Preferably wear sth that will make you comfortable 4. Don't forget your passport or I'd (original) 5. Arrive at the venue early 6. Have something to eat 7. Have a good night's sleep prior to exam 8. Don't take ielts without first doing a mock exam 9. You will be nervous before and during the exam day but be courageous 10. Prepare well before the D-day. Thanks for sharing Mark.
11. Bring a transparent water bottle (no labels, no writing of any kind) 12. Use the loo before the test (using the loo during the listening test (30 mins) is not allowed) 13. During the reading test, use the 1 minute pre-test time to quickly read through the questions and make notes of key words / themes / names. This will help you to identify the paragraphs that contain the answers.

Hi E2 Ielts! I scheduled my IELTS academic last August 27 and took it Sept 3. For a week of self-review, I just binge watched your videos and took down tips most especially for the writing part. It was my first try and prayed to get the band score I need. After 4 days,I got my results (L:7.5,R 7.5,W 7.5,S 8.5) with band 8 overall. thanks for everything! I got my results today, Listening 8.5 Reading 8.0 Writing (made the mistake of typing 380 words in T2, the ideas just kept coming) 6.5 Speaking (lasted 13 mins only, which I found weird, I thought it was 20 mins) 7.0 Overall 7.5
@@naimabou1403 Everything you need to know are in the videos posted here, they will definitely explain it better than me, for example the PPF strategy for the speaking test, I also got the same questions as Jay (advertisement and wild life), and as long as you practice you will most likely have to answer questions that you encountered here. @@alhamgawad1318 for the reading part, there will be a few words that you won't understand, don't panic, don't be scared and try to finish reading there will be synonyms that will help you figure out what they're talking about (even in my native language there are many words that I need a dictionary for), they're most likely adding them on purpose to throw you off, also on my exam there were 2 marked words (*) that were actually explained on the bottom, so check if you got any.

@@lizelbautista It didn't go as i planned it to. Started of very well and then the examiner hit me with questions about Architecture(which i have no idea of) and i spiraled on. Plus, i know an examiner isn't your friend and you shouldn't expect that, but the session felt more like an interview rather than a conversation. Fingers crossed though. I pray it turns out okay. Thanks for asking anyway.
Really helpful video! My teacher taught me that, I should cover all the sub questions in Part2, and whenever he gave score in the mock test he used to reduce the score and told me it is because I didn't cover one of the sub questions.

@DURDONA Abdurashidova 7+ is a hard score. Your grammar in the above comment does not seem very tight, you should check grammar for writing I believe. Also you can do mock tests, they helped me a lot. And youtube videos like this guys
