I came to watch yet another reaction to this video, but man, I found a smart guy here. Your statement about betbox being a sport is so right. It requires breath and muscle control, that people usually don't use, and after you learn to control breathing and those muscles, then you have to coordinate everything, while being also creative with the beats. So yes, it is indeed a sport :)

I don't think anyone disagreed with River being 1st, and I think almost all of the community feels like Den got robbed from making it top 7. He was #2 on my personal list lmao
@@georgi1905 well yea no shit lmao, and these judges are very technical this year, but im talking about the community feeling like Den should've gotten in, if you watch any reaction to the winners from someone who knows a lot about bbx, you'll hear them mention Den, Like Recluse, Chazame and Sxin, Toast, HerShe, etc
@@tokenrl Yea melodically den was the best in the wildcards but the problem with his wildcard was that the structure wasn't versatile enough, the drops were good because he mainly shined the focus on them. Everything else was pretty meh. Thats why when you go to watch stitch's reaction listen in the end.
12:50 I completely agree, I've been beatboxing for over a year and I'm not even close to being as close as other beatboxers, I will admit I'm pretty good but not as good as other people, usually people would want to learn how to beatbox, practice for like a week, and they quit because they think that's it's impossible, it takes time to become good at something, especially beatboxing, it's a skill that takes many years and dedication to learn. There's even sounds that I'm still practicing to this day like inward bass, the water drop, poh snare, vortex whistle etc.

To me, River is the most obvious 1st place wildcard in ANY GBB Wildcard Competition in history. And this says a lot considering how CRAZY HIGH LEVEL every single wildcard had this year. This specific GBB is historical and it hasn't even officially begun. RIver truly deserved to win this competition and I really hope to see him perform just as well on stage.
@@LiorRonen Trung Bao deserved the 1st seed amongst the wildcards that were submitted during the same competition, while River deserved 1st seed here. If we were to compare them both though, I’d put River over Trung Bao. Reason is because even though Trung Bao showed some crazy skills in his routine, River showed he is a musical genius that doesn’t have to use every single sound in his artillery to impress - he just proves he knows exactly what fits the best. To me, that’s more impressive.
I have to suggest the loopstation wildcard winners. If you wanna see more solo wildcards from this year, improver, den, and footboxg all had outstanding solo wildcards that were much better than alems imo.
And if u want some adviceis for another beatbox reaction i think u should react to villain, azel, reeps one, skiller, zekka....this are some names, hope u'll enyoi them👍🏻🔥
Do the gbb21 tag teams next. They’re just coming out so theyll be fresh for everyone of us. Edit. The judging for these is big on musicality and structure as much as insanity. There we’re some that should have been up there but there are all solid and deserving
River was number one for me, without a doubt. However, all other places in the top 7 were up for grabs because of how high level the competition was. I disagree with a few picks, but I don't have the same bbx knowledge and experience that the judges have.
