  • Sanjeev Sanyal tells us how Lal-Bal-Pal, the trio who stood for Swaraj, were the first thinkers or leaders of India’s Revolutionary Movement, the Anushilan Samiti provided the spark for this movement, the link between people instrumental in seeing this to fruition and how the British responded to this resistance.

      That's the way to knock on the doors of the otherwise dormant indian Nationalists completely unaware of the Neo-colonialism silently trying to stretch its dreaded tentacles in the country.
      Need to make aware as many concerned Indians as we can.
      Works and thoughts of the people like Sanjeev Sanyal, J Sai Deepak, Rajeev Malhotra ,Meenakshi Jain and many more are to be spread like wild fire as fast as possible to counter the Neo-colonial and anti national elements, and to protect our Bharat, preserve our civilization and uphold the Dharma.
      Army fighting on the border at two fronts. We,the civilian nationals, have to fight at the 3rd front- the Propaganda war against India. (Late Gen Bipin Rawat's fighting at 2.5 fronts theory)

Tiruppur kumaran's hijack of train with armaments to equip revolutionaries, Kattabomman's armed struggle with Brit to name a few. Unfortunately, many in north are given to believe that freedom was won by the north and south got it for free. Our history books are to be blamed for it (and ofcourse their ignorance)

    An excellent exposition. I do wish you had included the names of unsung heroes including women freedom fighters. One name I suggest is Urmila Shastri who was imprisoned in Meerut jail and has written an account of her prison days. Titled “Karaagaar”, it has been published with a foreword by Kasturba Gandhi. She died soon after. More details on her can be provided.

    I am happy that there are some people who is openly speaking the truth. Congress was never a freedom loving people and a true loyalists of British India that is why they had given power to loyalists Nehru and not Sardaar Patel. Britishers took revenge by their own way to this real freedom fighter.

      Abey chomu…
      Do you know that BJP has an age limit of 75?
      Sardar Patel was 72 in 1947. He was 75 when First election was held and he died at that age before the first election was completed. Nehru was only 58 when India got freedom.

    • @parinita.shetty
      @parinita.shetty 2 роки тому

      On 20 April 1946, Gandhi made his choice for Congress party President known in the favour of Nehru. Despite Gandhi’s open support for Jawaharlal Nehru, the Congress party overwhelmingly wanted Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel as the president and consequently the first Prime Minister of India, because Patel was considered “a great executive, organizer and leader”. At that time only the Pradesh Congress Committees could nominate and elect the Congress president. By 29 April 1946 which was the last date for the nominations for the post of the Congress president, and thereby the first Prime Minister of India, 12 out of 15 Pradesh Congress Committees nominated Sardar Patel. The remaining three abstained from nomination process. Once Gandhi was informed that “Jawaharlal will not take second place”, he asked Patel to withdraw. Rajendra Prasad lamented that Gandhi “had once again sacrificed his trusted lieutenant for the sake of the “glamorous Nehru” and further feared that “Nehru would follow the British ways”.
      When Rajendra Prasad was using the phrase “once again”, he indeed was referring to the denial of Congress president-ship to Patel in 1929, 1937 and 1946 in preference to Nehru; and always at the last moment. Nehru was made prime minister of the Interim Government of India in the British Raj from 2 September 1946 until 14 August 1947.

    Was this revolt useful ? Sardar Patel also refused to include INA soldiers into “Independent” Indian Army. Aurobindo realised that the extensive amount of life loss was futile affair against Raj that’s why he exiled himself from those activities. If you say independence (which is not bcz ultimately you are going to be ruled by anybody) then the power transfer from Britain to INC (WW2 which damaged entire Europe) then that’s the biggest blunder what happened in India from Economical standpoint. Whatever freedom enjoyed by Indian bourgeoisie prior to 1947 totally destroyed by Nehruvian protectionism. Tremendous life loss of Bengal only brought Bengal’s doom intellectually and economically

      If these events didn't happen then India would remain a colony in perpetuity due to the loyalists.
