Hi I scored 7.5 in speaking even though I stopped once for around 10 seconds (or more) ..the examiner had to repeat the question and I also hesitated in a couple of part 2 follow up ques but still I scored 7.5 because I used the simple yet effective methods of this video.... I used the phrase "nothing to talk home about" when asked about my home and I can tell the examiner looked a lil impressed... I spoke naturally and used good vocab as well.. thank youuuuuu so muchhhh Keith ...

This was a random suggestion that I got today and just reminded me of the time I attended IELTS last September. I'm a fluent English speaker but often due to anxiety issues, I stutter during the start of a conversation and it would completely ruin the remaining part. @@HuongLe-ic3jg there is no way to prepare and pass the speaking part of the exam just in one week. He had already been good at speaking and mastering his skills for quite a bit of time (from 6 months and more, it's rather individualiatic). There is no way to make it simple, don't be misguided.

Dear Keith! I took my IELTS last week and I landed an 8.0 score across all sections! Unfortunately, I couldn't study in a proper and timely fashion for the exam. Just two days before, I consumed all your videos regarding the "Speaking" component and what to do on the day of the exam. I used some of the expressions you mentioned, but in general, I kept it very spontaneous, simple and fluid! I didn't prepare for the Listening, Reading and Writing components, but in the end, all went very well!

The most useful lesson ever! I learnt from a lot of IELTS speaking videos and websites, but I found it difficult to understand because of complicated chunks and grammatical structures. It really helps me a lot in Part 1, and it’s not too difficult to understand but very useful. For writing part, I accidentally deleted on all of my staff (approximately 310 words) in PART 2 that I have already written. I only managed to recover 210 words of it within 10 minutes without finishing my last paragraph. However, I still get what I need for my college application in Canada🇨🇦. Thank you so much!!!

The interviewer wanted to hear more from the interviewee. Because, this company is making sure that the applicant can handle a normal conversation from his/her daily task as a customer service rep. Using 100% of their voice.

For a few months now I have been searching tirelessly for information on how to start investing. I even payed $1000 for a course that I now regret. It appears that there is no structured guidiance for beginners on how to get started in this realm. I had been done twice ielts test before I started to watch Keith’s videos and always I got 6 on speaking and then I got focused and my last test I got 7 so I would like to say thank you Keith . I have followed all your tips and advice and even the pauses and the speech which worked very well .I didn’t get 6.5 overal yet but my speaking definitely improved.
tip 1: arrive a little early because its gonna give you stress. me: i need the stress to relieve tension lol i speak a bit better if im tired or stressed because my brain doesnt have time to overthink and panic

Before that, there is this bad tutor I had who made me memorize saying sentences such as "I am over the moon that you asked me this question", to answer simple questions in the first part. Then I got 4.5, which is not surprising because these teachers made me sound like a robot. But once I started speaking more naturally and with less sentences, my scores have been higher in mock tests that I've done in an academy and in some online 1 on 1 tests with an ex- IELTS British council examiner. I totally agree on what you are saying and will now use your videos to help me prepare for my IELTS exams this week. I wish I had seen your videos much earlier, because tutors in most of our non-english speaking countries are really bad.
Golden listening tips 1- What we know and what we need to know ? 2- Keep last two lines of listening in your mind. 3- Listen for the correction 4- Listen for the synonyms and paraphrases. 5- 95 percent of the information is not tested ,so only listen for your question 6- All the options of MCQs will be spoken to confuse you. 7- Read the question line and underline the key words. key words will help you to select the correct answer. 8- Read the command line and keep in mind how many words are required to fill in blanks. 9- Listen the answers carefully then write after understanding 10- In section 3.students waste their time in reading MCQs along with their options as a result they can not read 10 questions completely and listening time ends. please read the command lines only and when the listening starts then zoom out your eyes to see all the available options. 11- Practice to focus on topics to develop concentration. 12- If the question demands one word and your brain is suggesting the answer of two words then keep it mind your answer is wrong ,its confirm. I am a Gold level IELTS Trainer.

It generally takes 14 days to get the IELTS result. In computer based exam you will get result within 5 days.

Hi Keith, I'm a customer service rep. Here in my country, the Philippines. In BPO industry interview, the keep it short and simple in introducing yourself won't work out. Why? The interviewer wanted to hear more from the interviewee. Because, this company is making sure that the applicant can handle a normal conversation from his/her daily task as a customer service rep. Using 100% of their voice.

For a few months now I have been searching tirelessly for information on how to start investing. I even payed $1000 for a course that I now regret. It appears that there is no structured guidiance for beginners on how to get started in this realm. Keep it simple in the beginning. Buy something, like an index fund, and hold. Educate yourself in the meantime and elevate your risk tolerance over time.

I had been done twice ielts test before I started to watch Keith’s videos and always I got 6 on speaking and then I got focused and my last test I got 7 so I would like to say thank you Keith . I have followed all your tips and advice and even the pauses and the speech which worked very well .I didn’t get 6.5 overal yet but my speaking definitely improved.

Before that, there is this bad tutor I had who made me memorize saying sentences such as "I am over the moon that you asked me this question", to answer simple questions in the first part. Then I got 4.5, which is not surprising because these teachers made me sound like a robot. But once I started speaking more naturally and with less sentences, my scores have been higher in mock tests that I've done in an academy and in some online 1 on 1 tests with an ex- IELTS British council examiner. I totally agree on what you are saying and will now use your videos to help me prepare for my IELTS exams this week. I wish I had seen your videos much earlier, because tutors in most of our non-english speaking countries are really bad.
Golden listening tips
1- What we know and what we need to know ?
2- Keep last two lines of listening in your mind.
3- Listen for the correction
4- Listen for the synonyms and paraphrases.
5- 95 percent of the information is not tested ,so only listen for your question
6- All the options of MCQs will be spoken to confuse you.
7- Read the question line and underline the key words. key words will help you to select the correct answer.
8- Read the command line and keep in mind how many words are required to fill in blanks.
9- Listen the answers carefully then write after understanding
10- In section 3.students waste their time in reading MCQs along with their options as a result they can not read 10 questions completely and listening time ends. please read the command lines only and when the listening starts then zoom out your eyes to see all the available options.
11- Practice to focus on topics to develop concentration.
12- If the question demands one word and your brain is suggesting the answer of two words then keep it mind your answer is wrong ,its confirm.

Finally, a teacher that says what I actually think! Most of the answers in the other videos sound fake, I can't speak as the same way I write. I would prefer to sound natural and talkative instead.
I came across this video on the 6th of August and I was speaking yesterday. I must admit that even though I saw it late I watched it a couple of times and it put me so much at ease as I did my speaking yesterday. You made it seem so easy i went with that perception into the exams and all I can say is that if i had started following you even earlier i would have aced the speaking.
