I will try to make a video comparing pianoteq 1,2,3, etc. with version 8. But I must contact Modartt to see if they can please send me all of the previous versions.
@@DLA88 I love them all but I think the NY Steinway D and the Bösendorfer 280VC are my favorites in Pianoteq 8. Too bad there is no C7 and CFX package for Pianoteq, those are my favorite pianos!
Well, this sound is... maybe acceptable but not really good. I bought Pianoteq 8 Stage with just the Blüthner and the Bechstein and only the Blüthner sounds good to my ears. The Erard 1922 from the free KIVir collection is also quite nice, but that is a simulation of a historical instrument with a somewhat special sound - not everybody's cup of tea.
Thank you for viewing and comment. I love the sound of Pianoteq 8, of course there is some room for improvement but it is sounding much better now! I will try to do another comparison with a more “classical” piece.
Comparison against versions 6 or 7 would have been great!
Great idea. I no longer have Pianoteq 6 or 7 but I will see if I can download the older versions in my Modartt account.
Hey, here is the video. Enjoy it! 🙂 ua-cam.com/video/F17uwi3qrQ8/v-deo.htmlsi=EL7nv1V72OZGX9IU

I share your opinion. Bluthner and Erard.
