Imagine being in this band, knowing you made a song that EVERYONE was listening to for a long time, that people continue to listen to, play when they are nostalgic, when they are sad, when they are in love, DECADES later, everyone still loves it. It must be mind-blowing.
Roughly four million albums sold. Band is stacked with legendary players and a great vocalist. It’s pretty hard to call these cats underrated. But it seems in every comment section, someone needs to use “underrated” instead of making an original comment.
@ Nearly every single musical act is rated right where they deserve to be. Even if the Label doesn’t assist the band in becoming huge in sales and popularity, in the end, it’s up to the individual or band to make themselves relevant. There has been many acts that struggled but eventually became huge. If a band wants to be popular, the band needs to provide their own momentum. First, write songs. Not just songs, but songs that will matter, no matter what genre the act is aiming for. Bands like Rush battles for ever to make it in Hard Rock. But Rush kept writing, and more importantly kept touring. KISS was seriously an album away from failing, early on. But the kept writing tunes and toured with big acts until they released “Alive” which was a concert album. So if a band gains only a moderate amount of momentum, write more tunes and tour relentlessly. And just because a band does not sell massive numbers, that doesn’t mean they are underrated. Most people believe an act is underrated just because the sales are not as big as Michael Jackson’s sales. The “underrated” argument is the same as saying an act is “ahead of it’s time”, which has never been accurate. If an act is playing a style that has never been heard, then the band is simply groundbreakers, and nothing more. Me, I’m a huge Mr Big fan. I’ve caught them live twice. The band is amazing live. And martin’s voice was so good, nearly perfect. And since Mr Big had a number one single, “ Too aBe With You”, and a few other songs that charted, I find it hard to believe Mr Big is underrated. And all the players are highly regarded by other other top tier player. If you base sales as to whether a band is underrated, then the Backstreet Boys are on if the highest rated acts ever, which they are not. Like I mentioned prior, write meaningful songs, songs that the writer believes in and feels, then tour like mad. If the Act can’t find another touring act to open for, pay for their own small tour until other Rock players begin to take notice. Many acts have followed this template until the big payday is in sight. There will be no need to sell-out. Just battle using your style until it’s embraced. If you read all of this, I appreciate it. Ok, I’m bone babbling…for now.

I've always loved this song! And the lead singer looks like he's 16 years old, but his voice is so wonderful! They were truly talented, yet underrated! ❤❤
Because of this live version of "To Be With You", I bought the complete CD of this concert in 1995. I still have it today. What I would have given if I could have found a video cassette back then, or a DVD that didn't even exist yet. I first heard the song "To Be With You" in 1995 on the TV channel VH1 and became a fan in the same second. I was about 11-12 years old then.
I agree with you. Brings back memories, including memories of a different time in music and in life back then. It makes me sad that...that time is no longer. Makes me miss it a lot.
Thanks for the upload. These musicians in Mr Big were the tightest band that I remember in the Rock World... All four of them were/are fantastic...... RIP Pat Torpey, You were one of the most talented Rock & Roll Drummers. God Bless You Patrick & Your Family as well...

These guys came in just before grunge, probably the last of the so called hair bands. It's a shame these guy s had it, but maybe arrived a little to late.

Japanese people are the most appreciative people in the world ! I love their culture !
Because of them, Cheap Trick was saved from possible doom and failure as a band, thanks to their Live at the Budokon set.
Agree 1,000%!!! America could learn many lessons from the Japanese people on how to treat each other and cooperate together as a society
Brazilian too!
The most underrated band of all time the amount of talent in this group can never ever no matter if its 10000 years from now be overstated.

Hold on, little girl
Show me what he's done to you
Stand up little girl
Broken heart can't be that bad
When it's through, it's through
Fate will twist the both of you
So come on baby, come on over
Let me be the one to show you
I'm the one who wants to be with you
Deep inside I hope you feel it too (feel it too)
Waited on a line of greens and blues (waited on a line)
Just to be the next to be with you
Build up your confidence
So you can be on top for once
Wake up who cares about
Little boys that talk too much
I've seen it all go down
The game of love was all rained out
So come on baby, come on over
Let me be the one to hold you
I'm the one who wants to be with you (I'm the one, yeah)
Deep inside I hope you feel it too (feel it too)
Waited on a line of greens and blues (waited on a line, yeah)
Just to be the next to be with you
Why be alone when we can be together, baby?
You can make my life worthwhile
I can make you start to smile
When it's through, it's through
Fate will twist the both of you
So come on baby, come on over
Let me be the one to show you
I'm the one who wants to be with you (I'm the one)
Deep inside I hope you feel it too (feel it too)
Waited on a line of greens and blues (waited on a line)
Yeah, just to be the next to be with you
I'm the one who wants to be with you (I'm the one)
Deep inside I hope (deep inside) you feel it too (you feel it too)
Waited on a line of greens and blues (waited on that line)
Yeah, just to be the next to be with you
Just to be the next to be with you, ooh
