Sorelly there is something about your expression that is changing. Please don't take it the wrong way, I'm doing my best to express this in english but I see something in your eyes, in your simile that wasn't there before. And I've been watching your videos for years now. Just wanted to say, I'm so happy you are feeling this happy :)
When I watch your videos, I remember how awesome it was to camp by the sea... I was like a tribal woman...it was so weird to come back to a city afterwards. Watching your videos forces me to work more and more towards financial freedom, so I could easily travel whenever/wherever. Thank you for your channel💖
Keeping 5 meters away from the river bank seems like the smartest move. You know you’re in hillbilly territory when you see the buckshot holes in the road signs 🤣🤣
Welcome back. Just joined cos I was wandering what was Sorrele up to lately. If you ever want to have a coffee with a fan come to Sunshine Coast. Big hug.
Love that you’re doing that. Just realized I subscribed to your channel in my old account so had to resubscribe :) We’ve been only traveling around Western Australia so far and it’s been such a good time here. Hope you’ll make it to this side as it’s SO diverse here, too. Would love to come back to OZ again at some point. We kind of built such a lovely community here, it’s hard to leave - but the travel itch is calling :)
Hey, @sorelle, I'm in Perth, Western Australia and always never thought I'd come close to any of the people I've followed online. Would be interested to meet up if you end up here on your travel around Australia - hoping to discuss some matters like world events, get some confirmation and clarification on things and recent events, such as if your thoughts on anything you discussed on your other channel have changed. Don't worry, I'm married & can bring my wife & kids along.
In the “Toys for Travel” department, may I suggest packing a kite or two? They’re compact, easy to carry (recommended by a 66-year-old child!), and absolutely perfect for beach life on the Cape. Is it always windy there? It sure feels like it! You simply have to go back-you missed so much (as did I!). Even after five wonderful weeks, it still wasn’t long enough. As for the Tele Track, don’t worry too much. It has chicken tracks (bypasses) for all the car-destroying obstacles. Honestly, I think the PDR is tougher on vehicles with all those corrugations. It’s a nice wide road, but everyone ends up driving in the table drains. Only in Australia, right?
Hellloooo !!! This made me a little bit home sick. I lived near Daintree for many years. Safe travels. Dinosaurs/Crocodiles are Cool to look at just don't try and pat them.
Loving this phase of your life-journey so far. Any chance of a pointer to where I can hear more of that instrumental piece at 13:27? It's giving me vibes of "Time" from the "Inception" movie soundtrack ...
It is so awesome to see Australia through your lens and perspective. Those red dirt roads are really wild. Is it just dirt or is is road covered in dirt? Does it get slippery when it rains? Is the weather always moderate in Australia? Loved the accent part 😁😆👍
It’s just dirt! Haven’t been in it during the rain but I presume it gets plastered all over the car a lot more. Nope, the weather changes a tone. Particularly the humidity and rain. It’s about to hit rainy reason up there for a few months and much higher temps :)
The wild Australia, the best part I like. Spotted couple of kangaroos in the previous videos and the cassowaries: any snake or other typical local beasts so far?
@SorelleAmore Oh yes, do it 😊 It's a very long film so you'll need some time but at least to me, as someone who has never been to Australia, it felt as if the title was very fitting. I like to think that it must be amazing to watch when you actually are from Australia and know the landscapes and the nature that is so beautifully captured in the film 🤗
Tele track makes it more of I've earned/adventured a bit more. That time of year good idea stick to the "softer" way. Good to get outback and into what really counts in an environment that can swallow you up without a latte in sight. Wait til you see a big croc, ultimate unchanged predator for thousands of years. One of the last living links to the dinosaurs.
@@SorelleAmore Good thing about Oz, Emus, Cassowarys and Echidnas been round a long long time as well. Be careful of the Cassowarys. They can get cranky if you crowd em and ruin your day.

I love your videos! And I love that you’re showing the world how vast and varied Australia is. But something that occurred to me during this video just before you said ‘what Australia would have been like before whities fucked it up’ is the language around the ‘tip of Australia’ and Australia as a continent, without mention about how many different ‘countries’ or nations and different language groups there are. It would be amazing to hear the language name of the place and the name of the peoples/clan originally from the places that you visit. And to let the wider world know that Australia actually contains many many different countries with different languages and cultures and climates! Otherwise I feel we are just reinforcing the idea that Australia is white and just one place, when as you say.. it is VAST. I’m from Perth/Boorloo, and I only really know the Aboriginal land names of the surrounding areas here, Whadjuk Noongar country, Ballardong Nyoongar country, Yamatji country and when I travel in my 4WD next year, I want to learn the names of the places I am visiting. I think this is how we can learn more about this vast continent in a manageable, immersive way, learning as we go, as we visit. It’s definitely too overwhelming to study the map! Linked here anyway - aiatsis.gov.au/explore/map-indigenous-australia
Forget about the so called camping permits included in the Jardine River crossing fee. That's just a nonsense to try and excuse the great rip off that it is. It's the same price regardless of whether you camp on the other side or not. You can travel across the Jardine with no intention to camp on the other side, and then pay to spend your entire time in a resort or a caravan park, but you still have to pay the full ferry fee. If camping fees were relevant, they would be optional to the ferry crossing fee, but they are not. It's extortion and it's been that way for decades and it's seen as a joke by everyone that is trapped into using the service. Now that we have that out of the way, I love your channel and your adventures. Enjoy, stay safe and Merry Christmas. 🎅🎄

Hey Lucas, You mean you want to do this as a job? There’s many ways to live this type of life and it’s not necessary to do socials. Many ways to make money online or on the road. You can stop for a few months and jump on a sight to top up the bank account. Your expenses are of course lower because you don’t pay rent or keep up with the joneses so your money goes further. It’s a really big topic so hard to cover everything in a comment! Might make a video about it :)
