Hi! My name is Christopher Odd and I’ve been playing video games on the internet for a few years. I really enjoy a variety of games but generally lean towards games with a unique and engaging story (Bioshock, The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us etc), strategy/roguelike games (XCOM 2 War of the Chosen, Darkest Dungeon, etc), and RPGs (Dark Souls, Dragon Age, etc). Chernobylite is a Science Fiction Survival Horror RPG from developers Farm 51. Base Building & Crafting
Construct a base from which to plan your daily operations and excursions. Utilise workstations to craft gadgets, create traps and weapons or modify existing equipment to your needs.

Survival in the Zone is not easy, and each day brings fresh challenges as comrades die and supplies diminish. Avoid detection with stealth takedowns or engage in open armed. Danger lurks in every corner.
Resource & Team Management
Companions are key to your survival and the resolution of your journey. Each day requires the careful planning and assignment of resources and tasks to your comrades.
Non-Linear Storytelling & Strategy
No playthrough is the same. Like your choices, the story is in your hands. Choose wisely whether to trust your comrades or not, use resources for survival or research, and confront conflicts or evade them. The future is up to you.

Chris, the red pips on your health bar are locked because of radiation exposure. You need to heal the radiation before you can heal the health it blocks.
He actually picked up the anti-rad meds while saying something about he wonders why the healing item won't work 🤣
He'll figure it out after a while.

Everyone really seems to be really cool with the whole opening gates with green crystals thing in this world...
Considering there are green monsters walking and teleporting around, A green portal would not be so strange for them.
Eye of Moscow is a breathtaking construction
You can see it on a guided trip to Pripyat. It was a huge radio telescope aimed at the west. constructed for the sole purpose of detecting intercontinental missiles and ear dropping on radiocomunication

It's so frustrating and hilarious to see Chris forgetting that there are expire dates to the missions and absolutely making the worst possible choices 😅. This is a badass game tho and thus far I've loved your playthrough.

I wonder if for some of your videos you could do an afterword where you like look up things about the lore - theres so many stories that i recall you doing that ended abruptly

Chris, your max health is reduced due to radiation, similar to Fallout 4. Cure your rads and then use a healing salve to bring your health up.
I wish these episodes were longer
So we have the Physicist, the Hardened Soldier, and the Comic Relief (who has depth).
All together on an adventure of mystery, horror, possible redemption, and love. Season one of this show has been good so far, ha.
This is opening up wonderfully. I'm really enjoying the game and looking forward to every episode.
Im still at the beginning of the episode but There was a locked door you could have picked on the map before you tp'd out in the beginning of the episode, but I guess it doesn't really matter since you'll come back there anyway.

U also need to look at what u can build in the zone for they do remain thier inless destoryed by your foes
You don't need to carry any base resources on you.
it bothers me way too much that you couldn't do both, I dont know how to explain the reason, it's like tell-tale where it just forces you one extreme way

One of the buildings accessible with lockpicks has a bench in the back room that once unlocked gives you a permanent place to craft more lockpicks and other stuff in that region btw...
