I’m old and my father turned me on to this movie when I was a little girl. As an adult I would watch this movie every Christmas Eve. When my children were in bed waiting for Santa, this Santa would be putting out the toys and watching IAWL. I have pictures of the toys and you can see the movie on the TV. When my youngest son was 6 he bought me a little glass bell ornament from school shopping. We hang it on the tree every year. Last year was the first time I watched It's a Wonderful Life and I really liked it. Years growing up, my Mom always watched it during Christmas time but the movie wasn't appealing to me. Last year during Christmas, I finally watched it with my parents and I really liked the movie and the message. They don't make movies like that anymore. Great cast and Jimmy Stewart was very good in the movie.

An interesting thing about the film is it wasn't even made to be regarded as a Christmas movie at all. Christmas is the setting of the end of the film, but Frank Capra said it wasn't the focus.
Absolutely ADORE Jimmy Stewart! He reminds me of my grandfather. Jimmy Stewart is my second favorite actor of all time (James Dean snagging number one). He was so real and talented! A true American icon. He was always so adorable inside and out. Your content is flawless, always so well researched. I've been a fan of old Hollywood almost my entire life. I saw this movie about 20 years ago at The old Redford Theater in Redford, Michigan. The theater is still around today. You would like it, it even has an old organ like the old theaters had way back when. Love your videos!

A very great movie with a slew of great actors that was not well received when it was first released. It certainly has become a Christmas mainstay for many.

Carolyn Grimes "Zuzu", lives up in Washington and has come to Portland Expo Collector Show many times. I have spoken to her almost every time, bought several things from her and have a picture with her. I feel connected to James and this movie through her, I know it's weird, but I do. I was just up in Hollywood. Went by Westwood Cemetery where Marilyn Monroe and many others are buried. Small quaint easy to roam and find stars from the past. Also visited Hollywood Forever to see Rudolph Valentino and others. Merry Christmas to Jordan and his Family and to everyone!
