I just did this on my hair last week and it is this thick and long. I kept getting asked was it a weave so much that I just got to the point of straightening it back out. LOL!. It's low maintenance though and just a nice summer style.

Gorgeous heat is bad for hair and I think thick corase hair shouldn't be straightened cause it will get damaged after all it is naturally like that so why making it flat this is the best way for keeping such hair healthy and beautiful. Nice work.

I'm a hairstylist. You should always use end papers to protect the ends of your hair to pevent breakage. Also sleeping with a silk bonnet on at night and when your in the shower wear the bonnet then water proof shower cap that. Her hair was rolled on small flexi rods and small sections which will give you the illusion that you have thick hair. It looked thick to me before it was set.Also with the setting lotion it could have been a volumizer lotion to give extra body or fullness or both.

I love that look because it's going to get fluffy by the passing day so if I were to have this style done, I'd wear it like that for 2 days then make it unto the fluffy afro like in the other previous videos...I'm glad that you were able to show us what the style looked like with low manipulation...thanks for sharing...
