At the time of the incident she was big enough to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. She was never afraid of anyone. She was the neighborhood bully. This MURDER was cold and calculated.

Susan looks very calm actually. She provoked , Ajiek reacted instead of calling police and Susan did what she wanted . Susan did not try to scare her , she had good aim.

The reason she was “terrified” and her voice was “quivering”, was because she just shot her gun through her from door! She had to have known she shot AJ just by the pure chaos and screams from the other side of the door!
911 call she admits she did not open the door to her. Shot completely thru the door. If she’s not found guilty, jury was chosen wrong.
@@kimberlyh2098I agree. I certainly hope the jury will get to hear the entire 911 call. This whole thing was completely uncalled for and I think was pretty much premeditated by the defendant going and getting her gun. But that’s for another conversation.
@@jvs5311 I assume they heard everything that we did, but the thing is I was able to go back and rewind to make sure I heard what I heard. Hopefully they get to hear it again as well or heard it the first time.

She is a frail old lady. She had knee surgeries, back surgeries, anyersm in kidney, torn rotator cuff, torn muscle in shoulder, carpal tunnel, herniated disc, and she had ovarian cancer. That would be the definition of a frail old lady.

A day filled with laughter and joy turned into a nightmare as four babies lost their mother. The community area was supposed to be a safe space, but Karen aka Susan had other plans. Why didn't the police stop her earlier? Why did she feel entitled to the area? These children were just being kids, playing outside with their friends. My heart is shattered; justice must be served for these innocent souls!
Susan is a premeditated murder, perpetrated by a woman who waited for the perfect moment to shoot her neighbor, has left four children motherless. We need justice and life imprisonment without parole, as well as additional charges of assault and attempted murder for endangering the children with her gunfire.
RIP Ajkie, your legacy will live on in our quest for the truth and justice!

She took that child's stuff and called him the N word , told him to fetch as she threw his roller skates and kept his tablet knowing the mother would come knocking to get it ... Also she just bought the guns recently and had 'researched " the stand your ground laws in FL and self defense ... She set her up to kill her ...she's a terrible person

The police did do something. They told the women to stay away from each other. Specifically the mother was told more than once to stay away from the older neighbor. Sounds like you didn't know.

I think that Susan was doing everything in her power to lure AJ to her house!..Knowing that AJ’s children were her life and she would defend them in every way!.., she taunted the children knowing they would tell their Mom and she would then go to Susan’s home, and straight to the “line of fire” where Susan wanted her!..She then shot AJ which was her intention all along!..
Watching Susan’s interrogation infuriated me so much!..To hear the way that she spoke about AJ and her children!..How every second word was a curse word because Susan is a disrespectful “Karen” who thinks she can do whatever she wants and there shouldn’t be any repercussions as a result!..This woman is the worst of the worst and I hope she spends the rest of her miserable life in prison!..

This case was grossly undercharged.
She should have moved to a senior living community if she wanted peace and quiet. But, chances are, she woukd have been unhappy there, too. Perpetually unhappy people find misery in everything joyful....
What is the deal with Marion County? First they don't charge this defendant with 2nd degree murder...
Weak opening statement, in my opinion.... The public defender seems more passionate about defending Susan than the state is about prosecuting.
Then they don't bring out evidence of the racial slurs Susan would scream at then kids...or her bad history in the neighborhood...

There’s no better sound in the world than kids laughing and playing! I don’t know if Susan worked from home, but it sounds like she said that to police during a few of her interactions with the police. If kids playing outside interfered with work phone calls, I would have invested in popsicles and befriended the kids and their parents. Afterwards, I would have spoke to the parents and the children and asked about keeping the volume down during this time to this time. OR how about moving, Susan!!
Susan had no issues picking up the phone and calling LE a million times before she shot her neighbor. There’s no reason why she didn’t that day! She will never be able to convince me that she didn’t know her neighbor would go knock on her door after she went out of her way to pick up a kids belongings.
I love the video of the police officer who responded to a call of kids playing basketball in the street, and then the officer joined the kids! 💙

Kids also mirror behavior on top of amplifying. In other words, people like Suzan create their own problem. If she was cool with the kids the kids would like her and treat her well. Instead, she spits and hurls abuse at them, which they return in kind, plus more. It's what kids do. And people like her will never understand or grasp this concept.

Whoa. The deputy put the lock on the firearm without wearing gloves then the csi agent put on gloves to handle it. And no one said a word.
The fact that the police wait to attend to the victim who is lying there bleeding from a gunshot wound seems a little backward. I understand securing the scene, but why wasn't the EMTs called.

This woman should not have used deadly force unless AJ actually breached the apartment door or tried breaking the glass door. She SHOULD have dialed 911. That being said, AJ and children should not have constantly harassed her either. Shame on the mom for not teaching her children better. She allowed them to taunt this woman and enjoyed seeing them harass her. She is a big instigator in all of this, and now more children in the system. Why can't we all just get along?

The kids beig rude didn't cause this to happen. Suzan was a certified lunatic with her obsession with noise coming from outside. She had a long history of calling the police over the neighborhood kids playing in the empty lot next to her house. Records reflect a multitude of witnesses reporting that Szuan would routinely come out of her house and hurl abuses at the kids by calling them "f**king r*tards," "f**king b*tches," and she even described one of the kids getting r*ped on at least one occasion. All of that over children playing next to her house.
While responding to one of the 10+ calls for service to her residence, police were actually interrupted and confronted by Suzan because they were having a quiet conversation with a neighboring witness in the lot next to her house. That puts into context just how neurotic she was when it came to noise.
As for the day of the incident, a child left his iPad in the lot next to her house. When he came back to pick up his forgotten device, she was in possession of it and threw both the iPad and a pair of roller skates at the boy. The boy told his mother, who was Ajike 'AJ' Owens. Owens attempted to confront Suzan, who never even opened her front door, opting instead to fire her gun through said door.

When officers were there interviewing one of the neighbors about 25 yards from her house, (quietly having a normal volume conversation next to the street and adjacent lot next to her house) she came outside and had the audacity to tell the police, who SHE CALLED, that they were being too loud and that the conversation they were having was keeping her from being able to hear her "clients" on the phone.
That was the moment I knew, 100%, that this lady is completely unreasonable and the kids couldn't possibly be at fault.
She seems extremely miserable and has projected her outlook on everyone. She should have stayed away if she wanted quiet but more than peace she wanted the drama, and people to rage at. What a waste of a human life and she shot a mom of 2 children. Sad 😢🙏🏻
