The nursery pots is such an ingenious idea. I'd been holding off on planting my alliums, waiting for the dahlias to go over and free up the nice pot. Now they're finally planted, in nursery pots. So relieved to get them out!

Great update Jill 👍, I only plant daffs in my pots as the squirrels 🐿️ tend to dig up my tulips. Tulips I can put grids over in the soil beds. Happy gardening, Ali ☔️☔️🇨🇦

Yes I have to put chicken wire over my pots. Rodents are more of a problem in my garden. Squirrels don't seem to bother me despite a woodland nearby. Must be the dogs or something putting them off. #🌷☀🇬🇧

I'm going to try your suggestion of putting tulip bulbs in nursery pots to swap with my daffodils when they've gone over - what a genius idea!
