After being on sale for over 10 years, Royal Enfield has released a brand new version of their best selling bike, the Classic 350. While visually, this new Classic looks very similar to the outgoing model, it is built on RE’s J-platform that first debuted on the Meteor 350. This basically brings with it a brand new engine, a brand new frame along with new suspension as well. So it’s a very different bike underneath - one in which RE has addressed a lot of issues that plagued the earlier motorcycle.
On paper, there’s not much difference in spec though. The engine is still a 350cc single-cylinder air cooled mill, but this one uses cam-driven overhead valves as opposed to the pushrod setup from the earlier motor. Power and torque figures remain similar, but this motor has become significantly smoother at pretty much any speed. And the performance has improved drastically too. Even suspension sophistication has seen a bump up and the new bike is a lot more comfortable than ever before.

I m just curious about the seat Comfort for a long trip for dominor.how does it work out compare to himalayan.
@@animeshkumar7286 yes I have used stock seat for close to 900 km a day for 4-5 days straight ,it is comfortable
@@animeshkumar7286 riders seat is comfortable for dominar, but pillion seat comfy upto 100 km. Himalayan seats are a lot cushioned.

You should have compared a 2021 dominar with latest RE, because a lot of changes came in dominar since it was launched.

The mileage of Dominar 400 is very low comparatively. Classic has better handling than Dominar 400. Dominar 400 feels heavy while manoeuvring unlike the new Classic 350.
I can give you a secrete to get 70 kmph milage go and buy platina😂😂😂😂 foolish fellow. 😅

I feel Dominar 400 is not easy to manoeuvre. Classic handling is superb. It gives more confidence.

Brother why are you comparing 2018 model dominar with 2021 Classic model?? If you want to compare this compare the same year's model of both bike. It would be fair comparison.

Very simple, if you like a bike that will never get old go for classic. Look at dominar 1st generation it already looks out dated.

I currently have a Royal Enfield Continental GT 650. But, I will be moving to the Philippines next year, and will be looking for a new bike there. Currently, the BS6 Dominar (set to be released in the Philippines later this year), is top of the list.
Bro crushing speed of this both bikes are same . I accepted that dominar can reach 160kmph but you can feel a lot of vibration and even in speed of 130 engine feel stressed it also hamper in milage and I'm totally disagree with you point that classic reborn crushing spot is only 70, 80 I have also ridden it once it hardly achieve top speed of 120 but I can crush that bike in 105,110 whole day long comfortably 🤞.
Though I already booked RE Classic 350 Next Gen Dark Series I'm still confused between RE Classic 350 and Dominar 400 bs6. How is the pillion comfort in Dominar? Kindly reply me bro.

D400 is a bit heavy; however, for long journey (1000+ Km), dominar has much better comfort (rider+pillion) than RE. RE literally sucks about pillion comfort.
@@anujkrr317 at the end I chose RE Meteor 350 stellar. It's been 3 months now and I'm enjoying it but except I guess, it needs more care than any other bikes😅. Both rider and pillion seat of Meteor is comfortable. Till now I've covered 5000km.

Calling classic 350 a city bike is the big joke. Classic is known as an Himalayan legend before RE launched Himalayan. They have a huge reputation in touring
