Very helpful video. Thanks! Just one quick question. If you have big butt Bob riding along as a passenger, will the lower cross bar rub on the tire? Thanks!
Great suggestion. I wasn't aware of the grt709s. They would be a nice solution and easier to mount and unmount that the Mosko Scouts. The Scouts are backordered for a couple more months, so I went with cheap Kappa K22N in the short term (Givi E22N), which are quite light weight and mount easily. I'll keep in mind the grt709s as well.
Zac Williams they are not available in the United States just yet. I ordered mine from Italy with shipping just less than $500 but they do lock into place with a key and everything
great video.i just purchased the same bike last week.i ant to add a battery maintainer but I do not know to remove the seat.could you make video on how to remove the seat and install the maintainer? thnk you
I put the Trekker 33 lt bags look great an can open from the side or top. and want to get the Trekker 46 for the top so I have a easy place to put my helmet and gloves and rain gear , Got them in black to match the bike it is black.
@@terryxys I got every thing put away until we get some good weather, I do have a photo with the one bag on but do not know how to put it on this sight, but if you give me a email or cell phone number I could send you a couple of photos from my phone.
It looks like you got the back brace on upside down, looks much better with it up inside the fender, also will give more clearance for the rear wheel.
Any update on what bags you used? Great vid!
Hey Zack,
Thank you for your helpful video!
Is that rubber small block “thingy” on the top of the rack.....removable?
Thanks again.
You have the back brace on up side down it should be up into the fender more, and farther from the tire. other wise great video
I'm pretty sure your rear support brace is upside down, it's ment to fit up behind the rear number plate, not hang out over the wheel.
No he did it right
trekker 33 Lt. bags look great on the versys X 300 and you can open from the top or side load.. Putting soft bags that close to the muffler not good.
I was waiting to see the paniers

Curious what the bags look like mounted.
He lacked to put the suitcases to see how the bike looks with the suitcases on
I bought this one..now I have a question witch sideplate would you put on it? Or no baseplate at all?
Do you think the bags will overheat since the one on the right is a little too close to the exhaust pipe?
