- Clutch re-installation. This requires an entire video segment. I'm simply re-installing my original OEM clutch - it was working great before the motor rebuild, so no reason to replace anything. Getting it back on can be a little tricky.

I wonder if the clutch would be the same for R6 2000

Hey i have the same problem with a new clutch. Do you have a solution now?
@@EX0RR I just found this out!! There is ONE friction plate that has a larger inner diameter than the other 7. You would never notice if you did what he did and put them back in the exact same order as he took them off but I mixed them up and paid the consequences. Look here. www.partzilla.com/catalog/yamaha/motorcycle/2000/r1-yzfr1mc/clutch
Parker Raus I’m having this same issue can you please help
@@King-nj2cc I don't remember what i did. I think i changed blank friction plates with new ones or changed oil.. It's very long ago
Why no wire lock reinstalled?

Can you put the clutches back together without the small plate and inner springs I think that’s what they are called
I follow the factory service manual, and I don't deviate from it. To answer your question directly, I don't know.
@@jf5543 Speedracer, no. Put them back in the order from this diagram. John must have a slightly different setup than us which was causing me issues too. www.partzilla.com/catalog/yamaha/motorcycle/2000/r1-yzfr1mc/clutch
