Thank you man. In real life it is so much more breathtaking. As soon as we set thrust to flex 42 I got pushed back into my seat and the aggresive roar of the engines kicked in
There is a vibration noise this engine makes having the RB 2-11 in its DNA but it's supposed to sound like a purring kitten. Not a screaming banshee, an hour of that noise would be unbearable.
8:20 Stabilized (~30% I think ?) thrust followed by take off thrust. 9:50 Reduced climb thrust! 10:29 less mentioned, underrated, flaps retraction sound!
I love it and it excites me to be inside and feel the enormous power and POWER of the thrust of the engines. It's like a drug but without side effects. // Me encanta y me emociona estar dentro y sentir la enorme potencia y PODER del empuje de los motores. Es como una droga pero sin efectos secundarios.
My favorite part of the plane is sitting in a seat row in front of the engine's, Especially during take off which is not my favorite, But I love listening the roar sound of the engines
@@melbourneaavgeek9757 So like in Airbus planes, there's 3 Thrust settings for the engines: TOGA, FLX/MCT and CL. On most flights, during takeoff FLX/MCT is used. TOGA is used if the takeoff is heavy or due to runway conditions. CL is used to maintain climb level thrust.
@@melbourneaavgeek9757 Ty for the correction. I know the SRS Runway, Autothrust blue, but didn't mention it to keep the comment short. Is FLEX '42' a specified setting as the thurst setting is always calculated on performance out of a lot of variables like runway length, fuel, Pax, cargo, wheater temp. Etc.
Such a good seat, such a good sound, such a good climb and what an amazing plane
Flown by Singapore Airlines, one of the world's best airlines
That would be the LAST seat on that plane I would want to sit in . . you couldn't hear yourself think all the way to your destination . .
One of the cleanest Trent XWB takeoff sounds I've found. That throttle back at 09:50 was aggressive too. Fantastic work!
Aggressive indeed

Wow that has got to be one of the best engine sounds I have ever heard 8:26 and 9:51. Beautiful video!
Wow how beautiful!! Also that thrust-reduction at 09:53 was beautiful! Love this sound, fantastic video!!

Awesome view and beautiful sound of this beast engine.
yes such a beast engine indeed. Best seat on the A350. Amazing veiw and sound.

Sounded amazing
Never Knew RR Trent were supplying engines to Airbus, new one on me
Nice video quality & sound. Makes me want to fly somewhere again!

Awesome machines. I can't imagine how it feels to pilot one of these.... there is so much machine there like 200ft plus long?
Yes it’s like 240 ft but there’s a longer version that’s even bigger 👀

Best wishes for good flight.

😍😍
The best a350 takeoff you have had imo this and the one from July from Mel-sin SQ218
Yes I agree
Excellent video -- many thanks! Can you tell us (1) which airline, (2) which destination, and (3) any other particulars about the flight?
Singapore Airlines, destination possibly Singapore
Singapore airlines, sq208 from melbourne to singapore

That engine is not right. You don't hear number 1 making that noise. That was a short hop. Is it an emergency landing?
Where was this one headed?
singapore!

why not?

That was an abruptly derate of the engine from Man FLX To/Ga mode to CL
Not toga. It was flex 42. "Man flex 42 srs runway authothrust blue" would have been the callout. If it was toga: Man toga srs runway autothrust blue.

what do you mean theres no growl. The buzzsaw can clearly be heard. You def do not know anything about aviation
The growl is from the propeller shockwave with the air, not the engine itself
