How cute. This reminds me of how my grandmother's cats love sleeping on my aunt's laptop, and how another aunt's cat also sleeps on said laptop regardless if it's in use or not. We even had one cat who wanted to stay near the laptop but we removed him(or her) out and he(she) clung to the keyboard and plucked one of the keys out. :)

@TheBestPeki Monitor's aren't that brittle, it takes more to ruin one. Using Fairy to clean the screen for example (it peeled off most of the protective layer and we had to get a new monitor). The cat was mighty confused when she discovered a flat LCD screen instead of her favourite sleeping place. =(

She's on the monitor because it's warm and provides and excellent viewpoint. Sometimes she stands there like the Lion King on the rocky ledge.

She likes to sleep in the lap, but doesn't enjoy petting all that much. Only sometimes and very sparsely.
It is also funny to see cats growling at other cats on the T.V. ! This is good LOL!!
