    I just bought a 2004 Denali xl that has this message on the dash. I would like to repair the system, this a great start for us home diy'ers trying to save money.
    I look forward to the next part of this series, I am going to go pick up the vehicle soon and check all the fuses you mentioned.

    Hi there thanks for help. I have 2003 Yukon Denali I check there is compressor not work. So I change the new compressor buy Amazon after install it’s sound on next day no sound. Then I check the both shocks crack so I buy new both shocks it’s air shocks today I change both shocks but also Amazon. But still compressor not on I check you told fuse all is ok so what I do next ?

    • @notsofast2325
      @notsofast2325  Рік тому +2

      well i would put power directly to the compressor , once it goes on get a spray bottle with water and soap and go around and spray all your lines and shocks and see if any bubbles form. if you see any fix those areas. if the compressor does not come on your compressor is bad. the next thing is check your levelers.make sure they are set correctly. thats my 2cents.

    I still have my 03 Yukon Denali XL just shy of 300,000 miles. Needs a paint job now, and she has a few little issues but its a great truck and it has taken our family across the country more times than I can count. Now, i'm stuck with a few small issue I need fixed before my next big move: I have a parasitic electrical drain that I can't figure out. I've watched a few video's on how to troubleshoot but nothing is really working. If I don't drive or start engine for 2 or 3 days, battery is completely dead. all I can do now is physically disconnect the battery until I need to go somewhere which is kind of a pain. Any thoughts?

    • @notsofast2325
      @notsofast2325  Рік тому +3

      well the cheap way is to install a kill switch. there are many types. figure out one that you can afford. they cost $5 buck to $100 bucks. ones you can put on your battery or ones that have a fob, and ones that you can use your cell phone. is you have check everything. Try checking your BCM body control modual you may have a bad computor. good luck.

    My engine light will not reset. After diagnostics hit on the "purge valve" I replaced the old valve with new. Then took the steps to reset check light. It went away for a couple of months then came back on. I then had another diagnostics and it read the code for purge valve again. Being new I took the valve off cleaned it real good and put back on. Took steps to reset check engine light. Check engine light then wldnt reset. For good measure did another diagnostic test and it codes for purge valve still. The purge valve is too new and clean so I don't know what's going on. I cringe everytime I look down to see my check engine light on

    Actually your info is not completely accurate, What many of you have mist is the front shocks. If you have replaced the front shock at one point or another you may have this issue as well. Reason been that ,majority of mechanics have no clue that the connectors to the front shocks are screwed and are not push or pull to release them. Doing that breaks the connector and then voila you get the service ride control light. I learn this the hard way. The mechanic that replaced mine pulled the crap out of them, and not only now they can no longer be screwed on as they should, he also broke the small cover that protects the actual connector. If they are not screwed properly they get loose and the light comes on, now they need to be replaced with new ones.
