Let's talk about the fact that I watch these as they come out, then put on the supercuts of series I've already seen as background noise.
Isn´t that what everyone does? I do.
Peak second monitor content.
started playing this game years ago when i was a kid. and i’ve learned more from this guy than i ever did from playing
I love self-deprecating humor
I'm genuinely surprised with how much TFP love Fallout they didn't lift the lockpicking mechanics from that franchise. In Fallout, locks are tiered difficulties (very easy, easy, average, hard, very hard), and your perk level affects what level of lock you can pick. Then, when actually picking a lock, it opens a minigame where your skill entirely determines your success, with the difficulty of the minigame based on the lock's tier. Instead of just "RNG said no, lol" and you waste like 30 picks on one lock. And, they could have a "brute force open" option which is essentially the RNG-based system we have now for people who somehow prefer the RNG system.
I’ve not been watching the series yet just because I wanted to wait for the supercut LETS GOOOOOOOO
Yessir, Which one is your favorite supercut?
mine has to be the intellect one. I started using stun batons "used to be a sledge hammer 1 trick" but.... Warrior difficulty run speed for day time. and nightmare for ferals and at night. After 1 playthrough I love the isolated intellect build for early game. I no longer have to split 50/50 intellect and strength
To be honest I think my favourite was the latest desert ranger :)
Quest spamming, makes the early game so much easier, you need food? spam for dukes and eat canned food from vending machine, Drink? same thing. No need to ever farm or cook really, until your ready and at that point its more for saving a few dukes.
People who complain about water...first vending machine/merchants, second "Stop skipping the loot drop of murky water." Seriously loot management saves you so much time mid to late game on how you loot early game/spam placing boxes outside POI range and just put all the stuff in the starting town you raid in them that you don't immediately need. (lead, seeds, paper, etc) things you will likely need mid to late game. then once you have a mini-bike or higher come pick up the stuff.
Brass=dukes early game sell it, once you have a FEW forges, and can dedicate one to bullet cases, save brass around then, otherwise its just free dukes. If you feel like "oh no I cant find brass mid to late game", DUKES are literally brass when scrapped/melted.
only thing to fear early game in this game are, DOGS (dam fast evil things), Lucky crits that infect you and you don't have cure items (once you start getting these that is not an issue), and FERALS mostly depending on game settings/difficulty level. (even at 2nd highest difficulty and Running fast, just go agility for 2 levels parkour, problem solved if you know how to jump up to 2 high walls they cant reach you. All of this is assuming you do the one thing for tier 1 to 2 POI spamming, Stealth, stealth, stealth.
Once you get mid game, you focus on a certain build/mods with heavy armor, this is once you get the book that stops the speed penalty while in combat with armor (Urban combat book of some #).
you get this heavy armor, that book, and then you start running load with shotguns/AK, even lever action could work, (pistols not so much, more backup to switch too when no time to reload.)
and you just spam Tier 4 to 5 Loud with some stealth moments, cause it doesnt matter anymore due to trigger rooms you cant stealth. Game is done, you only have HORDE night to worry about, and making stupid choices, like jumping out of your Gyro-copter early in mid air.....at 100 blocks or higher....yeah.
The very end game is just HORDE base experiment mode/what building you going to make today. As you spend 2-3 days grinding resources, another 2-4 doing whatever you want, and the horde day/night making sure you have a horde base working. This is game over, you have won.
The official release looks fine on most changes, but without changing zombie tactics and ADDING bandits....looking at you FUN PIMPS >.> , however without those changes this game is only fun with playing with friends lately, or killing some time, cause I want to shoot something (and this game is less Giga-bytes in size compared to most other shooters I would like to play.)
damn at 50:56 he turned "that strange yellow man" into "some assembly required man"
I do like the idea of a wasteland challenge, however as a veteran of this game, I see only a few early game issues that are mostly just RNG bad luck if they happen, once you get to a certain easy to get to point by focusing Agility early you actually have little to no issue of general safety.
Parkour, Stealth and stealth damage, bow, knives, and run-n-gun ( you only need 2 points in about each and your set and good til mid to late game.)
There are 5 skills you want at least 1 point in for BOOK finding to be inceased, (cooking, med, 3 others, then focus what weapons you want.
After that build whatever you want but rush focus in it, (shotguns make a good compliment to this agility start fyi, when you have to good loud go big). The knife is good until you start getting into ferals being more common/when you get 2 or more at a time. Clubs and Spears solve this, (or ....very modded, very book series heavy needed, but still actually good, shock BATON....ugh I hate this weapon its just a intellect Club that is weaker in general, but has a cool ability trying to make it look better.)
Another Supercut for my collection. I have found a horde base design that lasts fairly well. Buildable by day 7 with some grinding and last easily until day 45 "haven't tested it in waste land though"
I love playing Day 1 wasteland permadeath. Usually takesme a few tries to get past day 4 but its still fun. Unfortunatly it sounds like thats not going to be a possibility in 1.0 if theres radiation there
In the wasteland I believe, it is easier to generate zombies randomly from 'Heat events' and I know at Night there is NO CAP on the total amount that can spawn, (aka you might have an over zombie limit but your going to reach that cap if your not careful, aka more stealth.)
now THIS is content. even though i was already half way through the episodes
Another great movie. Lemme get my popcorn 😂
I love watching this man, get him a damn cookie
This video shows that horde nights really are broken. 5 nights on the same house with no issues is pretty lame. Perhaps a mechanic that the cops and the exploding zombie auto detonate near walls if left alone for too long on horde night? 🤷♂️
Have you looked into the Afterlife mod? GNS tried it out and it looks pretty good, looks like the old survival mod from back in the A17 days. I wish I would have known about it a few months ago.
Hey do you know of 1.0 is going to have an opt out for the beginning tutorial?
Big fan of thr comps
Had to sub after the miner69er tip
What visual settings do you run your game on?
amogus
As long as you can run fast, you shall live 😂
At 4:40, XD complaining about sprained arms or sprains in general at this time?! Yes you get one point into Physician and you can cure it. Gods that was such a good change.
I remember the days you could not and I carried in my Car 5 Health bars and a few Steroids to cover the sprain time. You needed to bring a 4-5 stack of Yucca smoothie to cover the water cost or a stack of yucca juice. This is if you wanted to be prepared.
I understand you dont like putting apoint into that for it most likely but 5 spare points early game to 5 certain skills help RNG to level up those book skills to 100 faster which also drops their change to spawn as much late game.
On todays episode of whackfuck:
Prebuilt - *WHACK*
Zombie - FUCK
Day 6 and already has a T4 steel club? Talk about imbalanced loot rewards.
3:46:23
🙂👏
Geez ur a god that bear situation was clutch
After 5:00 time mark you mention that using more points you got from lv up "makes the game harder' by what mechanics in the game do you mean????? Cause last I check adding more points does not make it harder, that is your game stage. Which your LEVEL determines not points spent, Gosh sure you cant get much now using them, but by gosh dont just sit on them, unless you want to make the game harder on you.
The point which you are deliberately missing is that levelling up makes the game harder and the points are of no benefit to me.
