My Mom has been making something like this ever since I was younger 😊 and it has ALWAYS been a favorite..plus considering that you just add everything to the CrockPot, it's something quick, easy & delicious to throw together during the busy school & work week as you juggle after school activities & homework instead of settling into a habit of fast food..I've since made it my own, adding some "heat" and waiting til its ready before I put it over the Fritos or tortilla chips..thats just another cool thing about this, you can add in whatever your Family likes..I think you are ABSOLUTELY Adorable & I have enjoyed making & recreating your recipes for my own Family..Even my Mom has now subscribed to your channel..She even said that she actually enjoys my version better than her own, that shes been throwing together since I was in elementary school..When it comes to my Family, you just cant go wrong with anything "taco" related..I even sneak in some veggies from time to time 🙃😋🫣🤫 Thanks for sharing with Us Ryan & PLEASE keep em' coming 😊 xx Happy Fall ~ I cant wait to see what you've got in store for Winter 😁

These delicious foods we all like to eat are great, but not very healthy. Adding veggies will make me feel a little better about myself whilst enjoying everything in that crock pot.
I give you permission to buy whatever brands you prefer, use your own diy taco seasoning mix and peel/shred your own potatoes. The cooking police will not show up at your home if you make recipe substitutions to fit your preferences and budget.
Id use beans instead of meat, shredd my own potatoes and cheeze and buy spices from bulk. Add an onion. There's always ways to economize...depends on how many mouths you have to feed. Choose whatever meets your needs.

What was the point of cooking this in a crock pot when it could just as easily been put into an oven as a casserole and been ready sooner? It does look tasty, but I would make the changes mentioned above, in addition to adding more green chiles.
