💥 Great to see you and glad you made it home safe! Thanks for taking our weather with you. It’s above freezing today! 😁👍 Funny looking guy at 7:15 *Keep on tractoring!*
Hi Mike and Melissa- Thanks again for making the trip tp Minneapolis- sorry for the cold weather- 50- 60 degrees now! Sounds like you are happy to be home and back in the woods!
I know how you feel about cities, and I'm only about 8 miles from downtown. Thank goodness for youthful kids, brave enough to take me with them to the occasional event! Went to the Home and Garden Show for the first time in years, and enjoyed it! So much to see and prospects for inside and out...if you can afford them!!!
I'm with you, I can deal with with being in a big city or city, but I am always happy when it's time to leave and go back home. Happy that you and Melissa had a great time and safe travels both ways. Stay safe and warm!
Been a long enough winter. It’s funny on every channel I watch and everyone I talk to at home, we are all ready for spring! Here in Oklahoma we’ve had a lot of snow this year, much more than normal. Everybody is ready for spring to show up.
Hey Mike your magnetic personality drew all the snow and cold back with you. That's why the plane taxied around getting snow oriented to follow you haha
Sure is nice to have a slab to move your implements around. I just built a tractor shed for my green machine and made a dolly for my bucket and snowblower. Makes changing over much quicker and keeps things organized.
I used to fly once a month from Minneapolis to NYC and the flight was always at least an hour late. I remember one time boarding an hour and a half late, pushing away from the gate, traveling around the airport, and then waiting another hour. They put on a movie, Groundhog Day, and we finally took off at the closing credits. Got to NYC at 2:15 AM. Never had an on time flight out of there.
I watch Live on Patrol on Friday night. The Ramsey Co. sheriff patrols in St. Paul MN on facebook and UA-cam with a live feeds. The past several weeks it’s been super cold. I’m amazed on how many people are out after 10 pm. We had a very cold weekend and I just wanted to stay in here in Kentucky. Those people that live there has ice in their veins. It’s a beautiful city, but in the summer!!!!!
Thanks for taking us along on another one of your trips. Mike, your comment that you really are not cut out for the city, brought back memories of traveling with our boys when they were very young , back through Toronto from North Eastern Ontario and one of them need an emergency pit stop. We took an alternative highway to downtown to a restaurant district and (my) Melissa got the out of the car and all I heard was "What is that terrible smell mommy??" - she simply replied "It is the city and all the car exhaust/pollution". To this day the choose to live in areas close to our rural home, with all the glorious aromas associated with an agricultural community - like you - they just aren;t cut our for the city. Looking forward to see what you have in store for this year!!!
Thank you Mr. Mike and Melissa I had fun at the show seein' y'all there . I like getting the chain saw out sometimes too . I don't got the equipment like you do , but I know how it all works . It really is nice to live the video's a bit . Newaz keep up the good work !!
Back in early 70's, my high school band went to Moorhead Minnesota, landed in Fargo ND temp was -23f wind was blowing 26mph, we were from Dallas TX froze everywhere
Greetings M. & M. from S. E. Ohio. Had 8" snow Saturday morning & 0 degrees this morning. On brighter side warm weather this week. Glad you enjoyed your trip. Give Hunter a Hello for me & have a great day
Thanks Mike & Melissa for bringing us along on your trip, nice to get out and see and do a few things!! Yes you and I both are tired of the winter it's been long enough!! Looks like we have a nice little warm up this coming week!! 😊👍👊
Thanks Mike and Melissa for taking us along on your trip to Minneapolis, it was a great show and a fun time with the different venders there. I have to agree with you about the city, really don't enjoy them too much except for the different places to eat. We do enjoy the great foods but don't like the traffic and crowds of people. You all stay safe and keep having fun. Fred.
Glad to see you made it home safe. It was great to meet you. Just got home from cutting a couple truck loads of firewood, it's in the mid 40's here now.
I can’t believe the wok you do even filming the show. Thank you for the interesting sights especially the raptors. Glad to see you had a safe trip! Wayne.
Sorry that you missed the Downhill Bed run at Buck Hill which was this weekend. Teams in costume ride mattresses down the ski runs for charity. Maybe next year!
Mike - Another winner. Looked like you were just glad to be home, and looking for things to do to get moving, and finally decided to play in the snow a bit. Blessings to you and the family. Hi to Melissa, Hunter, Levi, Eva, and the pooches.
Mike Friday and Saturday were pretty cold days here in Nw Iowa so it's about 10 degrees cooler up in Minneapolis. But today at noon it was in the middle 50's already so warmer weather is coming your way Monday or Tuesday. I loved the video you posted yesterday loved the raptors. Now you know why I left Cleveland Ohio after I graduated from high school as I hate big cities and where I end up after graduation is where my dad was born and the population when I moved here was 1250 ppl and now it's over 1500 as we gained some businesses and a awesome museum of old trucks it's called Memories Museum it's on Facebook and every week they post a new vehicle and all about it and they have the vehicle in the museum. Surprised there wasn't more people walking around as March Madness has started and its usually swamped with people everywhere. Excited to see your changeover coming. Say hello to Hunter for me.
Yeah I know what u mean I tried when I was younger I moved to Richmond va for a job its not a big city but for what I was used to it was huge I moved out about 25 miles out of the city I couldn't stand being there all the time lol but some people love it not me
I'm with you Mike, I live seventy miles north of Green Bay, a small city by big city standards, and I wouldn't want to be any closer. Love the rural to remote life!
Follow you home and chased us here in New England. 40 degrees with rain then plummeted into 20s with feels like of 12 degrees. Got locked on my porch... froze the storm door. Lol
Mike, a couple of ideas on what you could use the "bladders" from the totes; (1) cut off the top and use the bladder for a worm farm...or a planter....(2) cut off the top and make it a recycle bin flattened aluminum cans and such.
Hello Mike and Milessa, Thanks for another nice video and for showing us around the show. Seeing you there reminded me how blessed we are to be living in the most wonderful country in the world. There's a lot of good in the United States. Too bad the media doesn't show us more of it. Glad we have channels like yours to lift our spirits. BTW We saw our first Robin this AM. I was born on the first day of spring and we just turned the clocks forward. Yeeeee Haaaaa! Stay well. Shalom/gw PS I was glad to see that Wallenstein processor had the "correct" chainsaw on it. LOL :-))
Glad to see ya made it. The weather warmed up A LOT today in Minnesota you might have left a day too early, because if you two took a walk around, you’d definitely enjoy it.
The company I worked for leased some buildings on the west side of the Twin Cities. One of them had several 30 to 40' tall spruce. One day we had a windstorm and a couple of the trees blew over. The interesting thing is, they blew over with the root ball that was created by a huge tree space when they were transplanted over a decade earlier. So the roots never expanded beyond the root ball. You could definitely see the shape of the individual blades of the tree spade.
Looks like a good show...more snow!...still nice weather out our way...had some ligt rain...who won hnow long will it take for the snow pile to melt... thanks 4 video. be kind.
When I flew for my job I would go through Pittsburgh even when they opened up their new state-of-the-art new circular terminal and I had to laugh because I had to walk so much more further in the new terminal but at least they had some really nice stores and restaurants and prepare to do the taxi marathons every time you takeoff but landing your right at your terminal very quickly. I just shook my head and laughed!
Thanks for taking us along. Your reference to the weather/temps reminds me of the only stay my wife and daughter had in Minneapolis Memorial day weekend of 2018 when temps were also brutal - 100 deg F. Locals mentioned single digit temps and deep snow only 2 months earlier. (Personally I prefer the cold compared to the heat).
I live in Minnesota and the summers can be brutal with the high Temps and high humidity. I've been in Phoenix when it was 111°F in the shade. It didn't faze me a bit! I do love winter here although it's been getting a little warm. I may have to move up to the border! I missed the downhill bed racing at Buck Hill. It's a yearly charity race. The contestants wear costumes also!
I'm with you regarding big cities. I was born and raised in big cities out west, now I live in rural Michigan in a 22 acre forest, no looking back. Heading out now to cut some firewood.
We got 1 1/2 IN of rain Saturday Moring and it later turned into snow with a high of 33 degrees. The wind was around 45 mph, it was bad day. Sunday Morning it was 15 degrees with some wind. It is starting to warm up with a high of 50 degrees. Like you I am ready for Spring here in NC.
My first thought when I saw you out with the shovel was, why is he shoveling the frost off his driveway???. Up here in Saskatchewan, Canada we just drive on it till it melts...lol. But great video as always and love those shows you guys go to and to see all the new stuff coming out. Melissa your smile is helping to light up the world...don't ever stop. see you guys on the next one. God Bless.

Hey Mike your magnetic personality drew all the snow and cold back with you. That's why the plane taxied around getting snow oriented to follow you haha

I am glad to see that you had a awesome time. I think that I seen on the weather Channel that you had 10 inches of snow.
It looks like you and Melissa had a good time at the show. Met some nice people also. That log splitter was very interesting to hear about. Stay safe.
Thanks for taking us along. You could have stopped by with some firewood…lol I’m in Red Wing
We ended up with snow also. Only a few inches but I was really looking forward to warm weather after last weekend
Mike, next time use a leaf blower on the driveway to remove the snow. Esp. If it's light and fluffy.
