- Lets talk about how to make Nutella Bourbon! Nutella infused whisky (or whiskey, depending on where you're from) was delivered to us by angels because it's been a brutal year. I'm using my favorite bourbon for this little adventure, and the results are outrageous. Chocolate hazelnut bourbon- really?? Yes. You could also easily do this with a rye or even a dark rum!
The hardcore spirit enthusiasts may want to filter more than I did, but the nutella lovers among you will love this no matter what. It's ridiculous. And this year, we deserve it. Cheers, friends!
What you'll need:
750ml bottle of your favorite whisky get something you like drinking!
-13oz (or more) Nutella Hazelnut Spread. amzn.to/37VcDqf
-9x13 Glass baking dish
-Cheesecloth or coffee filter
-Funnel

Did you know you can order booze (and snacks!) online and have them delivered in under an hour from one of your local liquor stores!? What a time to be alive. Check out Drizly- I'm a big fan, and use it when I don't feel like running to the store:

Niiiiiice... 🤤🤤🤤👌🏼 I can read just how good this is on your face... 😀 One question though: what other spirits do you think this would work well with? What about rye whiskey? Vodka of course, rum? What else?
Rye would be awesome... a dark spiced rum too. I don't know about vodka actually... the enfleurage doesn't change the flavor so dramatically that the original spirit is totally changed. It instead turns into a decadent blend of both with a strong nose of Nutella and a sweet finish. Vodka may be too neutral. However, a vodka infused with chocolate nibs and vanilla bean would be amazing! Excuse me while I go get supplies... LOL!
@@SavidgeKitchen even I love the idea of infusing vodka with cocoa nibs... hurry... 🏃🏃😃
That sounds FANTASTIC!! I grew up with Nutella like most kids grow up with peanut butter! Dayum!
It's what my life has been missing for so long... LOL!
I would make 2 drinks with this combination, literally a nutella bourbon liquor using an emulsifier to combine the 2, no filtering necessary! Or I'd use a larger amount of nutella and freeze filter it out completely. What you have here is basically just a smaller amount of nutella dissolved in bourbon in the end anyway. Looks delicious 😋
Whoop. Never done that with Bourbon, but did it with Rum. Nutella Rum...and a couple of Vanilla Pods. Now that was AMAZING! There’s no end to infusions. Great fun. Well Played 👏👏
They are great fun!! But much like "Screwball", I think this deserved to be commercially produced. Just as soon as I figure out how to distill my own whiskey... LOL!!!
Absolutely genius
Love your passion 😊
"And if you are not familiar with Nutella, my sincere condolences!" Hahaha Great video Jessica. Cheers!
hahahahah- I grieve for these poor souls. Nutella is a gift from above!
This sounds great!!!!
Seriously, so good. You gotta try it!
@@SavidgeKitchen This will be something we try in Jan 21!!
I need to try this one, if not for me, at least for my girlfriend which is a Nutella lover but not a whisky lover. You gave me the perfect solution!
I love it! Savidge Kitchen: cocktails & couples therapy. LOL!
@@SavidgeKitchen Lol!
I was also thinking of what to do with the bourbon flavoured nutella. Hot chocolate? Chocolate cake?
OMG hot chocolate. How did I not think of hot chocolate???? Brilliant!
You should try skrewball
I’m curious to see if you check out this comment since you made this video 2 years ago! You would love Pampered Chef’s measuring bowls that have pouring lips and handles❤❤❤
Those sound great! I’m a klutz no matter what I use, but I’ll take all the help I can get. 😂
What did you do with the bourbon soaked Nutella?
Drizzled over vanilla ice cream. My only regret is that I didn’t photograph it before it was gone. Just gonna have to do another bottle...
@@SavidgeKitchen I’m going to have to try this now, have ordered a bottle of Old Forester.
Nütella 😂
in case it survived that long, few days later did you end up with lots of sedimentation inside the bottle?
It really did- for the next batch, definitely more filtering.
@@SavidgeKitchen Thanks for answering. I will keep in mind.:@)
