    Man, the Nameless Puppet is not “a blank slate that could be anything or anyone.” It’s someone specific. He’s part flesh. His identity is one of the most intriguing things about this encounter.

    I feel like Laxasia difficulty is perfect for her fight. For someone that epic they better give me a hard time. She was the first boss (besides romeo) that i didn't want to kill because i just had so much fun fighting her. To me it felt like fighting a true warrior with incredible powers. I never get tired of fighting her. Shes my favorite and one of my favorites of all time.

    I hate it when the final boss isn’t the hardest major fight inside a game. I love how they did it in Lies of P: the nameless puppet is absolutely insane and but it’s somehow optional. It’s the final fight but also skippable. That way you can turn up the difficultly to max while still not frustrating players, especially on subsequent playthroughs. If Malenia in Elden Ring wouldn’t be optional a playthrough would be a pain. But then when fighting her the final boss looks pitty in comparison. By making the final fight the hardest but also optional the player can enjoy the perfect balance between those options.

    For a studio making their first attempt at a title transcending mobile games, LoP absolutely slaps. Yes it's not perfect but the devs are certainly heading in the right direction. As long as they push forward and learn from their mistakes then I can easily see some absolute masterpieces coming from them.

    I have huge experience difference in my NG + in terms of boss difficulty, especially when you get all the tools at your disposal
    Some of the lower tier list becomes way tougher on the list and i have to fight them more carefully do to their insane damage, while others which i thought is hard becomes trivilize after you learned their moveset.
    Watchman and King Flame actually kill me more times / trickier to fight than King of Puppet which i simply first shot it in my 2nd playthrough.
    King of Puppet used to be a huge barrier in my first playthrough but at my 2nd playthrough i learned how simple his moveset actually is in his phase 2 if you learned it.
    Compare to some later humanoid bosses with insane tracking, King of Puppet moves probably is the easiest to side step away among every bosses.
    He also doesnt has much tankiness at all with his hp compare to ng+ of some later bosses.
    What I find in NG+ that's most overtoned is probably the Swamp monster. He has so much hp and he pretty much force you to learn Parry cuz his moves are rly hard to dodge.
    Nameless puppet in NG+ P1 is so ez i can pretty much beat it without using a single heal, but p2 is still tricky to fight. However he doesn't has much hp so if you get lucky a bit you can beat it pretty easily too.

    You can actually run pass the clown boss and get the stargazer in front of the theatre to have a better boss run. This game places like a stargazer behind each miniboss and elite mob. So if you feel like the boss run is abnormally long, you're probably right because a shorter route is somewhere else

    Idk I think Laxasia is a perfectly designed fight. It's the only "super hard" fight that I beat in less than 10 tries. You can just run away from her wild swings, and you can deflect her lightning in the second stage to do like 1/5 of her health bar.

    • @Enter_Gaming
      @Enter_Gaming  Рік тому +1

      Tbh it took me way more tries than that... I think playstyle matters alot with her fight, especially when it comes to preference between dodging, blocking, and running. I ended up feeling like I had to completely change my style just for that fight

    I can't see where you are coming from with the idea that Laxasia's difficulty is too high for her place in the game. She is literally an endgame boss with the final arena visible from her boss arena.
    Like how much more in the final level do you need to be before difficulty is justified?
    I really enjoy your conent and this video, but this one had me scratching me head lol.

    • @Enter_Gaming
      @Enter_Gaming  Рік тому

      First of all, thank you so much for the support! I answered this in another comment but basically... I worded it poorly. I feel that even as a late game boss, she is overly difficult. I say that because it is such a difficulty spike from anything else up to that point, so much so that it feels forced and not in line with the rest of the game.
      Her fight is incredibly cinematic and really cool, but to me and my experience, even her place as a late game boss doesn't justify her difficulty. My experience with her made me readjust my entire playstyle for the one fight, which is okay, but given how I felt the spike in difficulty came out of nowhere.. it felt out of place.
      Like I said, I worded it poorly in the video and didn't really capture my thoughts as I ended. Hope this clears it up a bit

    • @paragon722
      @paragon722 Рік тому

      @@Enter_Gaming That is fair enough, though I feel this boss is only an illusion of difficulty. She is one of the few bosses that can be circled in a lot of the multi combos in phase 1 without DS2 level tracking. And reflecting the lightning bolts nearly trivializes the 2nd phase. Plus at this point we can have 2 charges of auto parry.
      And you are welcome! Keep the vids coming.

    • @Enter_Gaming
      @Enter_Gaming  Рік тому

      Yeah I agree with you on phase one. It really wasn't too bad, and alot of the moveset was recycled from eldest brother of BRB. The problem with reflecting the bolts in phase 2 is, if you don't realize that is a mechanic, then those bolts really hurt lol my playstyle included dodging wayyyy more than parrying, and I didn't use the autoparry grindstone at this point. So my personal experience was pretty terrible until I got gud and changed my playstyle. In retrospect, I know what you mean, but my experience sucked.

    Laxasia for me was the 2nd best fight just beneath the nameless puppet. Romeo was incredible but came 3rd (wish we knew a bit more about him when we first fought him) and the Simon fight comes way later for me since I didn’t like that fight at any of it’s phases. The boss felt slow and clumsy and the only real threat was his supernatural abilities. If he did succeed godhood and became something terrifying with same superpowers but faster and more graceful attacks it would have been way more interesting and fitting. Even the champion had better moves and felt like a bigger threat to me

One side of the boss is not even worth fighting and the better side of the boss is the same as phase one but the (already overly delayed) attacks have arbitrarily different timings.
