Great soul singing is a delicate balance of power and tenderness. It’s Gospel inspired music. So many try but don’t innately get it. Vanessa gets it.
One of the greatest voices in the world and so under appreciated.
She has the most incredible soulful voice, it is amazing to me that she isnt more known in the USA. I'm glad shes still singing though. Some other soulful tunes to check out of hers are Wolf, Heavy Lies The Head, Rise Up. There are many. There's also the beautiful ballad, Every Time I Close My Eyes. This is my absolute favorite version of Natural Woman.

Hey Vanessa, love your work. I have soooo many favourites with your music. It’s like having 10 kids and not being able to pick a favourite. As a fellow Melbournian and avid UA-cam viewer. I and other Aussies have been pushing to get your music heard on reaction channels globally. Not sure if you know it or not, you’ve become a favourite for several channels and they’re always blown away by your talent, personality and depth of work. I am from America, but here in America it seems that artists from other countries are not given the same chance as American artists. It probably bothers me more then it bothers Vanessa. But still it is not fair.
