Mt St Helens Spirit Lake Viewpoint - Amputee Outdoors [4K]

- If you're heading to Loowit Falls at Mt. St. Helens, you must check out Spirit Lake viewpoint before starting. From the Windy Ridge parking lot, you will see the bathrooms and next to them the trailhead. It's only a 1/4 mile up the hill and the stairs make the walk much easier.
At the top you'll have a panoramic view of Spirit Lake, the pumice fields and Mt. St. Helens and the huge lava dome inside the crater. It's a great way to get a perspective of your hike and the landscape of Mt. St. Helens.

Nice little side trip. I’ve never been to Washington state but I would like to see the three national parks surrounding Seattle. 👍
You should! Especially Mt. Rainier. It dominates the landscape for hundreds of miles and no trip to Washington is complete without going there.
