Love watching Tom and his team work. I’m almost 66 years young now and I have been flying a desk for many years now - but I was never in better shape than when I worked for my brother-in-law’s concrete company and then owned my own! It’s tough, hard, honest work but I loved it. One of the coolest things is driving around the Atlantic City area and seeing the tens of thousands of yards of concrete we poured that still looks amazing.

Mike, I mentioned this to Tom on his channel. I remember him on job sites that I was on as well, BEFORE he started on his own! He was with, and did learn the correct way for work, from him. We both are "older" LOL

PERFECTION!!! Man, alive...that was sump'n, sho 'nuff! Tom is the epitome of professionalism and he seems to have such a great demeanor. For sure, I'll be recommending this episode to people, especially those who are considering concrete work. Shoot! I'll bet he'll put the fire under some other contractors who just "pour" concrete, because Tom manicures it!
So, y'all should do a road show for this stuff...and come on down to Mississippi where we can guarantee you temps about 90º and humidity above 90%! Our weather will make a MAN out of a worker and a wimp out of a ... well, a wimp who goes inside and watches TV.

It's amazing to see how a good crew can make pouring a big pad like that look so easy this is coming from a guy that has poured big pads with out a good crew & knows it ain't easy which is probably why I hate pouring concrete them boys have it together for sure but my back & knees still hurt from watching them
Orange, Texas when i was contracting, 104 Degrees F with 90% Humidity... HOT here yesterday today 102 August is the hot month... love the vids

That "Twister" gun is something else, I tied rebar by a reel & bullnose pliers for 40 years. When they came out with bag ties and a twisty twirly we thought that was so cool, now they got a gun that ties it. what will they think of next

Very handy rebar tier Tom was using, and I looked on Amazon at prices and saw some a lot less expensive, but probably not the quality of the one he bought and needs. I bet the company that makes the brand Tom bought could sell them for half that price and still make a very nice profit, but perhaps they are used to eating Wagyu Filet Mignon instead of Ribeye steaks.
