Casually tells it not to install drivers. Casually uses the file on the drive being formatted (wiped). You can simply read the image file from the SSD you already had the image on. When it says partitioning, that means first it is shrinking the macOS partition, then it creates a new partition to install the other OS to. It doesn't delete the drive or make it so you can only put one OS on it.

Fun! I used to dual boot my 2017 MacBook Air, but sold it for my 2020 MacBook Pro... it was a great laptop
I did this same thing on my 2011 macbook pro but with windows 11 which was obviously alot harder

get opencore u can run the latest mac os on any unsupported mac
