I never thought I would see even a sliver of Danforth's efforts for this film. As always, his breathtaking sensibility of movement, staging and complexity remain captivating. This is hand forged work at its finest. Digital animation offers pale creature characterization, as it all seems begat by an off the shelf plug-in. Please stop buying into it folks!
Jim Danforth was also a Boss in stop-motion, I was amazed with his work in "When Dinosaurs…", this movie clip confort my opinion, his talents are great and various. I saw the wonderfull illustrations he painted and even glass matte paintings!
