He grew up eating the jellied fish(ludafisck sp?) cause he said he's Jewish and it's a staple diet for Jewish people. He liked Balut especially with vinegar and salt. He hated the breakfast of the meat marinated in fat and left in the sun to ferment. You clearly didn't do ypur homework on this one sorry to say. Just do better next time.
He did another very good show on a certain cheese that had maggots in it that he described as having a real strong ammonia taste. BTW, his shows are now back on The Travel Channel as they deserve to be. His are some of my all time favorite tv shows.

I lived in Iquitos Peru and enjoy eating Suri however most Peruvians do not eat Suri. It is only eaten or found in the Amazon and it is a bizarre food to most of the rest of Peru. That said, it is truly delicious and tastes like roasted chicken skin when cooked over coals like this.

As a vegetarian with the benefit of looking from my window at 2 beautiful camels, I was disgusted at seeing these beautiful animals reduced to being slaughtered for the benefit of a cooking programme, our camels are inseparable, intelligent and affectionate to each other and to my daughter who rescued them.
