I could legit watch your videos all day!! I love building bikes wish I had all the fancy tools tho I just go to my local shop and use there tools and build my bikes. I've been going to the same shops for 16years so they are like my family.
Damn you do some neat bikes up man. I just bought one I really really like and I’ll start to mod it soon, plus I made an aero disc for my Yes bike for like $20 and it looks damn cool! Gotta love an all black bike too, looks so cool! Your building style is damn good man.
Hot tip to tension your chain.....get a rubber door stop and wedge it between rear tire and frame. Give it a little peddle to tighten and wallah! Tighten your bolts down.
Thanks bro!! Yeah it can definitely slow you down a bit if your wizzing between cars but luckily for where I live there’s not really a whole lot of traffic with narrow gaps, so I can get away with it for the most part
Front wheel is solid axle so no you can’t use a quick release on it without changing the axle. And the rear wheel is double sided fixed, you can however get flip/flop hubs that will accommodate a free wheel
How did you do the back wheel? Just remove the freehub and screw on a gear and lockring? Does it mean that all wheels with a screw on hub can be converted to a fixed wheel?
These are track/fixed gear specific wheels that are designed for just fixed gear cogs. Fixed gear thread is also different to freewheel thread in terms that it has two 'steps' of thread with the locking thread being opposite thread. You can't really use a geared free hub for fixed gear unfortunately!
Good spotting🙂 I just recently got some sample stickers made so hopefully I’ll have them for sale in the next month or so. I’ll let you know when I do!!
How could I get into building bikes in some way without breaking the bank? I honestly like building custom bikes more than I like riding them, so it would be awesome to be able to do them without costing myself money. I even work at a bike shop which is quite helpful. I love your videos man you’re killing it!
thanks my bro. I appreciate the kind words! Working in a bike shop has got to be the best position to start. Assuming that you can get parts at the trade prices, you're going to save a lot of money. And the access to tools and a workshop is another major benefit. Another thing, which is what I did when I started working on bikes, is just keeping all your old parts and bikes. That should give you the ability to swap parts around and have spare parts to make new build cheaper. Working in a bike shop sounds perfect as you might be able to build custom bikes for customers and you'll get paid to do so! sounds like a win win to me
Hey! This is custom built so would be hard to buy the exact same bike but could build one similar. Message me on Instagram or email and I might be able to help you out!
Nice build. I have the same Mavic Ellipse wheelset. When installed on my frame, The rear wheel seems to drag like the bearings are pitching and wheel does not spin smoothly/freely. Don't seem to have the same issue. Do you have any idea of what my issue could be? Thanks!
from where did you get all your stuff, i frame and so on.I think it is so cool to be able to make a bicycle like this myself, so I would like to try it.would you like to forward the site where all your parts come from please?
Nice job and tight riding skills👌👌 I was wondering can you remove the wheel without undoing the chain? It seems like you set it up pretty deep into the rear dropouts 🤔
@@waveywheelies I don’t know actually. Isn’t it supposed to be better? Most higher end bikes have em for some reason I believe. Does it even make a difference?
Nope, that’s the way it’s designed. It’s the same as the sram pc1 chains. You have to slightly bend the link in and it snaps on, so the outward pressure keeps it locked on. If that makes sense
I love how you always ride your every build it just gives the soul of it
So glad you rode it at the end there. I always hate bike builds with no ride or at least a follow up video😂😂 like CMON WE WANNA SEE THE BABY ROLL!!!
Always my bro, gotta test the beast out!
At 3:23 u got me! Of all the techniques used for grips...yours was THE most ingenious
Beautifully done, just love fixed gears
Thank you!
Very cool build and an awesome looking bike I also love the ziptie trick to get the grips on easier.so cool
Thanks man!! Yeah It’s a neat little trick, less messy than hairspray/etc and you don’t have to wait for it to dry 👍
liked the final edit, you're improving your editing skills, keep it up!
I thought I’d change it up a bit, thanks! Appreciate the feedback bro 🤙
This one came out extra clean! Great job on the ending edit 👍 I’d love to see you build up a Steamroller!

Awesome handlebars!
I don't know why I watch this,I ride SS ! I stopped riding fixed gear long time ago! 🤣
that grip method 🤯

Interesting method of grip installation. You not a fan of the isopropyl alcohol or hairspray method?

Can you build dosnoventa huston?
If I can get my hands one!
loved it man. do you ever find that the big ol bars are too wide for riding thru traffic?
Thanks bro!! Yeah it can definitely slow you down a bit if your wizzing between cars but luckily for where I live there’s not really a whole lot of traffic with narrow gaps, so I can get away with it for the most part
I have a question about the wheel-set. The front wheel can be use with a quick release? And also the rear wheel it’s fixed only or can be free wheel?
Front wheel is solid axle so no you can’t use a quick release on it without changing the axle. And the rear wheel is double sided fixed, you can however get flip/flop hubs that will accommodate a free wheel
how much money do you spend on average on a project like that? great job bro!
About 100$
@@asylbekbekmurzaev6098 lol where do you get these parts that cheap. For example a frame like this. Let me know, I'd be interested

that bb so smooth like buttah
So clean how did you find a dodici man I’ve been looking for so long
Saw it pop up locally for sale so I had to grab it!
Just cracked the chainstay on mine... I'm so heartbroken. Best bike I've ever had and I'm not sure I'll ever find another.
They just stole mine 😢 really the best bike i had
@@benjaminsmith8030 dam how did you manage that?
@@robmalo6087 sorry to hear bro! I’m actually selling this frameset if your keen?
it seems so cool 🔥
How tight should the bottom bracket be and what do you do if the crank gets tight as you tighten the bottom bracket into the frame?
Bb’s have different torque ratings, you can usually find them online

but men why only riser bar
It feels me satisfied🥴
🙂
What is your go to square taper for builds like this?
Don't really have a go to, depends on the crankset really. Have used a few Tange ones on mid range cranks and they seem sweet for their price
Love me a ww sticker 🤩
nice build! i desperately need a new 170 crankset... if you ever wanna get rid of one, i'm your guy! ;)
Thanks man! they aren't hard to find, depending on where you live, I suppose.. but ill let you know :)
what size is the handlebar?
If u go that fast how u meant to stop?
What are the Mavic ellipse wheels like
They are solid! nice wheels but I personally prefer traditional J bend spoked wheels
Do you sell these bikes after you build them?
The ellipse rear is 15's? And it's new stuff?
16t cog, not sure what you mean by 15's??
@@waveywheelies I mean that rear is made in 2015?

Funn Kingpin bro, bike specs are in the description!
Where do you buy your framesets from?
All over really, local marketplaces, bike shops etc
