iPhones take good pictures; even the older ones. I have a camera (nothing fancy) but I still prefer taking pictures on my iPhone because it’s so much smaller, lighter, and easier to use.
Hello beautiful human. Can you tackle the issue of how to gain confidence and take these awesome pics. Or how can you get over people watching you if you are taking an advanced selfie in a public place?
Hey! She has some vids on this from earlier on her channel, or videos where she discusses these ideas! - How To Take Your Own Travel Photos - Why You Look Ugly In Photos And Six Ways To Fix It - 12 Mistakes Beginner Photographers Make And How To Fix Them Fast - How To Pose Like A Pro Model: Critiquing Your Shots And Giving Real World Photographer Advice She also mentions this stuff in some of her others, but these are the videos that come to mind; also, I don't know ow if it's mentioned in the titles above, but she does say in one to try to shoot early in the morning if you're nervous to do it around other people, and some of her challenges are inside her house/room. I would practice in my room for a bit, before I went outside to pose in a park, but that's just me; if I knew how to work my equipment efficiently, I'd feel more confident to pose in public! Hope this is sorta helpful:)
Lilo Ad I think she already had some videos about it, in the ones she talk about improving your art she mentioned self confidence themes and the others are the ones about how to make better poses she mentioned about taking photos and places with tourist around her
honestly just trying to go out there and do it is the very best way to find confidence -- keep doing it and you'll get used to it // I can say this because I myself am such an introverted person but ive been going out and taking pictures in public and even tho I know people are there I just keep going with it most of the time people don't even really care -- you just have to remember that
I don't have a tripod and dslr camera. I used to watch your videos because they were amazing. But now with this video i can take advanced selfies with my mobile. Loved the video as always. Thanks ♥️
of course you do. skate parks, shipping container, woods, fields, backstreets, beach (sunset), old houses, rundown houses, modern architecture, billboards. There are so many locations that you can use. Shoot the world you know!
I just wanted to thank you. I was thinking about how I can make my instagram better and that I need to learn to edit photos and write good captions and how much time and effort it will take etc. etc. And then I just scrolled through your instagram and the beauty of the photos just made me literally cry. And then I read a caption about how lucky humans are to be able to create and the sincerity of it amazed me. I was always scared of writing something too intimate or sincere on the internet because I thought people wouldn’t understand, but you made me want to try to do it for myself and not to think whether others will judge me. So thank you again.
When you Said “I had so much fun...” you reminded me of a teacher as in a first grade teacher or so. I love your happy smiling face. Every video you make inspirere me to take photographies myself
I did this! My icon is actually a self-portrait and shot with my phone. Sometimes you gotta use what you have. So nice seeing someone already amazing doing stuff like this, nice job sorelle♥️
Just had the wild idea that people (I know) might not criticize me so much if I were to take photos of myself because I might take one every couple of years (if that) and this video was one that came up when I realized I searched for help. I love your energy and will definitely be checking out more content. I will also be trying to take one photo a week of myself from now on.
Thank you so much Sorelle! I have a DLSR but i don't bring it with me everywhere, so seeing you do this with your phone, i can see how I can implement that to my everyday life !
Damn, you just helped me deliver a new baby passion in me. Photography , such photos are born when one is like i don’t care whats around me. I need to master that first.
This is perfect timing for me. I’m going backpacking through Europe and I’m trying to decide if I get away with taking good photos on my iPhone, versus taking my DSLR with me. Thank you Queen!
I love it.I love how you show everyone able to do photography using phone because not everyone can avail to buy a camera. Thank you! Highly appreciated. Love all the tips received. More videos to come.I am a beginner.Hello From Philippines.
Okay, now I have a video I can show to my friends and make them LEARN! I've been doing these tricks for advanced selfies for a long time, and yeah, it sucks so bad not having a tripod. Not to mention a good camera. Love learning from your videos tho, how to pose and use good light etc. You are inspiring :)
What I really Liked more about the video is the Energy, it's very contagious. I was bored and meh!! Then in just a complete 7 minutes of energy and a pure dose of colorful and vivid energy, my mood got changed in like BAM
So i am going to share how i make and use a diy tripod. Pros: it works and you can adjust the height Cons: You get only horizontal photos. So i use my selfie stick and insert my phone in it and i put the stick in a tall heavy bottle(i use a tall glass bottle) then you will see that it leans a little bit backwards and that makes your pictures weird + idk if it's safe for your phone. So to fix this i lean the stick to the back of a chair to make it stand straight + to secure my phone from falling. You get a straight picture( but horizontal) plus a tripod on a budget. (Take your pictures by using the timer on your phone). Here you go! If you have other tips please share.
do you have any examples (on insta for example!) of photos that you've taken this way? i've been looking for a phone tripod but all i see in stores are selfie sticks lolol
She is simply a great artist! I have almost identical gear compare to hers, but she is simply a great model who knows how to work it and does post editing consistently and beautifully. She is a true artist for sure!
Ack okay this is SO cute, but there's barely any practical information in here. What phone, what app, what settings, what comparable settings might there be on other devices, tell us more about what you're doing with the front camera/back camera, is there any difference in the way you frame shots, or limitations, etc. etc. etc.! Otherwise we're just looking at you take a bunch of pictures, which was fun, but not really applicable to anyone else you know? :)
I think this was exactly the purpose of the video: to show that you can take and edit cool pictures with just your phone. Everything else you are asking is about basic photography skills/ knowledge which apply no matter what you are shooting with.
annafantasia I think it’s because this for those who have the basic knowledge already, which is why what she did is place the phone beside her camera, to have the basic idea of how it was framed. And I think she mentioned having other videos for the basics.
So this is basically how I look like when I take my pictures, interesting haha. I don't have expensive gadgets, just an old camera so I have to set the timer and run and hope that I like my pose and stuff. It's great to see you do this, Sorelle. You're such an inspiration.
I love that you see this as an investment because it totally is! Being able to photograph yourself beautifully not only does wonders for your self esteem but also helps you slay in so many other areas of life. You’re a clever cookie girl! 😘
I was looking forward to this video for ages!!!! I love taking self portraits. And I find it easier with a mobile phone than a Dslr. I always felt like I was not doing real "self portrait" stuff. But thank you so much for putting this out there.
Thank you! All I own right now is an iPhone (not even a computer or tablet or camera of any kind) so this was super helpful! Proof you can live very minimally and take amazing photos!

Oh my gosh! I've been doing this for ages (because I don't have a tripod or a camera). So I tie up my phone to an umbrella and a ladder or chair 😂🙈 and I'm so glad this is spreading! You don't need AMAZING gear to make good content! (Even though it is a bonus) you just need an idea and a lot of patience. ❤️❤️ so #doitforthegramlol
I think with the sun shots you could definately tell that te pictures were mediocre at best... Just did not have a wow factor to it at all.. And the very dark one inside I still can´t believe how it got so good quality with the phone as in my experience with such little amount of light it is hopeless :(
Hi orelle ! I loved this video as all of your, the only thing is that you don't show the actual tricky part : how do you press the button ? ;-) How do you actually take the photo ? Do you have a remote for your phone ?
I love taking pictures and never thought i can take pictures that is good using phone over dslr. Learned a lot of thing on this vid. And you just gained a sub. Kudos

I had lost interest in photography for some time now, and I was sooo sad cause ive always been inlove with photighraphy, and then I discovered your chanel and your insta an I have learned so much and I'm so thankful
In some shots you can see she was using the front camera as well as the back one. A good trick is to take a test shot with the front, so you know what you are doing, and once you got the framing, just turn it around and make sure to position the phone the same way.
God! I love your videos! I'm about to start traveling the world and your videos have helped me greatly! They have helped my conquer my fears of being a solo traveler. Keep this up Amore! You've helped me greatly!
Thank you so much ! Today you proved that you are the best. Completely impressed, you didn’t even use the latest iPhone but also came up with good images. Sorelle thank you for inspiring me to start vlogging, taking picture and traveling. I just received my GoPro hero 6 today, I know it's not the best for voggling but it will be awesome b-roll shots, money set aside for vacation and I consider you an amazing roll model/ teacher!
You really opened my eyes and showed me that you don't need an expensive camera and a tripod to take amazing pictures. Thank you so much 👌😂
