms and got to tell the dj what to play next.
I once had to climb over a wall in rollerblades to get help from the employees because some dude decided not to use his brakes nor watch where he was going. He crashed into my then four-year-old sister and lay on her, laughing. She ended up breaking her arm, and nobody would help. We ended up getting banned for breaking the rules and causing a scene.
