Thanks bro
The real MVP. 🫡
My V hybrid runs around average 1100 kms on a single tank refill giving an average of 26kmpl. Perfect for city driving
Petrol ! Is there a diesel version in hyryder
In city or highways?
They are promoting themselves more than the car....
Since they are not promoting the vehicle means we should trust what they re saying about the vehicle and it's mileage .
Not a problem I would say. They are car reviewers. They give their opinion on cars. On paper they shouldn't promote any car sales.
😂😂
Good to know and for me it’s giving a city average of 26 plus and max instance mileage even one time touched 50 kmpl.,, very pleased to one of trip touching 50
More than what company claims?? Sounds Unreal, which varient car??
@@rakeshmehra6321 hybrid G variant
R u joking?
@BadrinathVenkatasuramanian um getting a mileage of 34.5 on highways at speeds between 45-50. This is not the instant mileage...it is the real mileage which I'm getting at that speed. Checked for around 98 kms and found it real. Overall I'm getting 23 kms mileage
One shouldn’t be checking the MID so often.. that would show based on the recent past logs… a strong hybrid is good in city not for highway as the EV mode hardly kicks in
But good to do 1000 kms in 16 hrs
I have crossed 1100Kms+ range multiple times in my New Gen Hyundai Creta 2020 1.5 VGT Diesel Manual. One of which was Bengaluru to Mumbai trip in 14 hours on one full tank without Cruise control, AC on all the time and speeds not crossing 110Kmph. I wish there was an option to share the picture of the MID reading here which showed 26Kmpl.
we believe you
@@onesujeet Thank you 🙂
Great
Nothing too surprising for a diesel manual. Hyryder is special because it does that with petrol automatic transmission
@@TjSi You are correct but my surprise was that not many are reporting the Arai certified fuel efficiency of the Hyryder in real world.
@motorbean kind sync Volumes of orientation and BGM
It often happens that to listen to you guys we need to up volume and than suddenly BGM comes with explosive volume
Is it stiffer than Punto?? Hi
Please help, I currently drive a Punto evo and planning for upgrade. I am considering this do you feel it is okay with dynamics and comfort??
Please mention which drive mode did you use for this drive. It'd probably make huge difference to the drive feel and mileage
Since it's a mileage test, they would have choosen economy mode
Smart boy 😅
My Honda city CVT gives 19kmpl without hybrid. Not on expressway but Delhi to Amritsar highway.
NH44
Of course it's a sedan, it's more aerodynamic, lighter. Cannot compare with suv
How was the pick on high way.
Is the sunroof curtain causing heat issue's?
Yes during peak noon
My 2018 ciaz with mild hybrid petrol gives around the same mileage on the highways that too without using cruise control.
Good information. Thanks...
My opinion, this would be good for a city ride for fuel economy...from your comments felt that a Diesel engine would perform equal in terms of fuel economy and have a better driving comfort...
True, they should bring diesel Hybrids, if they can be good for trains and ships they can be good for big cars also.
@@egbertandrew8435 I feel that’s the reason Tata and Mahindra still focus on Diesel engines, rest of India apart from few cities ,major population enjoys these Diesel cars..
@egbertandrew8435 Diesel will pollute more will be unrefined and needs more maintenance. Manufacturing costs will be very high since it's bs6 or more and you have to shell out much more money to buy one compared to a petrol hybrid. You can run for at least 1lakh km in the difference of price between diesel hybrid and petrol hybrid. Diesel engine car service will cost 5k to 6k more. Mileage will be more but driving a diesel hybrid won't be refined. Battery for hybrid plus diesel engine will be much heavier than petrol hybrid. The diesel engine needs more engine room space inside the bonnet and a stiffer suspension setup too.
@@Jz-fj5ki Diesel pollutes more & Unrefined is debatable, Diesel Unrefined! The world moves on diesel. Diesel engines generally last longer than petrol. emissions Proportion to torque and power would be way lesser than petrols,
The Problem here is biggest foreign Manufacturers In india are absolutely lazy, Maruti for instance does not even have turbocharger in any car!. To better understand compare a petrol Generator to a Diesel One you will understand what Im saying.
Thanks for the information. Love your channel. We now know that running cost pf petrol hybrid is same that of diesel.
Now we want to know about actual emissions this car is releasing compared to diesel creta, and i really hope on this regard it would be really greener than a diesel car.
Any day petrol is cleaner and less polluting than a diesel counterpart,
Petrol along with hybrid will definitely have lesser tail pipe emissions
Please do same test for Breeza 2022.. Most anticipating for it...
Dude I've done 800 km from goa to Kerala in a single tank virtus 1.0 litre at 70-75 km/hr conservative driving which gave me 20.5 kmpl
Ok next joke pls
@@surajhk31 a full tank is 47 litres
You drove for 16 hours, you felt the drive comfortable but the car felt stiff ….there’s some conflict in that. Maybe your back has gotten a bit stiff, you sure have tested the endurance level of your anatomy.
Hey guys.. please do a mileage comparo to using this car and the honda City hybrid
Kunal Kamra ne ekdum sahi milage test kia hai
I am getting mileage of 27kmpl,There is no any issues in LEDs
19.89 is freaking bad. My City CVT on that road with an average speed of 100km (for that you need to drive at 120-160kmph in some stretch) gives me 16kmpl.
bruh. you comparing this big suv with sedan. and still this suv is giving more mileage. what more do you want?
Thanks bro for your review… it was very helpful 👍👍
Really sad they omitted fog lamps. India we need fog lamps so we can have a combination of both yellow and white light to suit different driving condition. Fog lamps will give extra light while driving in the night
The best video keep making videos like this
Running cost =(Fuel cost + Maintenance cost (Service ,Repair , insurance )+ Depreciation+ toll tax+ Loan interest)/Number of KM driven
Team motor beam very nice to have mileage test of 1000 KM from Bangalore of your hotel till your home in Mumbai. Key aspect you fail to tell is about toll tax paid in journey along with proper information snippets not shown about eating stops you take and mileage shows told just verbally. Need more improvement in your car review
Does the thin sunroof sheet allows heat also inside during afternoon times? Is it unbearable?
I am not able to understand why people are comparing this to a diesel car.
1) If you live in Delhi NCR area, the legal vehicle life is only of 10 years (biggest drawback).
2) Diesel engines do not have a future as we all know so buying a diesel car in in this decade does not make much sense.
3) This car is petrol, have a CVT gearbox and still giving a mileage of 20!
4) Budget acha hai aur mileage chahiye aur diesel lena sense nahi bnara aur CNG lekr power se compromise nai krna chahte aur fully electric lekr range anxiety face nahi krni, the only product you left with is this.
I’m having Toyota Hyryder from last 14 days and drive around 1600 km till now.
Around 500 km in city(Bangalore) and got around 18 kmpl.
Around 1100 km in highway (Bangalore-Hyderabad, speed around 100) and got around 22 kmpl.
AC is always on and I never drive without AC. Usually, I don’t consider or mention, since everyone is mentioning I just told 😊.
Actually as per my understanding and expectations. City should get more mileage than highways, but it’s not happening.
My observation, vehicle starts in EV mode, engine is starting only when battery went to single bar and start charging the battery. However, when battery reach second bar engine is getting stoped and vehicle running back in ev mode. only if I drive little fast then engine is starting and producing power to change battery also to move the vehicle.
So hardly battery is charging 2 / 3 bars and engine is stopping in cities. Only on highway due to continuous engine run battery fully charged.
Is this behaviour is normal?
Someone who own the hybrid vehicle can clarify please. Also how some people are claiming they are getting around 24 in city drive. What is the technique to get more mileage in city drive?
There are different tuninigs for different hybrids. Maruti usually tunes it for mileage hence it is a normal behavior.
@@prawinsanthanaraj3391 I didn’t get your response.
You mean to say charging battery only for 2 / 3 bars in cities is normal and Hybrid engine expected mileage in city around 18 is normal?
Are you owning any hybrid vehicle? Just to make sure you understand my concern.
By the way it’s not Maruthi engine, it’s Toyota hybrid engine.
Of course, agree that other body parts are Maruthi but not the engine and battery.
I think its normal. In city drive, battery never charge more than 2 bars. If you want to charge the battery faster, you may try B mode
HI, I drive Honda city ehev and it's normal to see 3-4 bars of charge during inside the city drive. The car needs long stretch for a full battery charge. Also the mileage I am getting is arnd 20-22 inside the city while highway gives 26-27 kmpl.
Hi bro! I got my Hyryder - Hybrid V version & so far drove around 2600 Km. 1600 Km in Highway (To & Fro from Chennai to Hyderabad) & 1000 Km in city (Hyderabad & Chennai). Got around 24-26 in Highway & 18-22 in City.
A diesel is a diesel is a diesel.......
Good going...rise and shine...
Clicked like even before watching the video. Like for that very long travel. Can't imagine.
Bro I have creta of 2018 model and my father purchased hyryder strong hybrid G variant we compared it but hyryder was big in length and boot space of hyryder is good than creta
What about power bro ?? Pickup ??

Great video. Can you please make a similar video for the Neodrive mild hybrid variant as well?
Hi, i am planning to buy a new Hyryder. You have share some information regarding the manufacturing of car, can you please let me know whether neodrive G variant is manufacturing in Toyota plant or Maruti plant.
Thanks on advance for providing the valuable information.
I got 20.5 kmpl from tirunelveli to bangalore back to tirunelveli total 1287 kms with 200kms full Bangalore traffic. Driven at 85kmph with ac on. Total waste maruti engine as usual with fake high mileage advertising. I have tiago xe petrol 2018. Even with hybrid and weight loss even in sunroof material they cant cross normal petrol tata engine.
Size matters
Tiago is smaller in size and low slung car when compared with this suv
You cant compare a suv with hatchback,
@@thulashipuramarun yet it is of same weight as that of this so called crossover with just 5 ps more so no problem. If they can't get good mileage why they should lose weight. Why they are advertising it as 27kmpl while tata is advertising tiago as 19.2 kmpl. Tata gives the real world mileage city + highway combined with full blast ac while maruti is faking its mileage with 50kmpl non ac mileage. People should understand this first. If they understand this maruti will have 0 sales.
@@prawinsanthanaraj3391
Maruti is not faking
They showed the arai tested figures that it
They never said real world mileage as 27kmpl
And for your information tata tiago itself is smaller car in size and also engine capacity is also 300cc smaller,
So it is delivering more mileage
second thing is maruti Swift is delivering the same mileage with more power than tata
For Nexon it is just 12 to Max 14 kmpl in City
Meantime grand vitara is little larger in size and is delivering more mileage
What you say for this ?
If maruti is faking with false advertisement means Tata also does the same
Dont get confused with arai certified mileage
Real world data is also there
No other car will deliver 20 plus on a 1000km stretch but this car maruti Toyota vehicle has done that
Led lights work well only in pitch dark,I would say BI xenon is best.
Great effort guys.
So which one is actually better? The Honda City eHEV or this Hyryder??
is this the hybrid version ?
Engine noise is a thing to worry. Too much noise inside the cabin. They could have opted for inline 4 for better refinement.
Highest range I've seen in my XUV 300 diesel manual is 946 kms while cruising between 80 and 100 kmph.
I did a 348 km trip during that journey and the car just consumed 3 bars of fuel.
And in my Honda City 2012 fuel capacity is around 35 to 40 l and after full tank the range I have seen is 783
I don't know how this is supposed to be more economical than a conventional car. If you are really serious about saving the planet, guess taking the bus or the train, would've been more logical as it would have left a lower carbon footprint. Besides, we all know how lithium-ion batteries are made and what goes into recycling them
My dabba Swift 2018 D with 22 kmpl mileage says HI!
It's a hatchback, this is a suv
Why Toyota and Suzuki dumped foglamps,. care looks good but headlights and split tale lamps are basic and feel like cheap for a 20l car
Great Effort. Enjoyed watching.
good one... please mention the cost of replacing Li-batteries and for how many years...
it will run fir atleast 8yrs and battery cist is only under 2lakhs..company give 1.6Lack km or 8yrs battery warranty..nothing to worry
hire me for these drives.. I drove single hand from Kanyakumari to Mumbai non stop in 24 hours in July 2022 including food breaks!
in 2015, drove 1500 kms in 22 hours Mumbai-Jog falls-Mumbai including food breaks and sight seeing and also drove Udaipur to Mumbai literally non stop (but for a tyre cooling chai break) in 10 hours.. so
Thats nothing to boost about

does the sunroof make the cabin hot . looks likethat is a deal breaker for me
Sir can v add a rubber (Rogerab)material fixed in suspension they say it will increase the suspension effect. Is this true.
No need that... Its purely scam... Don't go fro it...

*points I thought were missing*
1. At points as you mentioned the distance and avg. fuel consumption, you never visually showed it on the display which would have provided better affirmation.
2. You could have mentioned the postive and negative points of the car on the long journey in better orderly fashion.
3. You could have provided a better overall verdict of the journey.
4. you should have top up the tank once more at the final stop in Mumbai to get a perfect fuel consumption.
5. You could have planned 5 stops for flyby shots along with could give a real time update on the actual function of the hybrid system on different driving conditions on the NH. You have to realise that you are experiencing it but we are depending on your experience to understand the behaviour of the car.
6. You could have pointed out atleast one feature that stood out for you guys during the drive. You could have provided a brif on the driving dynamics of the car (such as acceleration, maneuverability, NVH, etc).
7. It is obvious that national highways are mundane to drive but showing a little bit of excitement could have helped.
8. Some nice views of the road and the trip, some stories of the route or even a crack of a joke on the trip would have made a huge difference.
9. A clear verdict from the team can give a whole lot of better guidance to us consumers/potential buyers.
Actually my expectations have increased from the team @motorbeam and Faisal Khan I always await your valuable insights into the Automobile industry, nevertheless you guys do a splendid job.
Kudos for the efforts you put in.
Thankyou
Strong hybrid's average is shockingly good in UCH.

Is this strong or mild hybrid?
Was it AWD model?
So it’s a Toyota badged as Maruti
It’s a Toyota…The Grand Vitara is the Maruti Badged Toyota
Strong Hybrid is Toyotas engine
Mild Hybrid is Maruti s engine

comparision with creta would be interesting
Toyota is goooood
Having total black ppf on the sunroof will solve the problem.

Rather buy diesel and have a stronger engine.
Actual city milege is around 12 to 13 only
So much of advertisements so much of hype on the mileage part of these siblings!!
Guys just try TSI engines onece. You aaraam se get 22+kms on average speed of 80kmpl. And when your inner Devil wakes up for want of power you will be happy to use the power as well. All these with world class safety standards!!
And please never ever compare to Diesel. You only end up in fooling yourselves!!
Yek baar chalavo TDIs & TSIs once. TFSI gives you 18 on highways!!
That's the master engineering of Germans !!
