my first elantra battery lasted 3 years. I bought another dealer battery and now i charge it every week with a maintenaner and i’m on 4 years and the battery tests strong still.
Thanks for the great video. An additional note. On my 2019 Tucson I needed to remove the battery clamp and slide the battery to the right in order to clear the positive wire assembly termal. My 2019 Tucson has an additional air unit on the motor side of the battery not shown in the video.

Generally that's not a problem , the only thing that will reset is your radio. I have made a special device which is nothing but a 12v 30amp powersupply with a 130/100w h4 bulb in series. And long leads that i hook up to the battery cable before disconnecting them..this leaves the car energised but the series bulb acts as a current limiting device incase i short the 12v to the chasis or a tool.
I can say with 100% certainty that this tutorial got us through changing outer own battery and saved us over $150 😳 THANK YOU SIR! 🙌🏼

You can get 5 to 7 years out of a battery if you're lucky.

keep a second 12V source hooked up so the computers don't reset themselves when you're changing batteries.
