so great. i want to propagate my blueberry bushes, as well as spindle trees. As soon as i saw your video i had to click in. can't wait to try this and see what will root. We also have goji plants that can easily root.
@@JillBretherton I just subscribed. was thinking of starting a youtube channel myself but I have so many hobbies. where to start. i have propagated so many hydrangeas to give away as gifts. Indeed nothing is better than a freebie. I am not tempted to carry some snippers everywhere i go. If i see a bush a like, i might sneakily snip a cutting...always fancied myself as a rebel gorilla gardener of sorts. Love your channel. We turned our back garden into a veg garden with reclaimed wood, mum is not happy as it looks messy - but i don't care as long as the food we grow is good enough to eat. I am worried she is getting rid of the raised beds. If she does I will just make standing planters.
@@9catlover When I read, “i have so many hobbies….” Seriously, I thought welcome to my world!!!!” I agree. i’m all for messier but more organic and productive gardens. They are way more fun. If you have a smart garden there’s nothing to do/ It’s just boring. Half the year you’re just looking out the window at it! Good luck with whatever you decide re youtube (funny I was thinking of doing another channel where I share my tips… I have 2 channels so far). Anyhow, thanks for subscribing.
Hi everyone, don't forget to share any other shrubs you have propagated successfully, in the comments.
Thanks for the video! Never thought to try the ones you mentioned, so I'll give it a go 🤞 But I've had luck with skimmia, weigela and lavender 🌱
Thank you!

Great. I love propagating plants. I find it so much more satisfying than buying them.
