She has always had a pretty soulful/gospel voice. Absolutely Everybody is upbeat and fun. And Heavy lies the head has such gusto,and a get your dance on feel to it,(I know she didn't sing it in this mix but that song just rocks.)Perfect is well, perfect.Thanks for sharing.

What a voice! If you want some awesome gospel/soul goodness you listen to Vanessa.She holds her own.

She has the most incredible soulful voice, it is amazing to me that she isnt more known in the USA. I'm glad shes still singing though. Some other soulful tunes to check out of hers are Wolf, Heavy Lies The Head, Rise Up. There are many. There's also the beautiful ballad, Every Time I Close My Eyes. This is my absolute favorite version of Natural Woman.
