Very good test of the pianoteq pianos…we all can appreciate the piano sounds and most of all the new Bosendorfer 280….I have pianoteq now for some years and they become better and better…and I have all the pianos including the electric ones….probably one of the best piano on the market
Nice showcase for the new model. I also have a hint: use 'AB' button for comparisons. And 'Freeze' button if you want to ensure same value for certain parameters across presets.
Good review and comparison. I love pianoteq. My favs are Steingraeber and Bechstein. Will add Bosendorfer today. Love your comment that it’s great for any style. Very true of the real 280 as well.
So far I'm finding the region of the bottom octave on the Bosendorfer having less of the questionable or noticeable weaknesses of rest. Totally subjective of course, but its worth a try for that reason alone. Otherwise it's in the mix of pluses and minuses with other models. I'd definitely recommend anyone loving Pianoteq to give it a listen. Starting new, I'd probably make it one of my first two or three instrument choices.
Nice demo, now i am in two minds, on first listen I really like the Bösendorfer compared to the Steinway, but then you play the Steingaeber, dang that sounds gorgeous too. It will just have to be both! Lol. Thanks, really appreciated. 🙏👍😎
this one is a good choice, as are the Steinway D, I have most experience with those. All depends on what kind of piano tone you're going for. The Steinway B might be a good choice too, that's a little smaller, very popular in studio recording.
I just watched a video on Bösendorfer's official UA-cam channel, where they pronounced it as "Buhrsendorfer" I didn't realise either. It's like another "Moog" situation. 😂
Sounds great. Grabbed it before I even heard it to round off my collection and seems what I have been looking for. Thanks for the video!

Thanks for the beautiful demo. I like the Steingraeber 'warm' a lot. Btw there is a AB button on top to switch between sounds.
Thanks, I always forget to use that!
Nice demo, thanks. Don't forget that the condition slider is your friend - I always start with it set to about 0.20.

P.s., you got a new subscriber too.😄
The Bösendorfer and Steingraeber are both excellent and offer quite different tones, it's nice to have both!
I’m looking for a piano to play at church like (worship) music which piano sound from Pianoteq 8 you recommend me?

@@NickLeonard thank you!
It's not the case that's at all important, but you can improve your pronunciation of Bösendörfer (Google translate helps with that) ;)
I don't think I'll ever sound perfect in German, just trying not to sound completely American 😂
Hate to be pedantic but since you mentioned it, the second "o" has no Umlaut (ö),
it's Bösendorfer. :)
@@LahceneBelbachirindeed. Thanks for the correction!
I am a native german speaker and think in context of speaking english your pronunciation was pretty much spot on
