Heres the barcode number on the sticker for anyone asking 731161059506
does the original big box that comes with the wheels fit on the drawers if you choose to have the drawers on the bottom?
I’ve been waiting so long for these to come out.
I was looking for information about if they were waterproof or not, and your video was the only thing that came up. Thanks!
I found it today, it was in a cardboard box, on the very top shelf they did not have it on display. My Home Depot had 4 of them. It only came with 1 set of dividers.
Was it up in the overstock in the tool aisle or somewhere else in the store?
@@iwriteonshit It was on the shelf above the other toolboxes(they had to get the lift to get it down). I have not seen them again. They never put them on display.
I'm excited. Thank you. Not in my store yet but looking forward to them.
Daaaaym! I didn't see this at the store today. I just got the Cart with Box and the tool box to start. But definitely keep my eye open for that. I absolutely love this system though. I couldn't afford the Milwaukee stuff but even so price to quality the Rigid hit the spot. Still have plenty of space even with 7 power tools and clamps in the bottom box. Very nice system. Thanks for sharing the video
Thank You!!!!! Ive been trying for a month, and watched 5 videos just now. Not a single person would say the price
Thanks for the video and the water test. Can't wait for these to make it my Home Depot.
Thanks for watching.
Good thorough review and steady camera work.
Thank you for all the details!
Update. I finally found one. For some reason it doesn't come up as available at local Home Depot. I found it in stock. . It's a 3 drawer, and it's well made. I found it too heavy for my taste and returned it . Wish i can try the smaller 2 drawers and see if it works for me. Thanks for the review.
Looks like a nicely made toolbox 🙂👍 Nice job with the review. Hope things are going well 🔧🔩
Finally came in at my local Home Depot. Was a treasure hunt ,😅 not on floor ! Luckily their websight said 3 in stock after checking dailey. I drove over as soon as I confirmed were in stock ..
You know, HD is horrible about product releases. I didn't even know these were out until I just saw your video right now. I have been hoping for a Ridgid drawer system and here it is. I have gone all in on the Pro Gear 2.0 and just need the drawers to complete my box set for now. I have some Milwaukee Packout boxes, but the price, and believe it or not, the weight of their boxes moved me to go completely with Ridgid. Don't get me wrong, if I had a business that I could write off the added expens of the Milwaukee I would. But, I am a DIY'er/sometime family/friends handyman and the Ridgid system works well for me.
Yea I'm not sure who's in charge of getting the word out at HD about their product releases but they definitely need help.
I bought one and then returned it. The drawer case empty is 23 lbs. I like my cases to be less than 50 lbs. This case uses half that weight just for the case. I returned the drawer case.
I love my gen 1 cases. At Home Depot's black Friday sale the 3 case stacks were $100 to $120. I have bought 3 stacks and some extra cases and baskets. The RIDGID cases are great.
I been waiting for this
Nice compatible to my og ridgid system that I already have
Milwaukee is nice but don't really need all the accessories. What's nice about Ridgid though is the latch system is so simple you can mod pretty much anything to work with it. I might make a 3 leaf fold out table top since I often use my stack for a work stand.
Everyone else, including myself, is getting dividers for only one shallow drawer - not both. I picked up 2 of these.
Good to know
That is a nice tool box , I have been looking at the Dewalt
DeWalt had a nice box also. Better than the Milwaukee in my opinion
I agree with you on that
Mee2. I checked the other two on display and they also had one set in a plastic sleeve on top shelf.
Saw it on the web page went to a hd where it said there was stock, none there. Now we site does not show anything. Hopefully they will get some more in.
just picked mine up from the local HD- I was selfish and grabbed 2 of 3 they had in store
These are really close to perfect. I want a drawer set that weather seals
I live in PA and none.of the home depots have them, and they are not for sale on the website ?
Nowhere on the internet but here. Crazy. Must be some kind of parallel dimension leak.
Ha.
Hey, thanks for the video man. Only got one set of dividers with both of my 3 drawer boxes. So I need two sets of shallow dividers. If anyone knows the SKU number for that let me know. I’ll need to order a couple. Thanks!
I keep searching on Home Depot and I can't find it even listed as existing. Can you add a link in the description for where you found this. I really like the look of those boxes

Thank you I will look for them next time I am in there.@@Grumpyskater
Thank you for the link@@MotorCityMetalArt
Wish this was available in Canada ☹️
Bought mine in San Bernardino Ca. 119.00... here my biggest complaint. The top seems to be removable. Top slide is flush. Either that or I'm not lifting hard enough?
Why it on their website where you can purchase it
that is a fair price compared to others
Little surprised that they didn’t get this stuff out a month ago, before Xmas.
I saw one on a HD shelf on the 24th.
Can someone tell me how can I buy this in Virginia! I can’t find it and I need for my truck cap
Where are y'all finding these? They arent on HD's website yet and two of my local stores in the ATL outskirts say they never heard of this product.
They just happened to have them they didn't even have a spot on the shelf or a price anywhere
Have to search high above the shelves or rafters either in the NO HOME section or NEW PRODUCT. Not sure why they are not on the shelves but each store should have 2-4 units
Do you know if they will be getting in other Ridgid drawers in like the 2 or 4 drawers?
I don't but I hope they expand on this.
I was looking to ad draws to my Ridgid Pro Gear 1.0 stack, have a bunch of pieces,. I do not think this will fit on top of my old base as it seems to have a bit more depth. Oh well.
It will fit. The feet on the bottom are the same . You will have about a inch and half over hang on the front if it’s not on the bottom.
@@martytoskov6207 Thank you, very much. I guess I need to spend some money. will get the first time I see one in a store.
Home Depot is so weird with their Ridgid inventory. I waited years for the cooler to come out, it was on the shelves for a few weeks, then I never saw it again. Same thing with the little 1/2 width clear organizers. My store had one round of them on an endcap and I only grabbed 2 thinking I'd just throw a couple in the cart every time I was there for other shit but they never came back.
Brickseek might have some better intel about availability, I don't have an account tho.
Man, I know what you mean, I love the small parts organizer and had to hunt all over to get them. Over the last two years I finally have what I need. I have a total of 18 that I use for my small electronics, electrical wire nuts, various machine nuts and bolts, and many other uses.
I got one bag of dividers in mine. 3 long and 3 short.
Mee2. They planning to make extra cheese from us.
Holding out until they pair this with the rolling part of the rolling tool box.
Thanks for the review. . Why do you prefer Rigid over Milwaukee boxes?
I have both and Milwaukee is faster withdrawal.
@@cMurder2osix what do you mean by faster withdrawal?
Where are they selling them!!??
My Home Depot doesn't stock them. They pushing the other brands and I have the Rigid setup already , need drawers!!
They will soon
For 130 bucks I want it with a handle like all the rest of the box’s it doesn’t make sense that little whole on top trying to save a couple bucks thanks for the video.
Yes it is pretty stupid. I agree definitely should come with the handle.
Do you know the product number or sku? Hoping to find these in a box on the upper shelves
Item number from receipt, price, etc in my video at ua-cam.com/video/zcL_vA0N3qs/v-deo.htmlsi=41SNnVVvJ8PTsW6y

They haven't been released yet but are in stock at some stores. You would have to look on your store floor and up in the stacks.
Where can I find the Ridgid Tool Box with Drawers?
If you're lucky your home depot might have them on the shelf.
They're are lazy there, ask them to unpack it.
It is not available in my area! I really need it
It's nice, I'm grabbing few more. Feels more durable them Milwaukee.
Anybody have the item number for Home Depot store?
731161059506
Do you have the SKU numbers ?
I will get them for you.
Headed to HD today. There are 6 in my area, so I’m hopeful I can snag 3

You shouldn't use wd-40 it's not a lubricant, it was originally developed to be for the space shuttle and is for water displacement and great for cleaning stuff
It’s better as a cleaner than a lube, but for something like drawers that you probably only open a few hundred times, it’s fine, as opposed to a car or motorcycle part that moves several thousand times a minute
@@KosmicHRTRacingTeam it just attracts dust and is completely uncalled for this day and age, wd-40 makes specialist cans, there's crc and you can always use a few drops of 3n1, why use the wrong product with so many right options available?!?
Wd 40 has a dry lube
I prefer Houdini lock lube it’s really good stuff, but any dry lube.
And since these are a low use low stress item regular wd40 to clean is better than dirty bearings and better than a sticky grease that attracts dirt. Grease is best for sealed bearings, dry lube for open
I bought mine last week, it only came w ONE SET of inserts too...I think it's a miss overall bc it happened to me too. Was on all boxes at the store so....
Still happy w it, but wish they had a full set for all drawers
Can you provide outer dimensions?
22.375" Width 16" Height 15.25" Depth. These numbers are approx.
@@MotorCityMetalArt thanks! I'll be looking out for these.
***** ATTENTION*****
Went into HD this morning to grab another piece of the set. The whole line is DISCONTINUED.
I would purchase drawers if they had a handle, seems like they thought "well milwuakee didnt put a handle on theres so lets not worry about doing it better than them" which is all the drawers needed was a handle so stupit of the designers and cutting costs.
Also need a xl 2 drawer and xl 1 drawer
I am just going to say it and save any comments. How can you put a Milwaukee (King of tools) in a subpar Ridgid tool case? Lol that is not how I feel but i am sure there are some people that do.
Brand loyalty is stupid especially when the conglomerate TTI owns (Milwaukee Ridgid and Ryobi)
I own tools from each of the major manufacturers. Buy the tool for the job not just because it has a different name on the side.
@@MotorCityMetalArt Sorry but Ridgid power tools is owned by Emerson Electric Co. TTI just makes most of the tools for Ridgid. But I agree 100%. I own a lot of Ridgid, Milwaukee and a Ryobi Weed trimmer. I have had about 4 Ridgid batteries and 1 charger go bad. I have had 3 Milwaukee batteries go bad and 1 Ryobi battery. When you use your tools hard something is bound to break no matter what brand you are using. Seeing that I am invested in all 3 tool lines price now dictates my purchases.
The padlock loop is a joke. It can be broken open simply by pulling the drawer latch.
Just like any lock Just a deterrent

Will do thanks for watching
They are great but heavy. Please make a smaller one about 1/2 the size for portability in and out of apartments. The Rigid system is excellent and way more portable than Milwaukee. I've had my Rigid for years, Gen 1 and Gen 2.. I almost bought Husky today for portability and the drawers they sell, but the wheels , the box catches on steps... 🥸🤥
Good point it's definitely heavy
They need a smaller version for the middle, too heavy ..🥸
Keeps saying ,, not currently available at Home Depot websight !!??
They pushing Milwaukee. I don't like the latch system on Milwaukee, too bulky and I already have the Rigid setup 🥸
Unfortunately the links are dead. Just have to get lucky checking all the home depots. Not sure what's going on.
@MotorCityMetalArt
I finally found them online. Said 3 available at my local Home Depot . I called and asked them to hold one for me. Drove over immediately and picked up at service desk, none were on the floor . Thanks Home Depot, was a treasure hunt..😅
I just picked one up this morning. Home depot in LA off Sunset Blvd. It was still in the box, up on the racks.
