Tom these videos make my week every week. I work data entry for my 'pay the bills' job right now and then go home, work out, and then work on my novel for the rest of the day. The dream is to one day be on the New York Times Bestseller list and when the hours at the data entry job get particularly draining, hearing your interviews with these amazing individuals help keep my spirits up and my work ethic thriving. I genuinely appreciate you, your entire team, and everything you guys do for the hopefuls of this world. Thank you for all the amazing work!
Tom, This is my first ever comment on youtube. I feel obliged to say thank you for creating such amazing videos. I look forward to every Tuesday. I live in UK and checked youtube more than a dozen times today. I hear these videos when I am down, demotivated, or even when I am feeling upbeat. I feel that the number of views on these videos are no justice to the quality of the content. I really wish and hope that millions of people watch them and learn from them. Thank you again for introducing to all these amazing people who have achieved so much regardless of any limitations .
Yeah true, but I am true that in a few month from now this show is going to get to a bigger audience. It is just too good to not have more views. The problem is most of the views are from people who already are interested in getting better and the ones who aren`t working on themselves who need to see this, have no access and those people are the majority which has to be address to increase the views. So we as a community need to spread this content as much as possible xD
Tom! How can I explain my emotions right now. There’s something that your soul says in your questions to your guest. You are a sharp shooter in the arena of getting the canvas to show its layers of beauty. You are conducting so eloquently. Your guest’s words along your inquisitiveness is like art being brushed by thought by question by by beautiful respect ✊
I'm glad she shared her vulnerability. I never knew this about her or her upbringing! WOW!! She's right you can't judge a book about its cover because she probly was looked at to be perfect because of who her father was but after all she's been through and actually learned from her mistakes she came put on top! I'm so proud of her. Capricorns rule!!!
This interview was really great for more than one reason. But the one that stands out the most, is that she picked up quickly how amazing Tom is, and the energy that flowed between both of them, understanding the greatness in each other was phenomenal. Something I really haven't seen in any other interview.
I've written this about some fighters before, that when a fighter has some intelligence and can articulate well, the fact that fighting is MUCH more 'mental' than most people realize, along with their natural or learned fearlessness, they will undoubtedly be someone worth listening to! Then with Laila Ali you add "easy -on-the-eyes" as well!
It's Jan 2020 and I'm just now viewing this most inspirational interview with Laila. I must say that it was everything I needed to hear right now at this moment. I love the fact that Laila can still be her most authentic self after the heights of her success! I will read the book and I'm not in my twenties. Laila YOU are not only motivational, you are an inspiration to not only the young but to ALL. Keep pushing Laila...THANK YOU for being you! Tom, you now have a new subscriber. Better late than never, right!
Authentic, wise, lovable, balanced, engaging and inspiring, Laila Ali, everyone should read your story and hear this interview. I will return to listen to this interview when I need more clarity, strength and direction. Grateful for you and in addition, you are truly amazing and beautiful. Spot on!!! Talented Tom, thank you. I look forward and will continue listening. You have a new dedicated subscriber.
I assumed like everyone else, that she got into boxing because of her dad. I ddin't want to listen to this interview BUT I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo glad I did! Just ordered her book!! Had no idea about her story. Definitely thought she was a regular rich kid. Much respect!!
Wow. Leila really spoke to me. She’s fierce and loving at the same time. Great interview as usual. Tom, your thoughtful questions and listening skills make great interviews.
Truly an amazing tough woman with admirable set of values. Yet graceful and pragmatic approach to success realization. Great choice Tom, raw, authentic content!
Top Interview. Layla is the real deal and you sir are a great host. Each person's story is different. I agree that those who come from difficult childhoods tend to do great things in life. It's 50-50 the odds. Some never make it some make it through. They go through the pain and they embrace it and they own it like Layla . That's wonderful. I am on my way into making it too. Keep it coming Tom you are great.
Have always been the most ardent admirer of her late father. She may, or may not like this, I admire her, she is wonderful. The point I am making is, they have the same personality. She is such a natural woman, knowing exactly what, and when to say. Oozing with confidence, just like her great Father setting the world alight at interviews.
Wow! This story really resonates with me. I was locked up at 13 and 14 too, and left in for a couple weeks the first time. Then I was emancipated at 15, got in more trouble, and was most likely going to be sent to a group home situation for two years. I ended up dropping out and living 'on the streets'...I feel so lucky to have made it out alive and fairly functional!
i came across your touching comment in the grieving of love ones post here on face book. Well am really sorry about that okay 😒☹and I know how it feels to be lonely without our love ones, we've all lost our love ones in death one way or the other, either a spouse, child, family members, or a true friend that meant the world to us, such is life I understand how you feel but life must move on because death is inevitable no matter how hard we try! And we'll all have to face it someday or somehow...
One awesome thing about her is that even tho she seems tough and strong and hardcore she still seems very kind and gentle and someone whom one could easily talk to. Sometimes gals like her just seems way too intimidating 😆 Great interview!
So so so glad I got to learn more about Laila's story, she is awesome, immediately went on to get her book. Also, gotta say I completely agree with your "distressing" theory about childhood adversity igniting hunger and hustle, that's my story as well. Love you both xx
Authenticity in Laila Ali is so real, Thank you Tom and the Team for bringing :Laila I really didn't know her that much as after the interview I've learnt a lot from her. But Tom the is something I am missing about the podcast Q&A with the guest audience getting a chance to ask them question please that segment back into Impact theory.
You have such an amazing ability when it comes to interviewing people! This was so inspiring and juicy. Wow, she is one seriously incredibly wise, powerful, fiercely passionate, driven and authentic Woman! Cant wait to read her book! 100% Inspire by this. Thank you for another AMAZING video. With an abundance of gratitude Aloka :)
I had no idea that Ms. Ali had a book or such a tough childhood. I think she's on the path to being a billionaire or better with the right people. I'm one of the people that could use her help and I look forward to working with her. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Thanks so much dept . Her second husband used time to our barbershop and get his hair cut always had time to talk to us and give guidance love love and more love
Thanks for telling my story! We have so much in common! Beautiful, tough, but vulnerable, authentic, transparent, sexy but classy and most of all humble. No matter how successful you are you kept a realistic view of yourself and that is what made you a triple threat. Absolutely fascinating!!!
amazing interview with Laila Ali. Completely inspirational. congratulations Laila for the great work you're doing, for being who you are and for inspiring others. Thanks Tom for doing this great interviews 👍👍👍

I think back.. decades ago ...where my family saw Laila as a baby and her mother Veronika... This was at her fathers camp north east. Lovely little baby.. :)
Hi your shows really beautiful and I feel proud to listen to it. What am I taking away from it is love yourself. Be proud of who you are. Plan what you want. See what you want. Self talk, educate yourself and see yourself and have passion and drive for what you want. Thank you Leila for sharing your story, it's so fascinating especially being Mohammed Ali daughter. I totally loved your talk and thank you Tom for bringing us such great people . I don't normally listen to your show but I'm glad I did.
Tom, for a person who wants to transition from a lazy chill person to someone like you ( get yourself to do things you dont want to do) , what kind of beliefs did you start with? and what routines did you first build into your life to get fit, rise up the ranks etc
Laila Ali, she was a grate Woman, So well good attitude, excellent mental Strength, I never seen like any other in the boxing courts. She's absolutely fantastic women. Keep up well 👍
Tom this is an amazing interview!! You’ve interviewed Firas there is a year or more, my question is when will you have on your show Georges St-Pierre ( GSP ) ? The greatest MMA fighter in my opinion, just saying 😉. We are from the same hood ✌🏻
Yep. Go through his videos. Go through his book reviews. Just reverse engineer my friend! No need to figure it out when the information is everywhere. You just need to be relentless for what it is that you want to do my friend!

Agreed about her vulnerability! That's what makes her so special!

She is just as amazing as her lineage. Tom you did it again.
She comes off as so authentic and real which is so refreshing xx

One of my favorite phrases is "get bitter or get better", and another is "you can pout and miss out, or you can get what you get and LOVE it".
she covered almost every aspect of positive change. truely gifted human being.
That's a really down to earth ep. No sugar coating, straight forward. Loved it. Another great guest!
