The voice was changed from the Dave voice to the Joanne voice in October 2023.
The Dave voice can still be heard at a few other NJT stations, including EWR.

No doubt! Some announcers, esp at Grand Central and Penn Station talk WAY too fast! Tricky to understand sometimes, too.

I used ttsdemo.com then selected the “Dave” voice

@@RailfanUS No effects in the TTS site. But I did use a reverb effect in Audacity where I recorded it directly there.
