This poor woman gets so many snarky comments. She makes basic food that is affordable, made with a loving spirit, give her a break. By the way, do you all wash your cans, cheese packages, hamburger and milk jugs before you cook with them? She put her cheese box in for demonstration purposes and then boiled the dish which should kill most germs, good grief.

You call that Mac and cheese 🧀 affordable? What are you smoking, Gomer? That was about $15 or more for that one dish. That is expensive

Most amazing Chef, the new Martha Stewart! She's demonstrating how she cooks for herself and family.!! No home chef I know of wears gloves, washes cans or bags and never have I seen Martha clean out a jar with a spatula when demonstrating!! The girl is amazing and brilliant, give her credit.

One of my favorite crockpot meals I used to make years ago was a meat spaghetti sauce recipe I got from an Italian friend in the latter 1960's when I stayed with her & her mother and it was served for dinner. It had the typical ingredients: hamburg, tomatoes/sauce/paste, onions, mushrooms, herbs/salt & pepper & one additional ingredient not usually in the meat sauce, 1/4 cup of vermouth, but don't remember if it was dry or sweet. Too many years have passed.
Now that Fall is here, time to dig out the crockpot & cook up some recipes!

@@veroniquesil7750quick question, do you work a full-time 40+ hour a week job? Because I work 16+ hour days at my job and there is no way I have the time to cook everything from scratch or use fresh ingrediants every day. I also by no means eat these kinds of meals regularly and sometimes all I have time for due to working long hours is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I feel like you are being way too judgemental of others and these are just examples of basic easy recipes people can make from time to time using whatever ingredients and substitutes they choose. Nobody eats like that every day! Come on use your head and stop believing everything you see on the internet.

These commenters are aware the USA has a real health crisis and poor choices with unhealthy food products are the #1 reason. Big business pumps out the poison and the "health" industry CEO's and stockholders get wealthier. If the people would just research intelligently there would be less children suffering at St Judes and in hospitals around the world. Say what you will, healthy clean organic food cooked in a healthy manner cures. One thing you can do is stop using seed oils and switch to high grade cold pressed virgin olive oil. Just that one thing. I was supposed to die 40 years ago. Research and a diet change made the difference. My sweet Chi had maybe 6 months to live in 2020 said two Vets. Again research and diet change with good supplements and he is still here. Monitoring stress, healthy excercise and doing what gives you joy is important yet diet is key to good health. Please, just give it a try.

My 30 years of being a wife and a mother are screaming NO!😬 If you really want macaroni and cheese you can make it with everything fresh in under 20 minutes (with the exception of the pasta). I would use dried pasta for macaroni and cheese. Several different kinds of fresh grated cheese (I don't like pre shredded becausethe anti caking stuff they use is gross) , milk, mustard, mustard powder, cayenne (whatever spices you like), a tempered egg, fresh jalapeños, crispy bacon. . .the options are endless in mac and cheese.

Velveeta may look like cheese, smell like cheese, and even taste like cheese, but it is technically classified as a “pasteurized process cheese product.” Though Velveeta was originally made from real cheese (sure it was runoff, but still), it is now mainly whey protein concentrate, milk protein concentrate, milk, fat, and preservatives. It’s cheese adjacent.

The Velveeta is processed cheese. I used to made nachoes in big crock pots for gatherings for years, then finding out Velveeta is processed, i dont use it. But i would for a big pitch in, for just my household no..... Proceed Velveeta!!!
It does make good mac & cheese but, i make pasta salads now, with fresh olives, chopped onions, shread carrots, and shreaded cheese i can shread myself on kitchen aid mixer. With Kens Sweet Vidalia Onion dressing.
    Delicious!!

3 points of nasty! 1) when putting salt in and you rub your hands together, doesn't matter if they're clean or not, you leave your DNA in the food. 2) when tasting the dip you always put your mouth over the dip that's supposed to be shared with other people, when you do that you drop saliva and food pieces into the dip. And 3) This one is just my opinion. Bacon in everything and bacon period is nasty.
