I just got my IELTS results today. Listening-9.0, Reading -8.0, Speaking-7.5 and writing-6.5. Overall band score of 8.0. Thanks a lot E2. My advice to anyone else is to keep practicing and follow their methods and you’ll do great. It took me just a week with E2 on UA-cam.

Thank you E2 for helping me pass my IELTS exam. I followed all your tips from various videos and this helped me a lot. Wrote on the 16th of March and got L 8.5, R 7.5 W 7.5 S 8.0 .. overall band 8. 🥳🙏🏾

@@gulanarparakhatova7997 I can tell you that listening is just practice and practice.
I've been doing some recent ielts tests on youtube aswell as ielts books listening tests and I can guarantee you that listening is just practice and practice.
At first I was getting around 25-30 (between 6-7). After 5 days of doing 5-6 exams per day I did 38/40 in the last one and now I can easily score around 35 (some of them 36 or 37, others might be 33-34) on average.

@@gulanarparakhatova7997 Actually that was the part I feared I wasn’t gonna do well in. So I just ensured I practised as much as I could. I think that’s why it ended up being my highest score. So just practice as much as you can.
Hi, i keep getting stuck at 6.5 in reading,any suggestions on how i can improve my score?
I took an IELTS test 4 months ago and I got 6.5, yet I felt like I could do better! I started to search some videos on UA-cam and bumped into your videos. I watched them and took notes. I went to my second IELTS exam 2 weeks ago and got 7.5! THANK YOU!

How did you prepare
@@felistasjira1237 I gave myself a month to prepare. I'm not a study-under-pressure type of person. So I started with E2 to get an idea of exactly what and how ielts is structured. To understand what the exmainers require from test takers. Then towards my last week, I focused more on this lady called Asiya... Her channel is called FastTrack IELTS. To me, she explains much better on tips and tricks as compared to any other 'tutor'. She has awesome examples especially from personal experience and other test takers. And her videos are quite clear and well-organized, topic by topic. Personally, I never did any mocks - just not my thing. But guess it varies from person to person. However I did focus most on speaking as I knew it would be a challenge... I don't like giving long answers, and summary is naturally my mode of speech. But I had to learn how to fill up a single word answer. Also practiced out loud alot with friends and family on the speaking part two topics. I think I did all topics under the sun. I found speaking with others opened up more ideas on a topic for me. Rather than just recording myself speaking. Then I knew writing is most students weaknesses, so I read lots of material on how to write. This one I never wrote anything down myself. Just read. In general I practiced on all topics all throughout the four weeks, but focused most on speaking and writing as I knew those would be the weaker parts.
All the best if you haven't done yours yet! Use your strengths to plan your studies... If you have better long term memory, start earlier. If you have better short term memory, you can start later.
Key: I'm sure you know this but to emphasize, dont underestimate IELTS academic, it's harder than we think! Remember to rest between studies! This helped me alot. It allows material to be retained in your brain. Don't over do it. And I didnt study anything the day before the exam. I rested and brushed off the anxiety and went in the following day ready to face it. All the best once again!

Hi! Quite an engaging video. I wonder why your sample Part 2 is so short. You might say it’s only a demo but test takers are definitely keen on watching or listening to a response, which is at least 1 minute long. Great job, anyway!

Thank God I've reached the overall band score that is needed and I surpassed the minimum required score for each band 🤧😊 Thank GOD for you and what you do. I got 7.5 in speaking recently but unfortunately I have to take the exam again as I got 7 in listening, I needed 8 😭
I binge watched as many IELTS video could watch last week. With only 1 week to prepare, E2 helped me big time! Did not expect I could get 7 on speaking since I don't have enough time to practice. I tried using PPF.

I got 8 in speaking and I'm very disappointed because I speak English since childhood and I sound pretty natural. I was shocked when I got the results. I got 9 in both listening and reading; but 7 in writing even though I followed all your rules, used variety of sentences, answered all the questions, and used good structure. Really really disappointed :(
