This is one of my favorite movies because of the little girl, and because at the time I saw it, I didn't know if I really cared to live or not, I felt alone and empty. The movie brought me to deep and profound questions and thoughts, and it brought me joy. I recommended the movie to a couple at the library when i saw them pick it up and look at the cover, and they checked the movie out of the library, and came back in and gave me an angel pin because I had been their angel in recommended what looked to be a beautiful film. I still have that pin. It meant the world to me. Those were times when, if someone working in a store smiled and said hello, I would think, they have no idea how much that means to me...
Incredible documentary, just outstanding. Bravo! Like a hologram (together with the movie itself) opens up new boundaries of the understanding of this story (stories), new apprehension.
these are called "treatment' films where director knows what kind of image is in his mind for his script away from conventional way of film making, and the entire effect is revealed only in final cut polish and screening thereafter.
According to Tarsem, he was worried that after months of filming, if the crew knew he wasn't actually wheelchair bound, they might get too comfortable and joke about it. He didn't want the girl to see them joking and have it change the way she looked at the character and in turn affect her acting. Only a few crew members knew Lee Pace could actually walk. it was in an effort to immerse to the crew and cast I guess
Don't project your own evil thoughts on to them, if you want to make up scenarios in your head about there interactions, then that's your problem not theirs. Maybe you should explore your inner demons, you might find elements of a larger problem with in you!!
Jokes on you cause those are YOUR projections. I'm sure you now a lot about demons. Their where comments on other videos stating that the interactions between Lee and Catinca where all just innocent natural conversations catched on film. That's obviously not true. Their was a whole lot off pressure on that child an the way Tarsem Singh spoke to her seems a little bit off to me. If you don't glimpse that, thats up to you. I'm pretty sure now a days they wouldn't talk to childs on set like that. Other than that I'm sure Lee and the other Crewmembers where really supportive and nice with Catinca.

I have always wanted to see it but avoided it as I don't want to break my damn heart. 😕
There should be a celebration of this film. All the people who think it’s the finest film ever should watch it together. Someday.
Hell Yeah

One of the most visually stunning films ever
This movie is so beautiful and the story is amazing.
A hidden gem ❤
I hope Tarsem will make more movies, he is so talented and creative.
I hope this film eventually gets a resurgence in popularity. It is truly a work of art.
My favourite film of all time
It's an incredible movie
Thank you, Tarsem, for your vision that became our shared vision of wonder.
If satoshi kon, the maker of legendary animes like paprika, ever to direct live action movies, then it would be tarsem

Crying, crying, more crying.

Thank you, is the best film ever
Screaming at the kid to cry 😢
he screamed at her to cry until she did for real, then complained that she wasn't doing it in front of the camera
I will make a trip to India, visit all the places in the movie.
Why can’t I get this dvd in an American format? Very frustrating. 🥺
Tarsem is a genius
Very nice!!

Wow
They made the girl believe that Pace was actually paraplegic?
Yes, her and most of the crew.
