Preferably wear sth that will make you comfortable 4. Don't forget your passport or I'd (original) 5. Arrive at the venue early 6. Have something to eat 7. Have a good night's sleep prior to exam 8. Don't take ielts without first doing a mock exam 9. You will be nervous before and during the exam day but be courageous 10. Prepare well before the D-day. Thanks for sharing Mark.
11. Bring a transparent water bottle (no labels, no writing of any kind) 12. Use the loo before the test (using the loo during the listening test (30 mins) is not allowed) 13. During the reading test, use the 1 minute pre-test time to quickly read through the questions and make notes of key words / themes / names. This will help you to identify the paragraphs that contain the answers.

Hi E2 Ielts! I scheduled my IELTS academic last August 27 and took it Sept 3. For a week of self-review, I just binge watched your videos and took down tips most especially for the writing part. It was my first try and prayed to get the band score I need. After 4 days,I got my results (L:7.5,R 7.5,W 7.5,S 8.5) with band 8 overall. @@naimabou1403 Everything you need to know are in the videos posted here, they will definitely explain it better than me, for example the PPF strategy for the speaking test, I also got the same questions as Jay (advertisement and wild life), and as long as you practice you will most likely have to answer questions that you encountered here. @@alhamgawad1318 for the reading part, there will be a few words that you won't understand, don't panic, don't be scared and try to finish reading there will be synonyms that will help you figure out what they're talking about (even in my native language there are many words that I need a dictionary for), they're most likely adding them on purpose to throw you off, also on my exam there were 2 marked words (*) that were actually explained on the bottom, so check if you got any.

I just got my IELTS score and scored overall ban 7.0(L-7.5, R-7.5, W-6.0, S-6.5 with just 3 days of preparation where I watched E2 IELTS videos. I must these guys are best possible thing you have to learn all the strategies and tips to ace the exam. I was a but overconfident about my speaking and writing so I didn't prepare much. I would recommend people who wants to get band 7 and above to prepare first then watch their videos when you have 1 week for your exam so that you revise all the things you learnt and can know some cheats to nail the exam.
Really helpful video! My teacher taught me that, I should cover all the sub questions in Part2, and whenever he gave score in the mock test he used to reduce the score and told me it is because I didn't cover one of the sub questions.

@DURDONA Abdurashidova 7+ is a hard score. Your grammar in the above comment does not seem very tight, you should check grammar for writing I believe. Also you can do mock tests, they helped me a lot. And youtube videos like this guys

I’ve noticed the Americans write and speak far clearer than native English people. Even asking an American for directions, they are far more clear and accurate than English people. That’s my Personal perception of Americans in general. Obviously I’m not speaking of people who live in the hood or who live in the projections. I’ve never understood people who’s first language is English but can’t speak it, I find that rather alarming. By the way, I absolutely love you English, you speak very calm and clear. I prepared for the writing part by practicing how to write intros and conclusions, also by understanding the different types of questions asked and by writing practice essays/letters under the time limit. I did that by reading potential topics on Liz IELTS's website and by following the different strategies used by E2 examiners. My writing topic was pretty simple; it was about the pros and cons of competitive games. I also suggest that you try to cover various topics such as environment, technology, argiculture, medecine... you just need to develope some key vocabulary words you don't need to be an expert in all of these topics. Best of luck and do let me know of your score when you finish :)

phew. thank you guys, i am taking my exam tomorrow and just had 3 days to study. i aim for a 7.5 or better overall, i hope i can get rid of my anxiety and the pressure on me.

@DURDONA Abdurashidova 7+ is a hard score. Your grammar in the above comment does not seem very tight, you should check grammar for writing I believe.
Also you can do mock tests, they helped me a lot. And youtube videos like this guys

I’ve noticed the Americans write and speak far clearer than native English people. Even asking an American for directions, they are far more clear and accurate than English people. That’s my Personal perception of Americans in general. Obviously I’m not speaking of people who live in the hood or who live in the projections. I’ve never understood people who’s first language is English but can’t speak it, I find that rather alarming.
By the way, I absolutely love you English, you speak very calm and clear. Thank you for your time in making this video.

@@Loseweightnew thanks! well I prepared for just over a month by following the video tutorials on this channel + the free subscribtion to the E2 website helped a lot if you can afford to pay for the courses then definitely do that, if not then just watch the yt videos and follow the strategies and practice as much as you can!

I prepared for the writing part by practicing how to write intros and conclusions, also by understanding the different types of questions asked and by writing practice essays/letters under the time limit. I did that by reading potential topics on Liz IELTS's website and by following the different strategies used by E2 examiners. My writing topic was pretty simple; it was about the pros and cons of competitive games. I also suggest that you try to cover various topics such as environment, technology, argiculture, medecine... you just need to develope some key vocabulary words you don't need to be an expert in all of these topics.

Hi Jay, tomorrow is my IELTS test, i got to appear urgently, so preparing since yesterday. Dont know! wether going to achieve the required band. However, learning through your videos.
