Yes, there is a way to reprogram the ECU to deactivate the TPMS feature, if that's what you want. It's not easy, and the software to do it isn't cheap, but it can be done.
@@daniil835 I do have a link in the video description for the TPMS units. I personally did not use them but reading the reviews it looks like they work good.
If you know the tires are inflated properly there is no harm with the light on. Problem is you won't know if one or more tires get low. Thanks for watching.
I work at a dealership. Usually we just mark a line on tire by the valve stem. That way when we remount the tire, we can re align the line, throw it on balancer and usually it will still be balanced. Sometimes it might require an additional 1/4 or 1/2oz weight to be added.
Hey man nice review. Do i need to press something or program when I put the new sensor? My front righy is busted and just wanted to buy online since its cheaper dealer crazy expensive
I to have the same problem in my 2014 dodge caravan. I live in Canada! So it like $200 bucks or I could be wrong, I know $100 at least just to use that gadget
@@GarageWorx that's great ty I've ordered ours as i have 2 of them not working. Make sure you repost on there that it worked. That way people will know and ty again.

Any harm in letting the light stay on if I know my tires are inflated properly? Great video by the way. Thanks

No need to reprogram. The vehicle will see it after about 5 miles of driving.
Did it ever reset itself to the new TPMS sensor?
Yes it did. Took a few miles of driving.

Do you have a Discount Tire up there? They will check for free and tell you which sensor isn't sending out a signal.
@@GarageWorx we don’t. Would of been nice to have one those.
My 2015 civic does not have it and Im happy so not sure about mandatory 2006
If it was originally sold in the USA it has it. If it doesn't have it maybe it was originally sold in Canada?
